[Q] Firmware Download

Hi all, I was trying to find a way to download the latest firmware for my device ( galaxy ACE) for past few days, so that i can get back my device to the stock ROM but i have no clue why i cant download the file from Samfirmware i click on download and it redirects me the hotfile and there i wait for an other 30secs for regular download and then it shows "click to download" and when i do click, it just shows the same thing again..regular download or ..... and even i searched the web for it (i even tried with different browsers). cant get into anything and most of the websites just redirect me to the same Hotfile link. So does anyone knows any idea or way to get this thing downloaded or if you guys have a mirror of Singapore's latest firmware (S5830DXKT5_S5830OLBKT3_XSO) please do help me with the link ..???

Or i just want to know whether can i flash the latest firmware(S5830DDKQ8_S5830ODDKQ7_S5830DDKQ8) from India? Because i do have that with me but i dont have Singapore's firmware..
Will there be any problems if i flash Indian firmware over here??

try to find the samfirmware, there you will find what firmware is exactly for you device,
i downloaded the last firmware from my ACE B there.
try to find your firmware there

S5830i uses a different Odin from our phone, be very sure that you're using the right one.
Also, I don't know if this works, but you can try flashing a full package firmware.

Russia (KPH) and Germany (KTE) are full package firmwares , go to sammobile and get it

Can somebody help please

Try to take out battery, hold power button + home key + volume down than put in the battery in. Obiviously ask someone to help you XD
P.S. Pull out SD card and SIM card also

Yeah, maybe, can I ask if is possible not flash in multi but in 1.85 Odin with re-partition .pit file flash firmware? Can´t check on google

I told you not to use Odin3. Odin3 is not for S5830. The steps to flash ROMs through the correct version of Odin is in General

I used Odin 4 multidownloader...Not Odin3. I just ask If I can use Odin 1.85 with re-partition select and firmware with .pit file..?
Because I had SIII Mini and was same problem with upgrade to SIII. Then I checked firmware Russian and there was re-partition selected and the pit. After flash I could flashing the official firmware...
EDIT: oh I am sorry now I know 1.85 is Odin3 :-/
EDIT2: Is the port good setting? Sometimes pc write error2 can´t connect with COMport...

canada gt-p1000r firmware

I am wondering if anyone has the original firmware for a rogers samsung gt-p1000r? Since hotfile got shut down, all the links have gone dead, I was hoping someone here had a copy still downloaded? Initially I would just load a rom(root it) , but I want it back to OEM before I do what I was going to with it...

and when you go to download it, file doesn't exist, they are transferring from XXXXX TO TERFILE.CO or something along those lines. I've been waiting for them to transfer for over a month

it's look like it's gonna take some time before that site finish to re upload all of their files..
I'm sorry for not checking that first..
because I've always download the official firmware there..
Edit: and i notice your other thread.. if you really don't care for your modem..i think you model can use the overcome method..
but im not really sure.. wait for other members opinion about this..

Below you will find pre-split odin flashable firmware for the Galaxy Ace S5830i
I have split them with splitfus2 by Doky73
Download Announcement
Apologies that dev-host seems to of implemented a new design that makes it hard to download the files
Use a pc to download or if on phone use Opera browser
Make sure you untick the box that says use their downloader if it's there
Click the "download now" button and not the "Download" button
What do all the codes mean? Which One Do I Need?

How To Use Odin
Install samsung usb drivers here (windows 8.1 run the setup in compatibility mode for win xp)
Turn phone off (or pull battery and put back in)
Put your phone into download mode - hold vol down home button then with them held also hold power button
Connect usb cable from phone to pc (use rear usb ports not front ones if you have front usb)
Push vol up to start connection (wait a few seconds if first time connecting so drivers can install themselves)
Open odin 3.07 which you can find by the power of google (other versions may work but thats the one I use)
If odin is connected it will say com then a number is a coloured box under com:id on the left hand side
Only auto reboot and F.reset time shoud be ticked - DO NOT tick anything else!
Put pda in pda
Put modem in phone
Put csc in csc
Start the flashing process
Phone will automatically restart and boot once done
If your phone goes into a bootloop go into recovery and wipe data/reset

SplitFus2 By Doky​
If the firmware you want is not listed above try looking on Sammobile
Once you have downloaded the firmware from Sammobile you can use SplitFus2 by Doky in order to split the firmware into pda modem and csc in order to flash via odin

Not that I know of - the firmware posted is the latest for this phone - the only difference there should be is regional variations

In terms of samsung codes the European/Russian firmware on the first post is a latter date
Mine is Oct 2013
Yours is Nov 2012
Ignore the sammobile.com build dates - its probably when they uploaded it

There's nothing wrong with dev host
Just make sure you press download now & have unticked the box that says download with their file manager

Use a different Web browser then
I have no problems downloading it
As I said just untick the box that says download with their downloader (only shows on some Web browsers) and press the button that says download now

In need of stock firmware

I have looked on the internet for modem, boot loader, and firmware G920TUVS5EQA2 to flash in Odin. Unfortunately I have been unable to find it. Help would be appreciated

Since that will be rather slow without a membership you can also start further back, maybe with EPF1 (or EPK5 if you can find it hosted elsewhere), and let the phone update via OTA.

how do you flash this,twrp??? I extracted it and it was just 1 .tar file...If you use odin where do you flash??? AP??

What do you mean??? I'm still waiting on a reply..LOL..I got it fixed but this thread is as dead as Elvis..

You should be able to grab it from Sammobile. I got the G920 Nougat there.
