Also when I charge my phone over night, it reaches 100% in the morning right? When you leave it there for a couple more hours it goes down even though it is still plugged in.

That setting is talking about 'sleep', I don't think your phone would really be sleeping while being charged, I think its supposed to work without A/C plugged in.
Batteries have a safety system, when charge reaches 100% your phone won't keep charging until it gets below a percentage, also with wifi on It won't charge quickly, you might even get your phone losing juice even while plugged in, thats due to some rogue apps that keeps syncing or using your wifi somehow, keep control of your app's services, use gemini app manager, an old version of it, the new version requires donation :good:

Amazing Battery Life on .246 with Extended Battery

I installed .246 and the "Sonofskywalker3's Blackhole Bionic 1.0 Ics-247 Base By T3" Rom from DroidRZR.
I have to say my battery compared to 223 is amazing.
I've gone 24 hours now and am only at 50% after normal use. I text and use Facebook and web browse, but no games or videos.
Overnight, I turned data off, but that was it.
I'm impressed and happy

Yeah your Screen usage is only 13 percent which means you dont use your phone at all. Your display takes up the most juice more then anything. Even letting your phone just sit there without checking it used 5 percent of screen. It came on for notifications only. So you see, if you're just texting and checking Facebook it would probably use up more then 13 percent. I have a 4700 mah extended battery too. not using your phone doesn't really help us in battery life stats.

No.This is not normal!
Did u charged the phone continuously for 3 hours?? Until the 100% battery icon came?
"Yes Iam a Gangnam Style Fan......
Actually who's not ...?"
yep
until it say that the battery is charged and i should disconnect the charger
@OP wipe battery stats from cwm and use your phone till it goes to complitely dry and switch off after that charge your phone to 100% continuously without break the charge even single min. till the notification shows.
And see the difference..

[Q] Battery temp of 140??

So here I am casually checking GSam when I see this alarming graph:

To me, if this is accurate, it's terrifying! While this may have been happening I wasn't using the phone. 3 background apps, not charging. The phone is running the stock system. I also DID NOT notice a freakish heatsource in my pocket... It's been back to normal since so far.
Has anyone else seen an error like this in GSam, or maybe seen their battery temp legitimately go up to 140? Should I be concerned?

Your battery dropped precipitously right around that time. Check the others radio button to see what else may have been happening at the time. 140 seems awful high...it's entirely possible that a sensor went crazy for a few minutes...

I wouldn't worry about if unless you were using the phone and felt the temp go that high. Reminds me of my first 3 samdung captivates.. lol. Those literally got too hot to hold to my ear; somewhere in the 120F + range

Yeah I've been hoping it was just a GSam error, and thankfully the highest the temp it's been since is 40ish. Though it's weird that an error would show up over that time frame and peak shape.
You're right, the charge did drop a lot during that time. I checked out the other statistics and my phone signal dropped then, but not the minimum. Nothing else I saw was going on (screen, call, gps, active) ...
Here's hoping it stays good I guess.

Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 T815 battery failure or probably motherboard issues

Hi
i guess i've got a major problem.
while normally using my galaxy tab s2 9.7 t815 it start becaming really hot in the center-right part and battery charge fallen down very quickly. While this was happening I turned it off (i mean shut down/power off, not the only black screen) to let it cool down. Even when off it was always very hot and when i turned it on half hour later battery was something around 20-30% lower. Since it was not charging either, I downloaded Gsam battery monitor just to discover that the ongoing drainage cannot be stopped by the charge: without the charger connected, gsam said a little more than -2000ma, with the charger around -1800 (figures where not stable).
So battery goes from 90% to 0% in less than 2 hours i guess. Now i'm not able to turn it on because it doesn't charge (it always stays at 0%) and it turn off immediately.
Today i've opened it and the component that gets hot is the one between battery and sim/sd location (hope the image added below works). Checked and unpluggled/replugged every connector nothing changed.
Tablet is rooted. I've never used it hard: i use it mostly to surf the web, email, few minor apps, no games at all.
Thanks for your help

Battery stats not showing in full?

So my settings app doesnt tell me what drains my battery in full. Neither does any other battery app like gsam.

As you can see my phone is at 93% but my data report in here shows only 1% missing per app there. It doesnt add up to a 7% loss. I havent restarted my phone since charge so my stats haven't reset. Any ideas? I feel like im getting worse battery life than before.

Since these are round to full percentages, it's most probably rounding error.
They never add up... For example I now have 55℅ battery left but the report adds up to only 27℅. I have yet to find a clear explanation about what these percentages actually represent.
