At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I have to ask: Is the battery in this ROM better than the other 4.3 ROMs. I loved the ones i tried, but the 4.2.2 roms have far superior battery life. An outdated phone is far better than a dead one!

It was ported from omni rom.

@timpohladthomas - I flashed 10/24 nightly and have issues with com.android.phone (like on 10/24 Carbon)
On first boot OSE said next (see on screenshot)

GSM works nice in the ROM, but you can configure it only once - every next time you will have FC of mobile network settings ...
but with working GSM

Best battery life I've gotten from 4.3 yet. I didn't think anything would get me off of PAC but this my new DD.

I would have to agree. I was averaging about 4.5 hours of screen-on time and I've been plugging the phone in at about 20-30%. This was only on WiFi, with no cell signal since I'm out of country.

I am getting mad reboots. Should I reflash and if so what other steps should I take once in recovery

I was to about every 5 minutes it would reboot I went to the previous build and no problems been an awesome ROM great battery life

7-30 is unofficial.. I'm using it now so I'll try enabling Omni and check it out.. Churchy I should give you credit too. Used your thread as a template! Lol.

Maybe a dumb question but what is quickboot mode. This is the first I've seen it in any ROMs dev options.

Thanks this rom runs really good, and has a lot of features . usually I hear about a dozen times a day complaints my gf has about not enough features or something is not working. But haven't had any yet... So thanks for releving the headache lol

Tried enabling ART, it goes through the upgrade and app conversion, but after that, I get continuous 'unfortunately, <app> cannot start', where <app> is a fairly long list (incallui, weather, and so on...)

Anybody else screen come on when you pick up your phone? I'm on the official 7-30 Build and can't find where to turn that option off.

That's pocket mode. I'm not on this ROM right now so I'm not entirely sure where the option is. Look in the lock screen settings and un check pocket mode.

IR doesn't work in most AOSP roms.
Secondly, I've been trying to build but with error. I messaged Tim on hangouts and he's gonna look into it.
Don't rush people. No one is doing **** specifically for you. No one gets paid for this so chill the **** lax.

Great ROM, solid performance. Camera didn't crash for the first few hours, but it eventually did and got the"can't connect to camera" message. Is there a way to fix that without restarting the device?

Any chance we see this beautiful ROM as officially nightly? And how to change the DPI setting without xposed?

Pacman for S5 currently depends heavily on a Cyanogenmod with is still WIP, It's not that hard i think to make it an official nightly, but it needs some modifications and added elements, wont take long, but i do need to learn about the process first.

its the first build I can't make a changelog for it. I'll do a feature list later but theres alot

@Niropa no option comesup for allow or deny. Its look like they deny it self. But i check on cpu z. Says my phone rooted yes. Any ideas??
