Hi all,
I would like to ask you all about how you all activate multiple windows in stock browser besides the default one.
My note is rooted.

This one right? It allows some apps to use multi-instances, but only pro (paid) version has that feature..

samsung multi window manager pro from play store will answer your question. it Open multiple instances of some apps (This is limited by whether or not a particular app permits multiple instances...I've yet to find an internet browser that allows this, however there are many other useful apps that do allow it)

This has been my only real gripe with touchwiz, didn't even know there was an app to rectify the issue, so thanks for info.

You can have the apps alphabetically in TouchWiz - just choose list view.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Yes Appzorter is a very good app, you can also use TW launcher from at&t note which has this capability. You can find 'how to' in one of the threads under GT-N7000 themes and apps
Yea i noticed it did it with the list view, I am just so used to grid. Regardless, appzorter works perfectly. Thanks again!

Is there a difference?

Chrome only works on ICS. Opera works in both gb and ICS.
Chrome is extremely fast, but in beta stage so it has some bugs. But nothing major.
Opera has loads of functions and works very well but is meant for really good data connections..

I tried both of them and they seem to be the same...
"ICS Browser +" has got the stock android AOSP design.
"Internet" is the Samsung Touchwiz version of the stock ICS Browser (and got some annoying bugs.....in my opinion)
So the "ICS Browser+" is better in my opinion
Nothing beats Dolphin browser with its lastpass plugin for me

Is there an app or a mod which can "multitask" in the same way as windows 8 or the Samsung Note 2 e.g. two windows alongside each other? Would be useful on such a big screen.

Yes, but it is only available on webOS... its called Glympse. I believe there were people trying to integrate a similar capability called Cornerstone, but I don't believe there was much success. I' d suggesting Googling both for more info.

Did some googling, it only appears on old CM9 builds, no chance of it being put on CM10?

Instead of showing off what you've found... How about sharing the knowledge, your post was no help at all to the OP:
Most "floating" apps can be purchased from this Dev.
Wasn't difficult to help, was it?
Thank you, way more helpful than the previous post which did I must say leave me confused.

I strongly recommend you find another source for your apps.
Unless you are building a database with android virusses intentionally.

Maybe there are too many apps running on backgound. It eats your ram and cpu all the time. I use Greenify to help my phone become faster. Just learn more about greenify. Give it a try. Free on Play Store.
Try disabling all animations on developer options, then try to root(if didn't do that yet) then remove bloatware and try to install greenify and hibernate unnecessary apps and also you can try Ram manager after installing busybox
