You have to set permissions of the apk as rw-r--r-- using root explorer or similar explorer.

I think you skipped something in smali cause that's where the actions are defined ....

When u made this port have u added ids in public.XML?
Refresh
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
Don't add ids in public XML....they should get created on their own when you compile the apk

Now I know the correct problem. We haven't edited the required smali and we will have to also assign a different Id which comes in public XML after compiling and again decompiling

644 is -rw-r--r--
.so files move to lib folder - set premissions to 644
.apk files move to app folder - set premissions to 644
After that delete or remove your original LGIME.apk and LGIMEI.odex files, reboot your phone and thats it, u have new keyboard
Not working can someone upload the original .so files from /lib?

I think I found a solution for voice recognition google offline:
-in your phone find your language in /data/data/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/app_g3_models/
-Place it in /data/data/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/app_g3_models/ on your gear
-Change permissions of all files to -rw-rw-rw-
-look the owner and group of folder app_g3_models mine is u0_a65
-put the same off all files in your language folder(the file fr-FR or as your)
-restart your gear
sorry I'm french I hope they have not committed too many fault

Hey, it worked! After doing this, I can use Google Voice Typing even without an internet connection. Pretty nice.
I actually put the entire en-US folder in to a .tar file from my Note III, and then extracted it on the gear. Because of that, all my permissions and ownership stayed the same, so it just worked straight away.
Also, the permissions of my en-US folder and all files inside are -rw--------- (aka 600).
@silvermick27 thanks works for me for offline voice typing. Great find

I'm on a stock US S4 unrooted so I can't get the file. I really don't want to root it as I can't find a method for 4.3 that is as easy as the GG ROMs have been (that I trust). Does anyone have this file they can share?
