TwLauncher app drawer transparency change and Gingerbread gallery. - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I just upgraded a friend's phone to 4.1.2 N7000DDLR9.
Just two things my friend hates are the non-scrolling wallpaper and the app-drawer background transparency.
Can anyone please tell me how to change the two?
EDIT:
Can someone provide me with the gingerbread gallery please?

Bump.
Sorry, but urgent.

You can use hack for scrollable wallpaper in Jb try searching the fourms, it's available in alliance rom by default

Thanks.
But I still need the Gingerbread Gallery.
Can someone please provide me the APK?
I even need to change the transparency of the background for when I open the app drawer.

Bumpity.

If it's really urgent, you still can download any of the GB ROM and extract from it the apk you need, it will be really quicker than hoping any of the few people still on GB and XDA will find and respond to your thread (which by the way should has been in the Q&A section)

Screen transitions

Anyone know where i can get some screen transitions to flash in ?
im not sure i understand...
what do u mean by "screen transitions"?
not animations within the launcher, right?
Similar but the transition effect when windows upon or close

it depends on the rom and launcher.
some launchers offer screen transition when going to app drawer.
but screen transitions between other screens is something i remember that was very customized in Froyo and when gingerbread arrived it was suddenly neglected...
maybe u need one programmer to make a new rom/zip with transitions and all will follow him hh

Can't get the Splanner widget working

I can't get this widget to work on any custom rom it seems. It's there when i install Samsung firmware, but when install checkROM or Darky, I can't get it back.
I've looking in system\apps and the APK is there, permissions are correct. What am I missing?

You are missing touchwizz, it only works under the TW launcher
I'm actually using TW launcher in both of these roms

It isn't included in CheckROM base ROM - you need to install separately via KitchenPro.

I've done that multiple times. It won't show up in the add widget sections.
Even after wipes and formats it won't work.

Are you sure you've actually flashed everything you need?
I flashed:
Samsung Removed Apps
Samsung Clocks
Samsung Widgets
and had no problem with the S-Planner widget.

Transparent app drawer

Is there any way to make the app drawer on a deodexed stock gingerbread rom transparent or semitransparent? I have tried uot kitchen but i don't see any option for that. Can someone help me?
Yes, use different non-stock launcher
Your post is useless as i clearly asked for a way to mod the default app drawer. Anyway, i found a solution. Ill have to edit TouchWiz30Launcher.apk.

Request: Stock Launcher theme ICS/Jelly Style

Hello everybody,
first of all i want to apologize for asking for it. But i definately can not do it myself.
I´m just looking for an .apk theme for stock Optimus UI which replaces the app drawer icon with the stock nexus style one,
cause i don´t like the default ones. That´s eveything i need, all the other desktop icons can be changed via Optimus UI launcher.
So if anyone has the same interest and likes to do something like this i would be more than happy.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers
Daniel
Nova launcher or apex launcher
There is an app in lg smart world by it you can download themes for the stock launcher , made by lg .
I don't remember the name maybe "theme box" or something like that

Hy, thanks for the hint with smart world. I'll have a try and log in. I have holo launcher hd on my phone, but not running cause i'm not rooted and can not use the widgets tab.

Are you rooted? If yes, just copy and replace original file via es file explorer or total commander to /system/app
If you're not rooted then you can't install it.

^This. No root required. Running smooth.
AW: Request: Stock Launcher theme ICS/Jelly Style
Yeah i know, but unless i am not rooted i can not use widget drawer to place widgets on homescreen. It will be possible when we get jelly update till end of march (i hope/want to believe). But i really favour stock launcher so i think about root and have a try with this custon biz theme.

Well, not entirely true, you can still use the Widget drawer, cept it's going to be the Gingerbread style one. But yes, in order to have a true stock ICS or JB experience I guess we have to wait till LG updates roll out.
If you don't wanna root. I sure don't. Not yet atleast.

If you Only want buttons and colors, choose one android theme from my signature (jelly bean or KitKat)
Absolutely possible...
We can theme every little thing in Android...
Actually... That's project I'm working on...
It's still on a "drawing table" but I'm on vacations and I have some free time to play with few concepts....

You could try a different launcher. Nova launcher has a stock feel to it.
