Hi,
on my P880 the screen remains lid if an SMS is received and it woke from StandBy. How do I stop this? It happens if something is touching the screen when the message arrives and it wakes from StandBy. It wont go back to sleep and the battery drains quickly.
Thanks for your help!!

Does anyone know how to turn this off? It's really annoying that the phone vibrated every few seconds when the battery level drops below 20%. Thanks
Mine has only ever vibrated one time on the initial 15% warning.

With a couple cycles of my battery and using the power saver, I have noticed a big increase in the the battery life. However, I typically turn my phone off at night and have noticed that when I turn it back on in the morning, I have lost 5% - 8% of battery life because my phone has stayed awake all night (see pics). I have attached some screenshots and highlighted in red the times when it was turned off. It looks like the wavelock keeping it awake is the HTcShutdownThread-shutdown. Is anyone else experiencing this? I would like to find a solution, as it seems my phone would do better with battery life if I left it on in standby, instead of turning it off. This should not be the case.
It appears to me by looking at the first screenie that the awake time is caused by your phone looking for a signal
The Network signal and the awake match up if they were put together the would make one continuous line
There was an update that addressed this.

The same fix also stops location from keeping your phone awake.
I am having exactly the same problem! And I don't know how to fix it!

Losing around 15% of battery whilst switched off overnight. The phone reads as being either awake with screen on or off.
Hello all,
Since the latest firmware update, my G Watch R no longer turns it's screen off when i leave it on my bedside table overnight (not charging) where as it does turn off if it's on the charging cradle.
I've always had the screen set to always on and it generally lasts 2 days easily before the update but now that the screen stays on ambient mode, the battery would drop from 60-70% to around 35-40% after several hours while I'm asleep. I've done a factory reset last week and it didn't help.
On a slightly related note, the battery seems to drain much faster when it reaches below 20% and most of the time it just dies at around 5-10% left even with battery saver on.
Anyone else encountered this?
go into the wear app on your phone and disable always on screen. u also need to do this from the watch settings as well.
But that would turn off ambient mode which I want on and had done so since I bought the watch in November.
I have the same issue as well. Would love to have it back.
Hi,
I really like the alarm/clock app on the Nexus 6. I don't use snooze but i set up like 10+ alarms for waking up in the morning. Sometimes I cannot wake up and the alarm just stays ringing after every 10 minutes. Today, I woke up late meaning alarms kept ringing for long with screen on obviously. Then, I noticed that my battery had gone from 100 to about 61 when I was in office and battery stats showed about 1 plus hour of Screen on time which was weird because i didnt use the phone that much then I realised it might have been the alarm. But 40% battery drain is too much. Any suggestions on this? Maybe how to keep screen off when alarm is ringing?

My personal suggestion is to do what I do...
Personally I keep my phone on charge overnight, and when the alarms sound off, the phone is still plugged into the charger. I actually don't take my phone off of the charger until I am about ready to leave the house.
My Alarm Clock Free on playstore has screen brightness adjustments when the alarm rings.
The battery drain may not be from just screen on time, my alarm also vibrates and that will drain battery.
Hi there. I found a rather annoying bug on my S10, I went to sleep with 90% battery and after 10 hours woke up with the USSD pop up message and the display is always on, not even go back to sleep and bypassed the AOD, which caused the battery depleted to 68%. Does anyone have the same bug?
