Do u guys have a default task manager apk file and if you could maybe upload it. These other ones are pretty bad, can't stop anything with them.

You can't install it like a normal app because it's signed... You must install it with adb (I don't know if it works... I never used it yet). Right now I can't upload the apk, but maybe later

There's no point doing this, it won't work, it's not an installable apk, it requires additional libs.

Does anyone have the tbolt stock gallery?

So I flashed the bamf 1.5 remix Rom, and I can't find my gallery anywhere. I'm not sure if I deleted it through root explorer. I don't think I did. Anyways, its nowhere to be found in my phone. I downloaded the 3D gallery, and it seems to work ok, but doesn't work in my camera, and I can't add photos for my contacts because it says no pictures exist on my phone. So, it just seems like I need to have the stock gallery for things to be glitch free. Does anyone have a link to the stock tbolt gallery?

Here ya go, hope it works...
Thanks for the fast reply. I tried installing that apk, but it won't install. I even tried extracting the apk from the bamf remix Rom, but that won't install either. Do I need to zip it and flash in in recovery?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
it should be able to install thru adb. Ziping it wont help
I'll have to do it when I get home. I'm at work now. I was hoping I could just put the apk in the system/app folder, but that didn't work either. Thanks again. I'll adb it in the morning.

You have to change permissions to rw-rr
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
Ok so I opened root explorer, longpressed the htcalbum apk, then clicked permission, selected the appropriate permissions, but they don't change. Am missing a step?

So after many unsuccessful attempts to install the apk, I just reflashed the Rom, and there it was. I must've deleted the apk when I was removing some of the stock widgets. Anyways, I love this Rom. Adrynalyne, and ThatDudeButch, ... You guys deserve lots of props for your work. I've flashed many roms on many phones, and this is one of the cleanest and coolest roms. And the support on this tom is awesome. The battery life is fantastic even with 4g enabled. Thanks again for all your work. You guys a geniuses.

[REQ] Stock Market .apk

Hi guys I did something dumb last night as I was tired and not thinking. I installed the new market (vending.apk) on my Xoom and quickly realized its for phones only
Anyone have a link to the stock vending.apk ?
I thought you could go into manage applications, find market and click uninstall updates.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA Premium App
I tried the same with same result
Could not get the app back, even with TB. Honeycomb-market consists of 2 files: vending.apk and finsky.apk. Finally I had to rip the files from out of the file "system.img" (part of the AU-Telstra-FW) by using "unyaffs", copied them back to "/system/app" and set the permissions to "rw-r-r". APKs from Tiamat-ROM didn't work, tried that first w/o success...
I could upload them to my Dropbox, but i'm not sure if they'll work for you...
Edit:
Uploaded mine: http://db.tt/cTCSrkb
To replace them in the file system you have your Xoom to be rooted.

Let me know if it works

Only thing is Im not rooted on the Xoom so Im not sure that would work.

Guys send be the system backup image for your device, then I can implement the revolution rom tweaks then it will work on your CDMA phone.
First however I need your system image.
Can u tell me.the steps to do that and.ill go ahead and get that sent to u still kinda new to all this stuff be great to get away from stock this.phone has a lot.of potential
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app

I'll gladly give my system image to anyone that wants it just I need to know how I get it
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
Ok I pulled the system image using adb but I have no idea where it is saved at also wondering if possible to port nameless using this
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
guess i should throw this out there as well no recovery will work on my phone every time i try to boot recovery i just get that damn htc splash screen abt being for devlopmet purposes only
I can try building twrp recovery for cdma version too, but I need a link to its kernel source though.
Also give be the output you get when to type
cat /proc/emmc
Through terminal emulator or adb shell.

You have to type adb shell
Then try typing cat /proc/emmc
I dont think you will get an output if you try this command through terminal unless you are rooted. You need to type su then cat /proc/emmc when you try this using termnal emulator.

Hi I think I follow you . If you want to back up your apps before you flash a new Rom you need to buy Titanium Backup . I'm not aware of any other app that does it for you . I'm pretty sure the free version only lets you backup 1 app . but I might be wrong as it's not an app I use .
all the best
Richard
Nah the free version lets you backup every app still. However when you restore you have to install each one manually, where as the premium one you don't.
