Hi all.
I am a member of the Carbon Team, and we have the rom across many devices...
I have cooked up the I9305 rom by request, but I forgot who my testers were...
If any of you are feeling brave, you wanna flash this rom?
Please either reply here or PM if you're interesting in testing the CarbonRom for I9305
Thanks, Matt
Could you post a link to the ROMs homepage or main thread or share some facts about the ROM?
I'd like to know a little about it before speaking up to become a beta tester, and as I didn't hear about this ROM before (coming from a not so well known HTC phone) please do at least a little advertising

Thanks husky... We dont really have a homepage yet...
but a lot of info is on goo.im - http://goo.im/devs/carbon
Hmm, looks very interesting. Alas, I'm very busy ATM and couldn't afford to do extensive testing or have a broken device.
But once it's out I'll give it a go

When is this perfect rom coming to I9305?? I can't wait, i had it installed on my I9300 and i think it's perfect! The sooner the better!
I would be happy to test although I've not specifically beta tested any roms before. What information would you need or is it general bug finding?

there is already a thread for this where i post tests.
if you are not planning on sorting bugs and sending patches, please take this down for the interim as it will cause much confusion as i make my way to completing pending work on all tabs.
if you are planning on fixing bugs and sending patches, then this can stay, but please be sure that nothing conflicts with what i am currently working on.

Hello everyone! I'm a dev for both the Evo 4G LTE and the HTC One XL looking to expand the number of devices our rom covers. And what do you know, I'm porting it to the good ol' HTC Holiday. This is a blind port since I do not have the device, so instead of releasing it as an official rom, I'm having you guys test and see if anything goes wrong. I've been through the same process over at the evo lte, so hopefully we can get through this soon and get an official release.
You can find the latest alpha build here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390326628153819331
If you want to see what is included, check out the links in my sig.
This is based off the stock AT&T ICS rom found here
Thanks, and happy testing!

I don't think it would be needed since this is actually a sense 3.6 rom (not 4+ like the other 2), but I did see that devs were having a bit trouble getting a working legal release, so maybe once this is done I can help out? I'd be glad to take a look at the rom with working ril

Hy all.
I've been watching this board for quite a long time but in the end I decide to ask for advice from someone that knows.
I'm searching for ideal rom that has working device parts like tv-out. I kinda dount I'll find any 4.3 tom with this feature if not pease suggest me some other latest build. I tried sevral latest rom on CM base (CM 10.1, 10.2 Slim beam 4.2.2 4.3, C-rom v4) but with no luck, thus many of those are very buggy in basic operatios. Currently using updated Helly Bean 4.3.
Thanks
CM currently doesn't have DeviceParts working. And because a lot of 4.3 roms draw from CM sources, none of them will have that feature fully working.
Odd though, CM10.1 and Slim 4.2.2 should have it working

When I connect phone with tv with cable, I just can't enable tv.out setting under menu, it stays gray. Cable is fine, I've been using it with my very old rom (2.2) before and decide to refresh my rom, that is why I asked in the first place.
Am I missing something or?

Just keep posting and helping others in the Q and A section, you'll get to your ten posts in no time don't spam though, that doesn't go down well...

Dear Members,
I have been trying a lot of ROMs in the last weeks however - for me - I have found "danisariandi's" REVELATION HD ROM to be the fastest and most stable one!
I have been using the latest .500L which can still be downloaded in the thread, however, due to different problems which I didnt experience in the previous version RV.12.2.234N I would like to install this version. Unfortunately the developer has vanished due to different reasons. So my question:
Does ANYONE still have the REVELATION HD RV.12.2.234N ZIP!? Or/and can provide a download link!?
I would be really happy, thank you!
Happy XMAS

There was no USB-Mass Storage Option, I fixed this by implementing USB-Mass Storage through Titanium Backup which I had backuped from the latest Xblaster Release. It acturally worked.
Then there is no Loudspeaker during call - basic hands free option doesnt work! Thats a very basic feature for me. I had random reboots and FC with vKernel but with DOOM, so far, it seems fine!
Other than that it worked quite well, however i believe these problems mentioned above didnt exist with .234N.
Im still looking for the perfect ROM since CM unfortunately drains the battery and xblaster has many problems with e.g. handsfree call option and Hotspot function this is my last resort!

You'll need some knowledge to compile it. You need to import some features from bullhead or angler and adapt it.. It's kinda hard especially if you're starting. I advice you to start building AOSP first and learn from that.

Yo you are so ungrateful, show some respect! The only clown is you.
You clearly know nothing about what you are talking about. The Dev's behind AOSPA want to bring a quality ROM, they don't want to rush thing to take a step back in the Custom ROM scene and bring a buggy ROM, so instead they take their time to come up with something nice and good (probably). How fast a Dev can bring up a ROM and update it tells nothing about the quality of the ROM. AOSPA was awesome back in the JellyBean and KitKat days, I'm sure their Dev team is working hard to get back on that level. Instead of whining about them being slow with releasing, you could give them some help or just give it some time and be patience to see with what they are coming up with.

Fair question, maybe it's because those ROM's you talk about made a decision between bringing quality or fixing bugs fast. PA probably goes for bringing a quality ROM instead of rushing on things to fix bugs and bring a "half work" ROM. Who knows? I guess we will see eventually
