You need to have a Overclockable kernel to do so.
Use Zeus ROM if you wan't to stay on gingerbread and overclock.

... but this would probably be the better solution.
If you want to stay with the Gingerbread look, use Zeus 6.40.
Zeus 7.06 might have a few advantages and maybe disadvantages too, it's more complicated to set up and it has the ICS look.

zeus has problems with Arabic language
I want stock rom for middle east region
I rooted it and deleted safe to remove google apps
but I cant find stable kernel for stock v20e rom to overclock
what s the most appropriate kernel to overclock it ?

I have no clue if this Diana kernels work with stock or just with Zeus: http://huexxxtuff.blogspot.com.es/2012/05/zeus-rom-links.html
If they donT work there is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1723397

Yes, i think diana kernel could be a solution, but she/he need to experiment.
Hope it works

I don't think you can OverClock with stock roms...
I think what you are searching is Emanom rom, its the same Gingerbread with OC and few other apps and features added!! You can sure give it a try
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176927
Or, may be you can try Andro-id. Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107331
Thank u Yagya for responding..I have seen that thread..but I noticed that Emanon Rom has wifi and B/T problems..is there any way to solve that problem..

EmaNon has better performance, A2SD, Terminal Emulator, many tweaks to increase phone and internet speed, but EmaNon has bugs like Wi-Fi bug. But Wi-Fi doesn't work only for someone. But it doesn't work for me. So just try it.

Emanon is not much diffrent from stock rom.... It's just some extra features added to stock rom..
Here is what you get more with Emanon:
It is pre-rooted. No need to root again.
It can be overclocked to increase or decrease CPU speed as your need.
It has some added applications.
It has some performance boost and etc.
You can use Darktremor A2SD or any other a2sd with Emanon.
You can view more features at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176927
Thanks everyone for responding..I have made up my mind ..I m waiting for Flatzki's MIUI rom or else I will go for Emanon rom by Parasmi..Thank u once again..

no OC on stock rom.. just try custom rom and u will love it..
Which rom would u recommend? I've used tjs cyanogenmod and andro-id. Cyanogenmod seemed to have a lot a of bugs and i wasnt somehow happy with andro-id.

any recommendations?
No OC on stock ROM now.
if you love with Stock ROM, you can use this ROM (emanon). This is almost the same as the original ROM and can connect with KIES.

I am just wondering how many times this question would have asked ? Maybe we should have sticky on this.
First there's not such a thing as a "kernal" now if you mean KERNEL there's not many options for tw roms... There's only 2 notecore and speedmod, the experience its different for everyone.. Try both and see what's best for you

because no such as a fixed thread helps the new beginner to select what they need based on the other experiences !!!

SpeedMod versions lower than K3-9, has problems with Bluetooth... My best advice (if you have tried K3-13 already) is try using k3-9. See if that would alleviate your 'hotness' issue on your phone.
:good:

[Q] Recommended ROM?

Which ROM would you guys recommend, which would solve the phone restarting issue I have with the S5830i?
It may possibly be a Rafael kernel issue as people have experienced this on various ROMs including stock. I'd recommend upgrading to the latest kernel and trying out stock or stock deodexed ROM to see if that fixes it because obviously stock ROM is the most stable.

I forgot to say its full reboots when dialing or during calls that is the suspected Rafael kernel issue so if it doesn't fit that description maybe its not the same problem.

You know that OC is not stable? Sure 1100 can be stable for most ppl and for some even 1200 but that depends much on your OB. If you want an easy solution I would get Zeus 6.40. That is a great ROM with a fitting OC kernel that can go up to 1350 (if that works for your OB).
If you don't want a custom ROM, don't get a custom kernel and definitely don't OC.
