Pressing 'OK' after typing passcode - HTC Incredible S

I'm running CyanVivoX and was wondering if there is any way to not have to push the 'OK' button after typing in my passcode at the lockscreen. Like on an iPhone. Thanks

I can launch it when hone key is pressed and I'm on PA v0.3 with navigation bar on....you should really be searching PA thread if you're having trouble..

Yeah, I can change a key press of it to launch recents instead of going to home but that isn't what I'm looking for.
I want to remap long press functionality which is a more involved process.
Thank you.

I'm trying to get this to work as well. I'm trying to map it to the menu button. All threads I can find, tutorials included, are remapping to single press too. I've been checking out the key layouts folder in system/usr but I can't find anything referring to long presses. Have you made any progress?
If I remember correctly for the HW long press the DPI of the handset needs to be set to 'Phone' rather then 'Tablet' if you are using the latest version of PA.

N7000XXLRK keyboard issue.

I upgraded to this Rom recently and although like the keyboard the little microphone button for voice typing is gone. When I activated voice typing in the settings it says "Press microphone button or drag finger across keyboard." Microphone button doesn't exist and dragging longer across doesn't do anything.
I loved having the little Mic button and the button to activate handwriting recognition on the keyboard.
Anyone know how to at least get the voice typing to work??

Is it just the stock keyboard? If so I am guessing you've checked settings option to enable it?
Maybe you can re-flash the Stock 4.0.3 Keyboard if it is on there, I don't use Stock so not too sure..
Yeh im using the stock keyboard which is actually very nice to use but its missing the little mic button to activate voice typing and the button to activate handwriting recognition.

Figured it out. Long press the settings button and it brings up the additional keyboard features.

When we keep the home button active we can open google now so I eant to know if we can change this for a other app like phone or whatever. Can we use it like a shortcut?

Is long-pressing home very much preferable to the default way of doing this (double-tapping home)?

I my self would definitely prefer a long press rather than having to double tap. Sometimes I miss the second two and just go home but would have no problems with a long press.

Any solution to this? I'd like to make long-press home as the multi-tasking view and disable double-press home entirely (don't care about google now).
On the new 4.2.2 long press is now the menu button, double tap home is the recent apps like before and press, hold, and swipe up is the Google now

Yea I just saw this when I flashed to a 4.2.2 ROM. The thing I want to disable is the double-tap home button as it makes the single-press home a bit laggy since it has to wait to see if the second button press of home is registered or not. I would rather the phone just instantly goes home when I press home which requires the double-tap home function to be disabled which is why I'd like to rebind the task-switcher to something else like long-press home.

It doesn't make it laggy, as it doesn't wait for the second tap. You can still do the second tap once it gets to the homescreen. If you think it's slow, you should see the Samsung Galaxy phones with their REAL homebutton lag

It does... this is exactly what I'm relating it to. On my S3 it had double-press home to go to the S-Voice app. Once I disabled that feature, the home button would be instant on the S3. Otherwise, it would be "waiting" for the 2nd press. It's the same thing with the HTC One... at least it feels like it.
And no, I can't still do the 2nd tap when I get to the home screen...

I can some people store more electrical charge in their fingers, guess you are lacking that 'zap'
In all seriousness, I don't have any lag and you can disable the double tap by editing the framework.jar

Lol... well I feel the vibration feedback of the 2nd tap but it just acts as me pressing the home screen again, not part of the 2nd press from the 1st. I've tried timing it very closely but I still can't get it to go home and then bring up the task switcher. I can just get it to go home, then go home again, or get the task switcher.
Disabling it is only half the battle... I still want to bind the task-switcher to long press but I lack the know-how to do it lol. Thought there would be something built into modaco's framework to do it but I don't see that level of button customization there yet.

Well you have to do it by placing your finger in the HTC logo on the bottom, and slide it up on the screen. Did you do that correctly perhaps?

[Q] How to exit out of apps with null?

I installed flappy bird on my gear (ha ha) and once I start it up there is no way to exit except to reboot the unit! I suspect there is some shortcut or gesture for this in null that I don't know about. Does anyone know?

Doesnt back (Swipe down) work to exit the app?
It does not. I assume it is because the application has captured all of the swipe events but I don't know that for sure.
There is something in gear manager that says Double press power to do "X". In X you can pick any of your apps like double press power to open Nova Launcher. However, when I double press power it doesn't do squat except for turn my screen off and on.
I had the same problem. Use 2 fingers to tap on the screen. That will open running apps. Then swipe left or right to close. Hope that helps

Pie control work also...

What is pie control?
Two finger tap brings up my battery/brightness/volume control. Not closing anything from there.
Have you tried to tap n hold for a second? I'm not sure how to bring up battery etc. Mine must be different.

Ok just read the user manual. Double tap with 2 fingers brings up brightness volume etc. Single tap with 2 fingers should open up running apps.

A long press on the Nova home screen would bring up the thing to add an app or a widget.
