MHL to HDMI Adapter - Galaxy Note II Accessories

Hello, I got today my adapter, and found out its 5 pin and not 11
Can someone link me to an adapter at eBay that will work?
I saw some at ~6$ which is a good price, but I'm not sure they will work.
Thanks!

You can try this one. Samsung EPL-FU10BEGSTA 5-pin Micro USB to 11-pin Micro USB HDTV Smart Adapter for Samsung Galaxy S3, Note 2 and MHL-enabled Phones

Don't have one cuz don't use it on the tv. But I would stick too Sammy for Sammy. Knock off usually means it's not going to work half the time..

I'm sorry I don't keep it. But there are so many sellers there and check their reputation before you choose one

I think that the Note 2 requires an 11 pin adapter and it runs about 35 bucks. I bought a 5 pin mhl adapter on amazon for 12 dollars then bought the 5 pin to 11 pin adapter from Newegg for 9 bucks. So I spent 21 bucks for a working mhl.

I bought one like this. Should be here tomorrow, will let you know how it works. Thought I'd try this cause I hate those little box things, my USB never stays snug in it.
I bought a cheap hk one on my note 1 and it's glitchy I'll be buying the Samsung official hdmi dock when my note 2 comes next week

So I have messed around with this for about an hour playing games and just playing on the phone. It works fine and is nice and snug. I even have it hooked up to a 20 foot HDMI cable via a female to female HDMI adapter.
Hi, can you help to check if the camera apps work when you use mhl ?

The camera app works with mine, mirrored it on the TV. I didn't think it would since it don't remember it working with my note 1.
eh really? Wow, i have been holding my self back from buying since i don't think it'll work. Thanks. What rom are you using? and are you using the official MHL adapter (from Samsung)?
I have official MHL with stock unrooted. Seems to work fine, but it doesn't seem to want to do 1080p, so it does 1080i. I hear 1080p works, but it is choppy.

Galaxy Note 2 definitely requires an 11-pin MHL adapter, or an 11-pin adapter for a regular 5-pin MHL adapter.
I just stumbled upon this and am considering picking up one myself. Not sure on the number of pins

[Q] HDMI for the Note 2 SGH-1317

I recently purchased my first AT&T Galaxy Note 2 model SGH-1317. I've been wanting to hook it up to my LCD TV. I've done some searches for adapters and have come up with one on ebay: ATT SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2 SGH-I317 MHL TO HDMI HDTV SMART ADAPTER EPL-3FHUBE OEM running $37.99. Any suggestions on alternatives that any would like to share. Thanks in advance!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009MJ58OI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 This has worked well for me! Also you can read my review. Also it is helpful to do a search here! I bought this after I read a post on here about it.

Damm I had ordered some OEM Samsung one from China http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-i9300-i9308-Galaxy-S3-S-III-MHL-Micro-USB-11P-HDMI-HDTV-Adapter-/111001759182?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D5763556128870212755%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D111001759182%26 which is going for $10.99
If I had seen that Monoprice one I would of gone for that instead since I can just do local pickup from that place Hopefully this one I ordered isn't a generic knock off

Headphones that fit with OTG micro USB?

Looking for headphones that fit with an OTG micro SB. Or an OTG that fits with standard headphones. The OTG micro SB that I have is the standard on on amazon prime and the headphones are iphone ear buds but the inserting end is too tall to fit with the OTG attached. I don't think wireless headphones are an option because I want them for plain rides. Thoughts?

Yeah... Ones that aren't right angled but just straight like a normal micro usb cable... I have 2 right angles that i use with my nexus 7 and s3.....but just bought a nexus 10 and ordered 2 otg straight ones from ebay. They were 99 cents shipped from ebay. I knew my old right angle ones would be in the way of the headphone jack on the n10 so bought those. Cheaper alternative than buying new headphones

I would think so. I haven't read anything about otgs not working unless the tablet isn't equipped to use them.

This the seller i bought from. I ordered it on the 20th and got them yesterday the 23rd. They both work on my nexus 7 and s3 just fine. Nexus 10 hasn't come in the mail yet. Tried multiple flash drives, hard drives, mice, keyboard and card readers. Quality is just as good as the right angle ones I got

MHL HDMI question

I'm in need of an mhl hdmi adapter... but I have read nothing but headaches in the comments on Amazon. Can someone post a link to a 100% working unit complete with 11pin adapter (Amazon or otherwise)
It would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I've bought this from Amazon and it seems to work for me. I tested it and the screen is mirrored onto my TV. I haven't watched any movies yet, but since the screen mirroring works, I assume it will be fine.

[INFO] HDMI adapter

Anyone have any luck with HDMI adapters to hook up to tv's for the S4? Which ones? I'd rather not get the official adapter if possible but I bought a cheap $11 one from newegg thinking I'd save $30 or so and it didn't work out too well.
So I'm curious to hear what works for others and where you got them.
I'd like to start a list of sorts in this thread to maybe help others out when looking for an adapter.
Info on type, price and where it can be purchased would be great.
Thanks
You may need this http://goo.gl/tOcYq to make the non samsung mhl adapters work. Samsung uses a 11 pin micro usb plug instead of the standard 5 pin.

Yeah S III/Note 2 MHL to HDMI cable works
Maybe the one I originally bought was a dud.
This one works.

It can be used plugged with or without being plugged into power source (MHL2.0 spec perhaps?).
I think it was Samsung's site that some of the reviews were less than favorable for the adapter.
I used my Galaxy S2 hdmi/mhl adapter and added a 5 to 11 pin adapter for $3 from monoprice (the same website as in post #2).
