End when connect phone with usb cable to computer, is charging light on, does computer recognize phone? If don't, there is nothing you can do, unfortunately, as I know.

HELP! Galaxy S Wont Start, no Download Mode, No Recovery Mode

This is my 1st post on the forum, I think that's someone can help me,
I have( had ) a Galaxy S with JVO firmware, and I tried to flash it with Odin, this is not the 1st time I do it, but this time I've got an error, so when verifying the TAR file used, I discovered that I used a Galaxy S2 firmware , so automatically I unplugged the cable, and removed the battery, and when I try to turn it on, or launch recovery mode, or even the download mode, nothing happen, and the worst thing ever is when I put it on the electricity sector, nothing happen, the screen steel black
Can any one help me please?
Oh dear?
Maybe you need to get a Download mode Jig?
someone else may be able to answer weather or not that will help.

Me too, I had the same issue few days ago, but I haven't tried the JIG thing yet. But having seen some doing it on Youtube, gave me hope.....
I sent mine off to Samsung, I blamed it on kies, because if it won't turn on, enter download nor recovery, theirs no way they can tell you've been tampering with it, so they fixed mine for free under warranty
A jig won't work if your phone won't turn on as its only for soft bricked phones where you see the phone, caution, and PC symbol, the only thing you can do is send it off for repair, I bought a jig for 9.99 and anticipated it till it arrived and didn't work, you need to send it off bud, theirs nothing you nor anyone else can do mate :-( sorry :-(

I just got the same problem too..
I don't know where to order JIG..
maybe I'll go for Samsung service center, but my phone not include warranty..

It should still be recognized in odin with that screen and flashable. Reflash with full battery and ensure file was okay and not corrupt.

Yeah if the com port is yellow in odin just try again (but right after you turn it on and connect it) I've been there before and its recoverable.

Right after battery inserted? You might reinstall the drivers too? Keep trying. Clean the usb port on the phone, try a different odin etc.

First of all, can your phone correctly boot into bootloader mode? If yes, you may have a chance to make it back to alive!!

Xperia T ON / OFF button not working?

Hello,
I have a Sony Xperia T LT30P.
The phone functions all correctly expect the on / off power button does not work.
So if the phone sleeps then I have to press the camera button then the home key to get back to home screen.
Just wondering, would I be able to root this phone or not, since I cannot turn it off completely...
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
