Invisishield

No sign of an invisishield for our HD2's yet.
Had one for both my Touch HD and my IPhone 3GS and darn't use my HD2 properly until I get one for it! lol.
Just posting in the hope people will badger Zagg (the makers) into making one for us asap

I wouldn't be that worried about using the screen without a protector.
Normally I'm a strong advocate in using screen protectors but the glass screen is phenomenally strong.

tis not for me mate , more so for my mates who seem to like using their fingernails on a HTC device - lord knows why?

I dont see the point of the invisible shield, especially the full body kit. The idea is to protect the phone, but just the act of fitting the kit ruins the phone. They look horrible and peal off and sometimes areas bond so hard you scratch the phone removing it (which you need to because they look awful!)

If its done right it looks and feels right mate. Screen protectors are available as far as I'm aware but not the full body shield.
When you've got 2 kids running around itching to watch cbeebies you'll know why its an essential requirement for your new toy - my daughter managed to scratch my Touch HD face down on stone when she got her mitts on it last time! -

Managed to damage the casing of my HD2 today thanks to the liccle un's!!

Usually I will aim for Bestskinsever instead of Zagg, it is way cheaper, and there are same old material and quality!

As I first tought that I'll buy an Samsung omnia2 ( but now I comand a HTC HD2!!) I command on Zacc USA an invisible shield for the O2. It was more than one month ago.... 5mn after they took the money on my CB, and never sent the confirmation mail ( Happily I copy the screen!) One week kater.. no news and the shield was still not sent (they say "sent one or two opened days) ... I wrotte then a mail: no answer... I call them with their chat and suddenly I received then an answer for my mail!... they said they send it from england (I'm in france) and there is a strike of the post in england...and anyway they'll take the money wonly when they send it!... but the money was already taken!...
One week later the shield was still not sent!... I call them again.... and suddenly in the 5 mn it was written that the shield was sent!.... now 2 weeks later my shield is so invisible that I still haven't seen it! .........
.I'm going to call them again but I find they are really not serious!........ and it is directly from the factory!!!!!! It's the last time I'll buy something there!!!!!!!

Resetting phone with invisible shield ???
If we put on the invisible shield, I think we need to peel off to remove the battery cover...as some time my HD2 stops responding...and I can even do a soft reset with the application that I have installed...the only way I found is to reset using the RED button behind the battery cover to bring it back to work...

That's made me have second thoughts about the Invisible Shield which I was close to buying. Do you really have to peel the back off to replace the battery or the MicroSD card? Sounds like you must do.

Screen Protectors

I picked up the screen protectors that are sold through Sprint. They were $14.99and there were three in the pack.
I wanted an anti-flare protector and I have to say I have not been disappointed. I am very pleased with them so far.

My local BB didn't have any either... but they weren't sold out. The guy told me they hadn't gotten any in yet. I didn't find it on BB's website either.
Last week I sent a support ticket to Zagg via their website asking when it would be available. No answer yet. =/
Does anyone know if the Zagg for the Evo 4G was available in retail stores right when the phone launched? Or did it take a few weeks?

i'll be picking up an invisibleshield as soon as they're out. i'm not too worried about my screen getting scratched since i dedicate one of my pants pockets to it

Best buy does have them. I went to one today to get the zagg and a case. They at first said no to both. I said that's lame, you're usually right on top of that kind of stuff. I looked and found the zaggs but I needed to use the phone the rest of the day and putting it in and out of my pocket wouldn't be good because the sp needs to dry without any major disruptions to the process. I got the blue hard case with the rubber back at sprint and will get the zagg very soon.

Rather odd considering I just found this:

My previous BestBuy search failed since it doesn't say "Evo" in the product title/description. But it's definitely not a screen protector for the HTC Shift ultra-portable PC from 2008.

I got this phone on the 6th and nobody had any anti-glare protectors, which i absolutely love on my phone. So i went to who sold them and searched out the best sized one. Came to the anti-glare Droid 2, just need to cut the volume cutout off and its a good fit. Just covering the screen, not the buttons.

paid for one on bb.com and picked it up in store since i knew nobody would know wtf it is. put it on, i either really suck at putting these on or they're insanely hard to get perfect.

I tried one over a year ago and it was such a pain that I decided to pay them to do it. Depending on the person, they can get it better than most other people can. I had them mess up one on my epic and they just pulled another one off the shelf and redid it. Not flawless but pretty damned good and much better than I could have done.

well i'll let it settle for a day or two and see if microbubbles and the liquidy look underneath the protector go away. if not i might just be taking this thing off, it's more trouble than it's worth and i bought it with a gift card anyway.

I've used Zagg and Skinomi. Skinomi hands down.

i was just about to ask how the Skinomi TechSkins are, amazon has them for 10 bucks (well for pre-order) and was thinking of giving them a try, i usually use the Zagg protectors but am willing to try something new

The TechSkin is about the same as far as application goes. Where they differ is the feel and resistance to dust.

I applied the Sprint anti-glare protector, and it looked horrible. I know some of them take a little time to git rid of air bubbles and stuff, but it looked bad and I accidentally messed one corner up when applying. So I put one of the regular protectors from the same pack on and it has been fine ever since.
I do wish it covered more of the glass, not just the part of the glass with the screen under it.

I bought some of those screen protectors from Sprint also. I'm pretty good with putting them on, so that wasn't a problem at all. But wow, I put the anti-glare screen protector on and it made the screen look horrible. It really takes the "crispiness" out of the screen. When I got home, I immediately took that one off and put one of the regular screen protectors on that came in the sprint screen shield package.

I put the anti-glare protector on pretty much as soon as I started playing with the phone. After reading your guys comments I decided to take it off.
Man what a difference!

First of all, I feel like I got ripped off, this case is nothing but annoying, the flappy door always get in the way even when its flipped around to the back,
you think they would atleast have put a magnet on the door so it has another purpose as a smart cover, I feel like they rushed it, and it's barely worth 10$, let alone 19.99$+Shipping. I would rather have a 10$ leather or tpu case from ebay.
I wanted to state my opinion and get the forums opinion, how do you feel about it?​

Not trying to be, but when you spend almost 30$ on something that is worth 7.99$, and is nothing but a bother, yea, im a tad bit mad, but not too much, just got annoyed and decided to make a rage thread about the case.

Not saying its trash but certainly isn't worth the price (prob worth like $15 shipped? Maybe $10 and $15-20 if it had a sleep function)

i saw a video review of it on Youtube a couple weeks ago and it looked cheap. Reminded me of a TPU case with a flap.

I'd buy it off you for $15 shipped.

Overall I like it, EXCEPT for one really annoying flaw: The hinge is WAY too stiff and it keeps trying to close itself if you fold it behind the device.

Hm, make it 19$, and ill ship it to you, and thats me loosing like 8-9$ in a day.

I'm surprised anyone bought it. The first time I looked at the Nexus 7 I quickly looked for accessories for it on the Google Play website, looked at the cover ... said NO, looked at the extra power adapter, said NO for the second time.
Everyone knows there would be a flood of covers and other things for the device in a short while.

It's a pos ripoff. Much better out there at half the price.

Maybe I should put some Elmers glue on mine, and sprinkle some glitter on it, or put some crazy eyes on it.

In hindsight (being what it is), Asus admitted that more of these sold than expected. The price reflects a premium on brand, and it was very plain what these were going to be like from the pictures. They looked like basic silicone with no added features, and they are. Asus said nothing about the sleep feature of the Nexus 7. There was no reason to believe that their cover would take advantage of it.
Had I bought one of these, I also would feel ripped off. Not by Asus or Google, but by my inability to hang on to my $20 based on the facts at hand.

Actually I kind of liked how it looked from the pictures - what the pictures don't show is how badly it handles trying to put the flap behind the device.

The look is nice, but what you bring up is what I immediately thought when I saw it for the first time. There's nothing to hold the cover back and it's not hinged in any way. Asus even had pictures of it splayed out on a flat surface. A video would have made it apparent for sure, and like I say... I could have been wrong at the time. I simply put my bet on the other color.

Did you watch the numerous video reviews on this forum that said the cover sucked balls before you bought it?

Does anyone know where I can purchase this case? I've tried every AT&T in my area and in the Seattle area and I cannot find anyone with this case in stock for purchase.

I will call at&t directly after I cancel my Verizon order for the wrong case. I'll let you know what happens.....
I am on the phone with AT&T and they can NOT find this case in their system/inventory....it's so annoying. If we had Verizon here in Anchorage, I would take back this phone and go with the Verizon variant. I spoke with an AT&T rep who is calling all the stores within a hundred miles to see if she can locate one for me. When she calls me back, I will update this post.

Try some T Mobile Stores as well, I know they give one for free maybe they have some in stock early before the phone release.

I just searched all over google search and NOTHING!!! Sucks cus i always have a case and screen protector literally the instant i take my device out the box. When i saw this case i fell in love, perfect for me at the gym with that little window music player. Just tap tap and change track, lol! Only place i've found this sold is on ebay in S. Korea for $79.99, not worth half that price imo for what the case is actually made out of. Costs probably $5 to make this damn case and sells for $79.99, yeah no deal!

A bit off topic, but while the Verizon rep was trying to figure out what the G2 even was, I tried on this case in the store and was severely disappointed in how cheap it felt.
My main issues are that nothing holds the flap closed so it gets caught on my pocket pulling it in and out and the hinge is the cheapest parts of the entire case, so it "shifts" on the phone. I can't explain it much better than that, but the window cover just sort of "flaps around."
Just thought I would share so you don't loose too much sleep trying to track it down.

Best buy now shows the window case online but its not available anywhere yet. Hopefully this means they are expecting some because I have been looking since purchase also

It was my understanding that LG wasn't releasing this case the same time the phone was released... Hence why everyone is having such problems finding it.
Best Buy said it wasn't available in any stores yet, but I did just order it from online, and they say it will ship tomorrow... So, I think that is your best best. The only have the black color available though, but they do have it for all the carriers, including VZW .

Anyone try the aftermarket quickwindow case linked below by Coverbot? I may....also doubles as a stand....hmmmmm

T mobile sent me one free with my phone. I strongly advise against using this case without a screen protector.
The metal banding around the inside of the window scratched my screen. Granted the scratch is barely visible and it takes some effort to see but I imagine it would only get worse from there so I stopped using it. Anyone want mine?

Thanks for this information. This case is not going to be for me. I'll try to sell mine for a few bucks mine when Sprint ships the G2.

I've been using this case for two weeks now and noticed today that my screen is scratched. And the scratches are visible :/
I wrote to LG about that and I'm waiting for the answer.

Unfortunately they haven't. I am sick and tired of waiting, so on Monday I will return the phone and the case to my mobile operator with a reclamation.

just ordered the bugdroid from amazon....will have to check out these others too. One thing I love about cruzerlite, their cases just get better and better with each rls.

My Bugdroid came today and it's going back. It was advertised as having button protection and it simply has cut outs. Not sure what type of "button protection that is but not as advertised.

Good luck with the return dude. Last time (first and last) I dealt with them I went back and forth for 6 weeks over a return just to be told in the end it was "now too long past the sale date" - yet I emailed them first the day I got the cases.
Please write back and let us know how it turns out.

@Amazon handles returns almost instantly, that's why I deal with them!

could have been the mail dude.. i lose buttons in the mail all the time
and lack of sleep if effecting me

Sorry to hear of your issues but I deal with Amazon partly due to their return process. I buy a lot of things and return many items to them all the time. Never had one issue. In this case, the description on their site is inaccruate. They never asked any questions and sent me a free return shipping label. They will even have UPS pick it up from me but my wife is always out shopping so I just have her drop it off.
Now, when dealing with merchants that are not Amazon fullfilled, that can be a different story. I typically avoid ordering items not fulfilled by Amazon.

Ya I do now too, learned my lesson. Thankfully it was a cheap one. I ended up finding this case on Amazon for $2.95 while the 2 colored options were $15. Next day they raised the price though. Nice case, comes with a belt clip/holster - even the clip on the holster folds backwards and words as a kickstand, pretty cool imo. (Case has a kickstand too, I came from using Evo's with em built it)

I also use their case for my Google Nexus 7, not a complaint to be had about either

I finally broke down and went with the Black UAG.
I really like the case I have now but know it offers very little protection. I tend to drop my phone a few times. If you want minimal protection this case might work. If the back were totally clear, I'd like it more. It is a soft TPU case but fits very well and has button protection.

If only the BugDroid had button protection, I may have kept it but again, I think I need more protection than the thin TPU cases provide.
