I just got my HTC one yesterday and already there's a problem with the backlight on the home buttons. I looked in the settings thinking there's we a option for them and there wasn't. Is there a fix for this?or has anyone else ran across this?

The are controlled by light sensitivity. In the dark they should light up. Try that out.
Would me turning of auto brightness or anything change That?

It appears my camera LED stopped working. Does anyone know how to test it? I've tried a flashlight app but nothing happens.any ideas?

Did you try taking a picture or video with the light on in the settings? I also went into the hidden menu and did the Camera Test. That also should show you if the flash is working or not.
To access hidden menu you need to dial 3845#*925# or you can create a shortcut with Anycut.
Have you tried rebooting? That happened to me once when I was out and about and a reboot did the trick

If you know how to solder, you could always solder a new one on.

Must have been a software glitch. After a factory test to fix another problem it works fine now.

That seems to do the trick, but then aren't I missing out on that feature? Say if I'm in the shower?
Kind of sad that's the only place left to get away from the leash... before I retired I bought a lake house that got no pager (remember those? ) or cell service just to get away.

When I press on the back button, or when I long-click on the home button, my phone doesn't vibrate anymore. I have vibration enabled in settings. Is anyone else having this issue?

Was your battery low? This phone automatically does power saving mode after 20% I believe.
My battery wasn't low. My phone vibrates when called. This is very strange. Any other solutions?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes, it was always checked. Something funny just happened. I was browsing through settings - not the sound settings - and suddenly noticed the vibration is back.

You seem to be having a huge number of problems. I haven't seen anyone else post this many problems. Maybe starting over from an original unrooted mi9 might correct all of your problems. Not trying to offend. Just making an observation. Good luck.

After charging your phone doesn't automatically turn off Power Saving mode. Pull down the drawer and make sure it isn't checked.
Lost vibration again. This is very frustrating. Does anyone know what's going on?

You guys find the solution ! That is right, just a setting problem - power saving mode should be disabled. Then, my phone vibrating function is normal, thanks!:good:
Hi guys..I have this weird display where the app drawer just turns very dim all of a sudden and this happens randomly and I need to exit the app drawer and enter it again in order for it to become normal again..
So this is how it looks like..as shown, only the app drawer becomes dim whereas the notification bar and the dock are still normal..anyone facing the same issue? I'm on stock 4.3 non rooted

My other One works perfect. On this one I get that app drawer dim, small amount of lag, and ocasional screen unrisponsiveness. Odd thing is both phones are stock 4.3 and about same production date. Maybe it's the colour of the phone ?

I don't think so. I had egzactly the same apps on both my phones and only the black one is acting up. The silver one is working fine. So it must be the colour ?

It looks like multitasking is the main reason for this. I can replicate it by opening few apps and then going to app drawer

I had the same issue using the last 4.3 based ViperOne ROM. Pretty sure I remember reading about it being due to the animation scale being 0.5
Didn't really find it to be an annoyance at all, and was only maybe 1 in 7 times that it occurred so never really worried about it
