HTC ONE dev edition specs - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What is the reason why this dev edition is only for the USA customers and I'm curious as to whether it could work in the Bahamas even though we use 1900mhz and 850mhz bands here

Does anyone know if you can unlock this phone like you can a tmobile phone? Just wanted to ask since this phone uses a sim card.

Would be pointless considering you couldn't use it on a GSM network like ATT or TMobile. Doesn't use the same frequency or band either.
Although the cards look alike they are different; see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CDMA_Subscriber_Identify_Module

[Q] Verizon AWS Band 4 after 4.4 update?

Was it turned on for our phones.
I have read it has been enabled in some of the Droids?
Sense we are Verizon's red headed Motorola stepchild are they leaving us out in the cold?
Is this just a radios update? Can Droid radios be flashed?
Steve
On the S4 band 4 or aws was enabled by new modem/radio when we got 4.3.
I'm wondering about this too. I have a s4 but ordered a dev edition x. From what I've read it's capable of using aws but hasn't been enabled, which is idiotic. If the x does not have working aws I'll likely sell it. I'm not going back to 5 mbps when I can get 90 mbps with my s4.

So you ordered a phone that did not have AWS compatible as a spec, and will be upset if it doesn't have it. LOL Ok then

Does this not say it is aws compatible?

Try that again.

Apparently this app sucks. Here's a link where it says it has aws. http://mobile.pcmag.com/?origref=ht...e45f8b1c0f30-motorola-moto-x-verizon-wireless

on att&t

will the unlocked version work on att&t LTE?
The fcc appearance had 1 device with tmo and att bands..and a second with sprint radio
That is likely the unlocked gsm variant

Z1s Bands

Will the Z1s work on AT&T? LTE etc..? Or is it stuck on T-Mobile.

I think T-Mobile and AT&T LTE are the same bands, but I may be wrong.
Do we know whether Z1s has physically less bands or is it just a software lock due to licensing costs?
