Just wondering if MIUI will be ported for the ONE?
of cause,it will be. miui ported every popular phone before.
Pretty sure we need CM first, unless they make the Sense/MIUI Frankenstein build I've seen in the past, which would be awesome, because I don't wanna give up my tv remote app haha

Why don't you just install ICS?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Because:
-Bat drain
-lags much more than GB at this time
-Some apps wont work, but are necessary (ex: clock)
-some fc's sometimes
and so on...

lol i had this feature when i had Darkys Rom on my phone,
i have to agree with noobwork94 on the ICS as mosts of the issues are fixed
But many of the users (me too), only flash this rom, when these bugs are "killed".
Or we have to wait for CM9 and hope, that they will add it.

one cosmic ICS 4.0.3 RC1 is good...
it is good for daily use...
only wifi theatre is not working...
as it is pure android, there is no file browser installed.
camera has very less options..
but, it is ok..

No it's not OK.
Camera Video Recording is jerk! it's like 2MP cameras.
very bad quality.
Exactly! Ics is buggy, so stop spamming with these "omg install ics its better lolololo" posts because we won't install it.

Hi!i would also like the taste of ice cream on my phone and allready thought about flashing ICS! But i also want a full feature phone, and dont wanna set it up twice a week! Ithink that the DEVS did some great work in such a short time, but there are also a few features that i would miss compared the GB. One feature are the toogles in the notifucation bar, i really dont want to stay without them! (And as far as i know, widgetsoid does not work under ICS)
So maybe a dev could make this nice animation available for all the Gingerbread users out there! If not, we'll have to wait for a great stable CM9!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERY ONE!

Is this possible? Not stock based ROM with some themes and tweaks but a full out port of a tab2 7".

sure, if youre willing to work at it. but chances are it wont run perfectly. why would you want to downgrade your nexus 7 anyways?
Is there something about the Tab's version of Android that makes you want it over Google's? If it is something specific to the Tab from Samsung and not just an app the likelihood is it won't run right on the Nexus.
I had the chance to get a tab and I wanna see what the tab was like.

Might try a touchwiz rom, I think that the tabs are over rated.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
Touchwiz rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038920&highlight=touchwiz
I know of the ROM with the launcher but it doesn't have all the features the tab has to offer. (Not trying to say the tab is better than the nexus because the nexus 7 is amazing)
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Part of what makes the N7 so much better than the Tab is that it has much better hardware and specs. Running the Tab's version of Android on the N7 (assuming you could) wouldn't tell you much about the Tab in terms of performance. It would be a useless comparison in that regard.
The only thing I would want to see from the tab 2 7inch is the tab ui launcher from its ics Rom, I always see the other launcher from jb ported but never the one that has tab ui

I see threads like this in the forums of every device I've owned (and that's a few).
People want HTC sense on their Samsung's, Touchwiz on their HTC, or some other combination.
The only device I've ever seen it pulled off successfully was HTC sense on the nexus one and only because the HTC desire had identical internal hardware.
It's just way too much work as overlays like Sense, Touchwiz, and Motoblur are closed source. It's possible to reverse engineer them and get them working on different hardware but it's a huge amount of labour and the results would be poorly optimized and not very much fun to use if someone even did manage it.
Some people with tabs go to great effort to run pure Google on them and you have that out of the box so be grateful for what you have. The grass is always greener on the other side.

I got my son a tab2 for Christmas and your not missing much. Sure its a nice tablet but I like my n7 better.

is it possible to reduce the long press time on the sense keyboard to like 200 milliseconds? it's possible on SwiftKey but I really like the HTC stock one

After using cm 10.1 for a time now back on stock. And now is my accelerometor as buggy as what and it doens't mather because I dont use screen rotation but in camera app it is just anoying my pictures are rotated the bad way. I already tryed to recalibrate the gyroscope but that dind't worked.
Verstuurd van mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
Android 4.0+ doesn't natively support accelerometer calibration!
The only thing you can do is, go back to gb and recalibrate it. Then upgrade to jb.

This flashable zip is all in one solution for getting ViPER4android and Dolby Atmos working on nexus 6p throughout the OS.
Requirements - Busybox, Root, Custom recovery
Does it work on Android N ?
Anyone tried this yet? I've used both on different devices but never together.

I didn't try this download but I downloaded it from the official thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/themes-apps/viper4android-t2952137
I use the 4.8 Sony beats edition and it's working fine on AICP ROM.

Please give proper link to the original topic. This is others' work, not yours.
As for N, this newer mod works better. The newest version of "Exodus" should work on N just fine. Many thanks to @A.R.I.S.E. Sound Systems for the wonderful mod.

Ive had a Nexus 7 2013 installed in my car in place of my stereo connected to a nice amp and speakers. Ive ran it stock sound for so long (i tried DSP for awhile but it drowned out the sounds so i disabled it) i just installed the Dolby+ on it and it made a huge difference.

as @krolla03 said, it does make a difference, sound will be more richer, not only that, you have full control over your speakers, you can make it sound as the way you want

Trust me, sound on the 6p is the worst on any smartphone I owned. With viper4 android in expert mode you can tweak it so that it is a lot better. Try dynamic system settings!
