If you purchased your One from Australia, it will only have regional warranty. So if any problems occur, you will have to bring it back to HTC Australia and get it repaired. That is only available if the place where you intend to purchase is an authorized dealer.
Australia HTC One will not work completely with USA network. It will certainly lose 4G LTE compatibility and will have reduced reception due to different radio requencies used in USA and Australia.
Hi,
Pls help where can I buy an unlocked HTC one cdma black in Michigan , USA or somewhere nearby.
Hi there
I want to buy the HTC ONE "again", but the problem is that I'm not sure which one.
After some research, I've found that there are several different versions of the HTC ONE:
HTC 801n ONE, ONE HTC 801e, 801a ONE HTC, HTC ONE 801W ...
Well why "again"?
Thing is that I had one until recently, the 801n, i got through a contract renewal in Switzerland, and I was very very happy with it!
But the trouble started when I went on a trip again. I travel a lot between Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, and the US, and due prolonged
stays in these countries, I have a simcard in each country, as well as prepaid and contract, each with internet access (3G and 4G).
Now in Mexico I noticed that my brand new HTC ONE 801n, was not compatible with the frequencies used here (3G, 850Mhz with Telcel Mexico), which made it useless as a smartphone. Therefore I sold it. But I loved this phone, so I am going to buy me a new HTC One!
Question is, which HTC ONE is the right for me?? Also I read everywhere on the internet about an "international" HTC one, an "international version"??
Is this one of the above versions I mentioned? "International," does it mean that it will work with all the frequencies in all the countries I travel to? With at least 3G Internet can use, perhaps even with 4G? And where do they sell it? And how can I identify it?
Thanks for your help

International means quad band GSM. It won't work on CDMA and you won't have all the data bands either. HTCs website has a list if the specs, and there is a discussion thread here with something like U/UL in the general section by mike1986

ok, means will work everywhere as a phone, but 3g or 4g , for example the 801n only in europe ????
Why have you got another thread for the same thing?

I live in the UK and am about to buy an HTC One online, but I want to be sure when it arrives that the guy hasn't got some cheaper US handsets or something and is selling them here, hence the phone would be running on the wrong LTE bands. Is there a way to verify exactly which version of the handset I have once it arrives? I'm assuming, as I'm in the UK, I want the GSM one, m7ul....? But what about the other international versions? Thanks
As the title says, i want to buy a htc one in austrlia (i'm going there next month). I found out that i can buy two different models, the 801s or the 801e, but online i haven't found anything about. what are the differences, and i'm going to have problems when i'll come back in italy with the htc one?
I bought through mobileciti.au a 801s for 700AUD and I am using it in Europe with no problems (2g, 3g and 4g) so I think it will all be fine if you get that model. And I have a perfect phone (no red tint, no gaps or anything). Hope that helps. :good:
