i have 2 batteries one is new one other one is old one.. whenever i replace my batteries (interchange). my phone got stuck on Samsung logo than i have to restore backup or flash rom again.. i always used to change the batteries in switched off condition only (first i switch off my mobile than replace).. Any solution guys ??
Note --- I never faced this problem in CM roms...
i am facing this problem in every tw roms and in every kernel belongs to tw roms

You face this problem on what tw roms? you couldnt have tried "every"
you face this issue on STOCK LRU ICS?
On Newest XXLT4 JB?
Because this was a known issue on earlier TW JB builds...but no other tw builds

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S Problem

Hello. I have recently flashed my phone with darky's. I got very disappointed mainly because of battery drainage and I switched to Doc's Custom Cooked ROM from romkitchen.org
My MAIN problem with Galaxy S is that after about 15 reboots (NO MATTER WHAT ROM I USE) I get the force close loop and everything goes straight to hell. All my apps are invalidated and nothing works anymore. I am tired of flashing and reflashing my phone. I just want to USE IT, NOT WASTE TIME FIXING IT!
I kindly ask for a solution on this forum. I would also like to say that I have applied the "/system corruption problem" but this didn't work at all.
I am eagerly waiting for an answer. Currently there are 2 sollutions:
1 - Solve this damn problem
2 - Throw SGS to trash can and buy an iPhone
Please help!
Just flash with the stock v2.2.1. Use your phone...
If you go with a custom rom, you gotta expect issues.

To be honest with you, it might just be your phone...I've flashed countless times and not had a bootloop in months. Try doing a factory reset and start from scratch from either Darky or Doc's ROM

+1 to that.
If you really want a custom rom with good battery... I'd recommend a clean 2.2.1 JPY flash and then Darky's 8.0/8.1 . The battery life is much better in those versions. I get ~1%/hr drain at night with Darky 8.1 vs ~3% with 9.2
I have recently tried Insanity 0.6.1 and find it very good. It actually doesn't have all that bloatware from Samsung and therefore it has more stability! I have been using it for a day. Given ~ 20 restarts and no problems. I hope everything is going to be allright. I'll report back in a couple of days or as soon as it gets problems.

[Q] Is All the customized ROMS are good for every Region (india.. etc)

Hi Devs,
I am using India Stock ROM for galaxy, is it good to install the customized ROMS if yes then why samsung release ROMS as epr regio specific.
I am sure this is related to signal strength of every country telecom provider,
but in that how can rely on customized ROMS.
Apart of this when even I am installing latest rocket ROM (19_1)or criskelo ROM v 3, my stucks in boot loop and if i am installing it over other ROM my screen wil come up but Not able to call and my signal stremght become very week and closes the application with force.
Could anyone let me know which ROM is best for Indian users, i have the firmware KL3
One more query when ever I am installing the STOCK ROM from ODIN in first time it will got hung while coming up. then i have to do FAactoy reset to make it up, this is vert weired , is anyone faces the issue ?

I don't think it makes any difference which custom rom you use.
I used to have rocket. Tried darky for like a day or two. Now I am on Checkrom. Never had any problem with any of them.
It is always recommended to do a back up of all your apps and data with something like titanium and do a complete wipe before installing any new rom.
I personally use CWM for installing new roms. I am guessing that you have rooted your phone?
Could you let me know the best ROM to use which gives me very good theme and good battery life.

BSOD on every ICS ROM

I am facing a strange BSOD issue on my device with all the ICS Roms (Official/Coocked).
I have tested every ICS Rom out there v30A/B and even CM 10 on both old and new bootloader, but the problem crops up.
The problem is random and I have even tried manually turning off wifi.
Can some enlightened soul help me out on this issue.
try the v28g by topog..
vEget7 thanks for the reply but i said i had tried every ICS Rom out there
do u change cpu frequency?
i had it only on cm
but with official-based rom sometimes i found it off .-.

[Q] Recurring Bootloop Problem!!!!

I was on the [ROM][4.1.2 JB]Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5 and it was working like a charm... after a few weeks of using it i started getting stuck into bootloops all of a sudden... i managed to keep it going by wiping the dalvik and cache but it seemed to happen all over again... i then changed to AllianceROM N7000 JB XXLSC Alpha 1 thinking that the earlier one had some issues... but again after 2-3 days the same bootloop problem occured again... i dunno wat seems to be the problem... Can any one suggest any steps that i can take... also i wanna be on a TW JB ROM.. any suggestions which is the one that can be used going ahead... currently i have moved back to RocketROM JB v3 which i was using before the Utlimate ROM... Please HELP!!!!:crying:
Try ultimate jb rom v5.1
Did you exactly wipe everything before flashing?mine works fine.it is also a good tw jb rom

All the JB leaks have the boot loop issue. Some or the other time it will get stuck in boot loop and say we have to live with it till the official JB releases.
Try reboot from recovery or do a nandroid backup and restore to get the phone working again
I have bootloops, oops fruitloops for breakfast.
Yes welcome to the club, all the jb leaks have this, those based on dumps more. You really need to get a clean safe install with no restore of apps data for this to run properly.
good rumoured news official jb is just round the corner
The bootloops happen with every JB leak after XXLS7 or XXLSA. I found the cause in my Note: unclear shutdowns (like pulling the battery when the phone is on, or a system freeze). The best workaround I found is to go to recovery, do a backup (nandroid) then restore it right after. It should take some minutes but you will be back up where you were.

Custom ROMS consequences?

Hi All I have an important question
I love android and I like play with my phone by custom roms! maybe I installed 100 rom in my s3 lte
but my question is
Since months I installed TGP rom and it was note 2 port in that time ! and then my phone started to be unusable! my screen was always flickering! I tought it was a hardware problem! but issue fixed by changing battery
And a week ago I installed nameless lollipop rom with hbo kernel and after 8 hours my phone didnt boot only and I dont even see splash screen ! isuue fixed by entring downloaf mod and flash stock kk and then format battery! and now I am running TGP
Can I still install roms without harming my device and battery...? Thanks
