What the hell...
New toy, new accessory for the new toy. Won't sync.
It tries to sync. I can see the mirror on the TV. Bam. Disconnect with a usb tethering error.
Any ideas?

HTC has an official work around now. Put the phone in airplane mode and wait for the fix. They told me 3 weeks.

I purchased the DInc2 back in June and haven't turned on my Droid since until today. Now, I cannot turn on the wifi and get an error that says unable to scan for wifi. Anyone else run into this issue and have a fix?

Can a dev lock/close this thread please? My solution was to download another ROM from a different PC, install it, reinstall my stock rom and wifi is back up. Oh well...

Every time my wife's droid 3 has an app to update or has an app she wants to download, it says to large and needs wifi. I've tried checking numerous settings, but no luck. It's getting frustrating.... Any suggestions?
Sorry if this has been asked but I'm not at a comp and sitting in the hospital, so searching is not the easiest over the whole xda app.

No Micro SD, no USB support out of the box...oh right, you subsidized the cost of the device and only want google play store media on there, or you want me to pay for google drive and only side load from there...got it, and for the price, I can agree to those terms. Any one else buying some serious google drive storage? Getting the 50 GB, even though I can only use 7-9 at a time...

I haven't had a problem loading my own media, copied a few tv shows over usb fine.

USB works. AirDroid is a good alternative. Dropbox works for copying stuff. Not sure why you're complaining. You can load anything you want on it.

Then there is something wrong with your computer somewhere. Drivers most likely. I have loaded many of my own epub/pdf/mp4/avi/mkv's onto the device without any issue.
Mac or PC? Mac you need to install the android file transfer utility.

Its definitely a driver issue. What OS are you running and what does your device show up as in the device manager. The user above has a point Air Droid would solve your problem easily.
You could also always use an external drive if you're running a custom software config and unlocked.

Unless you are running 4k movies 7-9GB at a time is more than sufficient. Funny you make this comment as know what you're getting in storage before you buy one. If storage was an issue you should have bought something else.

You do know you can get drop box on your PC, and that it synchronises automatically to all your devices?
Or is your PC not able to connect to the internet?

Bittorent sync. Download from market. Secured and encrypted. No middle man files sync same second from phone to laptop through wifi or 3g or 4g.
I use it with my unlimited super fast 4g LTE while tethering to my laptop. Syncs in seconds tons of data!

Thanks a lot
I'd also find this app on gp ''homesweet service'' and only for wifi . Just what I need! But I will try this bittorent sync later
And again thanks
