hello xperia Z owners
i was wondering what is the best launcher for the xperia Z and i've another Q too which is why there is no notifications on the lockscreen why do i've to unlock my phone scroll down the notifications to see them why ???? can someone answer me that.
I use Nova Prime. It's fast and gets the job done.
Nova prime: +1 Flawless!

Apex or Nova

wrong thread, sorry
Nova - Stable, Smooth, Funtionality, Similar to stock (better than Apex cos it has less glitches, i myself tried apex first then switched to Nova)
TSF - Animations:good: , Smooth and also the best launcher to show off with , use it with the full screen mod looks awesome
Buzz - If u want to change the look of ur homescreen frequently without breaking a sweat
I miss gestures in the stock launcher, but other than that it's pretty nice

The deal breakers for me in stock launcher are 1.the number of rows and 2.no lock for the icons. I like them stuck to the ground.
Additionally, Nova is smooth as silk.

I'm using stock as I can't find anything wrong with it honestly... the drawer is not the best, but I rarely use it. Otherwise I always thought Apex was the best choice for me. Tried Nova, but I wasn't convinced to switch from Apex.

i used nova before but rite now im using TST shell and i think its the best launcher on the store
I have purchased Nova Prime but after using it for over 1 year I was looking for something fresh. I really like Chemeleon Launcher its fast and simple and the widgets look good. You can also use 3rd party widgets etc and accessing apps is very quick. It lacks a lot of features of other launchers and does not offer as much customization but I like it the way it is.

Is there? Not a theme for ADW etc. A launcher that will have a dock to put on 4 apps, and the ability to change the icons myself on the desktop(huge icons, without having to add desktop visualizer widgets), as well as putting all the apps in the app drawer on the desktop.
is there? Or am I asking for too much?

Try Go Launcher EX. It uses folders just like MIUI thus you can do the all apps in a folder.
Or if you feel adventurous you could root your phone and use the MIUI rom. most iphone like ROM and interface I've seen.
Try "MIUI.ADW iPhone Launcher" it has all of those qualities you wanted.
search for ICLONE app on market

I have rooted it and installed the Diet Gingerbread. The problem is, it's an HTC Magic, and I don't think the MIUI rom is available for that phone. ((
Try vLauncher, it is pretty close to what you described.
Or try Espier Launcher

I'm using xperia launcher v1.0 that been ported to work on all devices.
(see my siggy)
It's works great! very smooth.
only 600KB in size, not resource hungry like LG Home.
that's why I'm hoping someone can port this.
I don't need the xperia widgets, only the launcher.
you can try the older ver on attachment.
It work's great with O2X (and any other devices with 480x800 resolution)
looks really good

A new version of my Widgets on Google Play!
All the widgets work on any android device running 2.1 Eclair and up. Using on ICS you'll get widget previews, with JellyBean and up you also can put any widget to the lockscreen!
Version 3.0 brings compatibility with JellyBean lockscreen! You can place any of the included widgets there!
Check all the necessary info in real-time with these HD widgets!
See the remaining space on your SD card, Battery charge and Current time right on your homescreen! Choose from several, constantly added clock faces!
Several different battery widgets to choose from!
ICS compatible. Runs well with TSF Launcher, Launcher Pro, Go Launcher Ex, SPB Shell 3D, Trebuchet, Nova Launcher and stock launcher. Tested with different ROMs, like Cyanogenmod CM7, CM9, CM10 and others.

Bandwidth monitor would be a perfect addition, I don't know if that's possible without root access though.
That would be, but that would be more complex task to do. I think, that the root is not required to do this.

New version out on Google Play

Hi,
Lollipop is very nice, but I don't like the white app gallery and also white app group folder.
So, I am thinking to use custom launcher. It should be possible to have complete black for those launcher part.
Anyone can recommend a good custom launcher which is very close to the default original launcher? Launcher which doesn't drain battery, light and doesn't lag.
I tried Nova and Apex before, both are quite heavy with many additional features which I don't need.
Thanks
Lucid launcher isn't like any launcher I've ever used but I love it it uses less battery than any I've tried and is very smooth try it out.
Nova is my favorite, it's very customizable, easy to use and updated all of the time.
Nova and it's consistent updates...
Definitely look into APUS Launcher. Fast, extremely small, and beautiful launcher.
Nova, no compromises
Nova is by far the best answer for you.
I like Nova and use it, but I just wish it actually worked like Kit Kat or Lollipop? Adding widgets, or objects to the homescreen brings up a Gingerbread like list instead of the more beautiful Google Now, Touchwiz, etc launchers.
I have had some much correspondence with them about updating it and they still can't understand what I am trying to say. How hard can it be??
Old way (Nova, Apex, etc...)

New way.. (Google Now, Touchwiz, etc..)
I wish some of the 3rd party launchers supported the dedicated Google Now page. I used to use Nova but I have to stick with stock until someone figures that out.
Nova no doubt. Hell I have been using it for so long I actually bought Nova Prime to get the most out of it!
Nova Prime.
My favorite will always be GO Launcher!
It's the most customizable that I've found, and that side dock is a game changer, i feel like i'm rocking a Note Edge, lol.
My desktop consist of one single screen, with ZERO app shortcuts on it, but dual bottom dock, and side dock enabled, as well as waterfall-vertical app drawer.
Nova for the gestures. Going to need it with that much real estate

If you play with gestures on Nova Prime you can get it to act a lot like Google Now Launcher.
