[Q] ebay purchased Tmobile g1\HTC Touch Pro (Sprint) locked for non-USA usage

Hi,
I purchased T-mobile G1 and HTC Touch Pro (Sprint) from ebay. Both are locked. For me to use outside USA with other carrier whats my next step to unlock it ?
I do not have T-mobile service nor Sprint. If I find a friend/colleague who has T-mobile/Sprint service can he use his Sim card to unlock the phone ? do you need Sim Card to unlock the phone ?
is there article explaining it like whats exactly involved in providing information to carrier\service provider and is there any embarrassment questions which one needs to prepare for.

Can anyone tell me how to SIM unlock my HD7?
Also... once SIM unlocked will I still receive my updates? The phone is from Bell and I want to use it on Rogers.

Ok... Allow me to rephrase my question a bit and see if anyone has any responses to give...
I know that I can purchase an unlock code to SIM unlock my HD7 (currently locked to Bell and I want to use it on Rogers) but...
Is there any sort of "dev hack" that will do this for free as opposed to having to buy a code or is buying a code the ONLY way to SIM unlock my device?

HTC One Unlock ???

Hi....
I have got a Sprint HTC One as a gift.......I was planning to get it unlocked thru' one of the Sim Unlock Sites.......
The Question:
After getting it Unlocked.....with the HTC One work on All GSM Networks in India ??? or will it still be stuck on CDMA /WCDMA networks ????
Any info will be highly appreciated.....as if it will be Stuck in CDMA mode only then I will prefer to return the Gift and let them Use it in US....
Looking forward to an early reply as the Guests will be departing shortly.

The Phone should already be sim unlocked for Out of the USA.... Just put your sim card in it and see if it works or not...

I am thinking of buying an htc one sprint version from ebay. It says it needs to be activated on sprint. Can we unlock it without activating it on sprint?

Is there a way to use HTC One M7 (Model PN07200) on T-Mobile or AT&T?

Hi Everyone!
My nephew has a HTC One M7 (Model: PN07200) and I believe is for Sprint carrier. However it has a SIM slot, so I was wondering if it possible to unlock it and use a T-Mobile or AT&T SIM card with it?
I always thought CDMA phones had no SIM card, so that's why I wonder if it possible. Maybe installing a T-Mobile radio? Is it even possible to use it with other carriers?
I've searched online, but haven't found any way to do it. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
