What Region code do you have, i think your language isn't supported. The SystemUI is from EURO-Open.
I hope you have a Backup from your original SytemUI. I'll editing first Post.

i flashed the portuguese 20A
A little reference where you got the battery icons from, would be nice though, because I made them originally for my mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1854210
And quite frankly: It was a pain in the ass to create 100 single battery icons

I'm usually not one to call somebody a liar, but in this case I have to.
All "your" battery icons are an exact match in font type, position of the numbers, pixelation (font antialiasing) and in byte size. Not to mention I created the red and yellow(ish) battery states by hand, which are not part of the default LG icon set and "yours" are of course the exact same (color and battery state position) as mine (the original JB files have other colors! oops). And of course it's the exact same custom font weight I used. Even if you chose to duplicate the results with the same font type and weight on purpose, it's impossible to get the exact same results with two different programs (I haven't used GIMP) in terms of file size AND font antialiasing. That just won't happen, no matter how hard you try.
Fact is: Those are the files I created. I really have no problems if somebody else wants to use them for their work - feel free to do so. But please mention where you got them, like the rules of XDA demand and of course stop lying about it.

Yes your're right, this are your Icons. Maybe my post Post were misunderstandable. I've tried to edit Taskbar to be transparent with GIMP, but no way. Also editing the xml Files didn't work. I didn't asked for your permissions and don't followed the Rules, because I thought it's for free use ...shame on me. I will delete all Files, if you wish to do so. Sorry for the inconvenience.
No need to delete them. Feel free to use the files. I just pointed out, that you should say where they came from. No harm done ...

VERY important: not all launchers handle this mod the same way!
In order to make it work, please note that:
ADWLauncher: works after unchecking "System Preferences" > "Wallpaper hack";
LauncherPro: works only with live wallpapers or with normal wallpapers, but you have to hide notification bar on "Appearance Settings" in LauncherPro.
Stock GB launcher: works, no issues.
Go Launcher EX: as LauncherPro users.

Hey sigurd_LU, any chance of making a 20% transparency mod?
Thanks!
Very kind of you to update this for all the plebs!
I can't get it to work with BlackIce 1.23 and Go Launcher though, unfortunately. It gives me a force-close every time.
By the way, Go launcher's menu selections are not the same as LauncherPro's...

I think although BlackIce is based on CM, the differences are big and this mod isn't compatible. Even if it wouldn't force-close: this replaces the whole SystemUI.apk which contains the status bar icons for example, so the whole BlackIce look would be changed as well.

Thx for this.

I don't know if it's exactly the same for your SystemUI, but here's how I've done it.
After decompiling the SystemUI.apk, go to smali\com\android\systemui\statusbar and open StatusBarService.smali with a text editor, for example Notepad++. Don't use the windows editor, it has problems with unix!
Search for const/4 v5, 0x2 and change it to const/4 v5, -0x3.
Then, go to res\drawable-hdpi and search for the following file: statusbar_background.9.png and edit it with Paint.NET, Photoshop or another programm that can handle transparency.
Here's for example my png for 50% transparency:
It looks solid here, but it's transparent, as you can see here:
Recompile afterwards, and you're done
Thanks, I'll try to do that this afternoon! I'll post back if it works.
---------- Post added at 02:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:31 PM ----------
Ok, the good news is it doesn't FC, but it's not transparent either. Sadly :-( If you have any more ideas, I'm all ears.
Well, either way, thank you very much for your time.
What launcher are you using? Maybe you forgot the specific settings, as stated in the first post.
Nah, I double checked with several launchers (ADW, Go, LauncherPro). :-/
Here's a quick screenshot of the edits:
The edge of the .png looked a little different from yours, if you are wondering why it's not identical to yours. I'm really confused that it doesn't do *anything* at all.
Your edits look good to me.
Maybe something went wrong while flashing..?
I did it manually, once over adb and once over ssh. Android is definitely using the modified file, the old one is in the same folder as SystemUI.apk.old and has a slightly different size. I'm on CM7.1 nightly (2.3.7), would that be a problem? There's (afaik) no stable for the SGS2 yet.
Maybe I did the (de)compiling wrong? Put SystemUI.apk in the appropriate folder, start batch script, select decompile. Go to extracted files and edit as seen above. Then restart the batch script and recompile. Say yes to "system apk?" and yes to "copy back as much as possible?" (or whatever it asked exactly, it certainly asked two things and I said yes to both^^).

This could be the problem! Say yes to the first question and no when it asks to copy over old files.
Hopefully it'll work now.
Recently I installed MIUI ROM for Galaxy Mini, but some icons are not original size. How can I set the original icons? I do not want to replace the png file ... Any idea ?!?!?!?

would be great if peetr__ can combine this with your toggles. and maybe the small navi buttons. I guess the codes are in the same files.
There is specified surface layer for status and navi bar. I'll try to understand it more.
But this is Rimmers work, I am late. We can include it only with his permission.
It's only about PhoneWindowManager.smali, the rest stays the same like on ICS.

So i guess we all "have to" use CMs.

That i know of, theres still no custom kernel for 4.4 on i9305.
So i guess we all "have to" use CMs.

Great rom, but my formatted in ext4 SD card is not recognized. Could you do something?
Thanks.
Edit: Sorry, I meant in exfat. Do I have to format to fat32?

Hello,
i have stupid question:
How can i add more Home Screens in that new Rom? Theres no "launcher" in Settings Menue.
I got kind of a general question:
My phone froze 3 times now, mostly when I switch to chrome browser
I'd like to provide a log, so how do I create a log after my screen freezes and won't turn on again after locking it
captiv lights still work after the freeze
Can someone be a sweetie and post a like to the logcat app and a guide please. Where are the settings to add stuff to the quick setting thingy in top right pull down
Thanks Guys

You can't add homescreens and place shortcuts after. New homescreens are automaticaly created when you drag new app shortcut or widgets, always on the right. (Left is dedicated to Google Now).

All CM features are not merged for now, as it is an unofficial build.

Just add whatever you want ( a widget, app ) and it automatically adds a new home screen.

Explain exactly what you need then because I misanderstood you.
How much storage should this ROM and the full PA Gapps take after flashing them?
I have about 3GB less free space compared to the stock 4.1.2 ROM.

This Mod remove .odex file, so you have to download Odex SystemUI (included in downloads) again and flash it before flashing my other mods
Awesome thanks! I'm back up and running. Totally missed it in the OP.
Amazing, all in one for all I need
I just want to make sure, I already have your centre clock mod installed. I just want the battery mod. Can I just flash it or do I also have to flash that odex file too?

If you flashed battery mod you will lose center clock, so flash battery & clock mod
No need to flash .odex again

I cant seem to get the battery mod to work. Every time I flash it, I get a SYSTEM UI CRASH when I need to input my pin. (My nexus 6p is encrypted.). I have to go into recovery and flash the odex file you had to get it to boot again with no SYSTEM UI CRASH.

I have the same issue, downloaded 3 times to make sure it is not a corrupted file, still no joy. System UI crash when asking for a pin on phone startup.
Hi Guys, all mods works fine on my device which is decrypted, in other threads users also reported problems with encrypted devices
Do you mind posting guide? I find the original 3Minit threads confusing. Thanks for all you've done! :good:

I've looked at it again. You can actually have it any color you want but you have to pick a color. So, unless the top of your lock screen wallpaper is a solid color and you can match it, it will show (the statusbar color, not the clock).
