HI, i have really annoying problem when trying to update firmware even before updating unofficial v20a, when i try to enter download mode i have only color !! like the pic, every thing else is just fine, so if any one encountered something like that or know how to fix it please do tell it would be much appreciated.

just like me man its a buggy rom but i manage to counter it by pull the battery then *+DONT PUSH THE VOL DOWN FIRST+* CONNECT THE PHONE WITH THE PC THEN IMMEDIATLY PUSH THE VOL DOWN and see if its working cuz its work for me

Simply connect your phone with the battery inside. When connected, you then press volume down

may be it wasn't getting enough power from usb !

Have you tried to put battery off and press vol- while put it via USB?

follow given steps:
Step 1. Remove battery
Step 2. Try to boot it in recovery mode by pressing POWER KEY + Vol. Up key Together until the second LG boot screen appears.
Step 3. CWM recovery will load n flash the proper rom by wiping the data, dalvik cache, battery status, wiping partitions.

hello to the member that posted this forum, hope i can be of help.
i had exactly the same problem, i belive i can help you,
first off, take your battery out, and hold vol up and down and then plug in usb, if your phone comes up as recognised as apx mode, your in luck.
i bricked my phone when flashing. my laptop died, i now now how to fix this problem. you need a few programs, but first tell me if you can get into apx mode atall. and from there i can help you.
hope you get back to me. i want to help as others have helped me in the past.

Try plug it to pc pressing vol+, if phone goes to S/W screen, maybe you can use SmartFlash to fix the phone.

nah,i sent my phone to local repair shop,they said that its board is dead,i will have to send it to Saudi Arabia to fix it,because i bought it from there.....
im RUNNING JELLYBAM 4.0.0 (4.1.2) now and my problem is if i TEST antutu i takes time to start like it, i think 0% to 1% takes 3 to 5 minutes..
unlike other ROM if you TEST antutu it takes time to test but NOT TO START and immediately start the test..
do you have any idea to solve this?
Try connecting to a wifi network before starting to test..
And let me know if its still slow..

I've installed Evo port, and the kernel, and it's bricked with black screen ! It doesn't enter on DOWNLOAD MODE, RECOVERY MODE, and my PC doesn't longer find it!

The battery is ok. I've putted in another phone and it works... I think i'm gonna' send it to Samsung...
Post this in rom thread. And I am sorry for your phone. Do you have mini or mini plus. If your phone doesnt work at all, that cant be bcoz the rom. On my phone worked perfectly. Maybe your screen is broken. And the rom doesnt have bootanimation.

If it have worked, at least it had should appear the SAMSUNG image...
It doesn't enter on RECOVERY or DOWNLOAD MODE! Is that because of the screen? I have it for 5 months, it can't have the screen broken. Give me a break! Do you have any ideas? If no, don't reply and make my life easier.

You answered your own mistake the rim you installed was for gt~s5570i and not gt-s5570 so bricking inevitable you better take it to Samsung center

WELL USUALLY SAMSUNG MOBILE COMES WITH 1 year warranty..in that case your mobile is in warreanty period..it doesnt matters if it is rooted or not..I GUESS YOUR MOBILE WIl be allright..MY FRIEND's CASE WAS ALSO like that ..and the main cause was that his motherboard was dead..but unlukcily he wasn't in warranty period..SO CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY..
they may not be able to find that the phone is rooted
as they will flash the stock firmware for you

During that call i had my headphones plugged in and the other person can't hear me . My headphones don't have a mic, so the mic of the smarphone is needed but he goes to mute and i don't know why ..
I used the same headphones in other roms during calls and the mic of the smartphone works perfectly .. There's any way to fix this bug on this rom ???

This sort of problem is strange. I hope you have read each n every post of the ROM thread. Coz if its a known bug a patch file must be there somewhere.
