Hey, so can anyone who has the one, take a snapshot of their storage settings and upload it. I want to see how the storage is split up between apps and the sdcard. Thanks.

Hi!
I just got myself an HTC Raider 4G LTE (Canadian Vivid) and I was just wondering about the phone storage. Why is it that there is only 8.83 GB available when it is advertised that this phone has 16 GB internal memory?
Sent from my HTC-X710a using xda premium
A lot of phones do this... they are advertised as having x amount of internal storage but a chunk of it is reserved for stuff the phone needs (the stock apps? htc sense?)
It seems this thread has a conversation about it

And you have obviously missed the rules; cracked apps shouldn't be discussed here.
So no one will (hopefully) give you a link to it.

Yes thats true no 16gb version.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Well there kind of is a 16gb option that's not out yet. The Google edition (running pure Android) is reported to have 16. But the ones with sense and currently available are all 32 or 64gb.
Some people really do need the sd card, for ROMs, movies, music, etc. I'm not one of those people my 32gb is holding all the apps music, pictures, and files I need with lots of room left. Just look at the size of the stuff you want to have on there (or estimate - a 1080p movie is about 4gb when compressed) and see if it's more the 64gb.

Try using texdroider dpi from the playstore
can you do me a solid? Can you extract and upload LGMessage.apk and LGMessage.odex, or possibly lgusmms.apk and odex from your system/app directory. I am on a LG G2 with Verizon and I know both the Verizon and Sprint phones are having issues with sending MMS using flex ports so I want to see if using sprint files that can send MMS will fix it.

My personal opinon - as this phone matures more, more and more people will be deving for it, im almost certain that it will get the proper s - off in due time! A phone with this much hype always seems to get just the right development teams

HTC One M8 Original Development, make sure you check the comments before trying anything on your phone, seems like some roms are based on the Google Play Edition RUU, which has different sized partitions. Works great for an international M8, would most likely brick our M8.

I'd be careful flashing something that's not specifically for the Sprint model. You're gonna have a bad time. Someone will have to port it.
