U could have tried flashing slaid boost for ace
Sent from my GT-P3100 using xda premium
Just flash a cm7 rom with fire kernel. Preferably, revolution rom Xperia edition. Battery life has been great for me here ! Battery extender kernel has a bug that makes the battery drain to 15% from 50% in less than 10 minutes. Flashing another kernel on stock roms has never made a difference to me. I also recommend you to flash the full gpu rendering by slaid. It makes your device consume less CPU for graphics and boosts performance, battery life, touch responsiveness and audio quality.

Well if you want WP8 style metro based theme, you can try the Ultimatum (based on CM 7.2) with Metro settings and Fire Kernel. Its stable and no battery issues there. Also you can try calibrating.
BTW, the battery notifier in Aces is sort of defective I think. It needs to be calibrated over periods of time.

I was on v4 and it was perfect the battery life was awesome and thein I updated to nightly 13/08 and then first I experienced random reboots after every 2-3 minutes of cellphone going to sleep
I did full wipe and installed the rom but still the same problem and the battery was draining very fastly (2-3 % drops in every 5-10 minutes)
Went back to original GB and then again Installed CM 10 alpha and then full wipe and then hellybean but still random reboots and battery draining
went back to GB again and then installed AOKP and then full wipe and then hellybean 17/08 This time there were no random reboots eexcept when I play 720p videos BUt the BATTERY DRAIN IS STILL same 100 % finishes in 3-4 hours (i m not lying)
Any solution

well..I have to say that I had the same problem..
1-st download from market GetRil to see if you have baseband compatibility it may be an issue there. If so fix it, is really easy.
If problem is not solved. I guarantee that changing kernel will do the job. I recommend siyah.

I'm just wondering what rom do you use for your daily rom.
I have tested many rom's but I can't decide what to use :/ I like CM10 a lot, and now I'm using GellyBam, but they have much battery drain and GPS don't work
What rom do you like the most and why??
Thanks

Use Gingerbread ROMs like Zeus, cause they are most stable, fast and the battery drain is better there.
i think the rom PAC (beta 2) is pretty good too...if u test it out ....i am using it as a daily ROM though the GPS is not working
I have used Zeus since the beggining, and for many time, but i dont find it easy to costumize like cm10 or aokp...i like more that interface. Are you using Zeus?

Hey, welcome to XDA!
First of all you need to read the rules because this kind of thread is not allowed.
To know about the ROMs just read their respectives threads and ask about it to people there.
Ok, thanks for reporting!

I Think Pure Vanilla and galexperia are best rom and with minimum bugs. CM10.1 comes with lot of bugs but Lot more features also.
CoCore-E-4.2- is good and also saves battery
I prefer CoCore-E-6.8- it consumes more battery but performance is very nice
Try this kernals with different Custom ROM and u will come to know which is best for you.
you can search all this downloads on xda

Hello, I bring to us a new version of android 4.4.2 kitkat for T211 (it don't work T210, T110, T111). I admited this is beatiful and fast, have low consuption of mb ram and cpu. The gpu get more performance, I don't know why the bad performance on quadrant (on kiktkat I get 3500, on jelly bean I get 4100) but on antutu I get 14.5k on jelly bean I get around 11~12.5k . Sometimes systemui get a strong lag, and the samsung didn't addict support of tecnology ART and the new engine opengl ES 3.0 don't actived, consuption of battery is strong, this problem occur on galaxy S4 too. So I give the tutorial:
Download the odin and stock firmware here.
I don't resposibilize errors or damages cause on your device
https://mega.co.nz/#!uU4j3agb!8lYOjb8NiN-U5Yvf_MI2N5y_AfF0FDsBtp2XcxvKh9o
https://mega.co.nz/#!bMRWkJrD!gDgAmFcania4Yo4W41G4o1G9LRDxzag-ktZHAPSofFE
Extract the files
Open the odin
Select pda, and choose file you downloaded home t211etc...
Click on start and wait
Done you have a kitkat on your T211
Click thanks if I help you.

first, thanks for your great job :good:
Second , when you say "battery consumption is strong" how strong it is , compared to stock 4.1.2 ??? have you enabled powersaving mode?
third, is the lag bearable?

I test two benchmarks on engine 3d, nenamark 1 and 2
nenamark 1 test opengl ES 1.1: Jelly bean I get 60 fps. Kitkat 47 fps
Nenarmark 2 test opengl ES 2.0 : JB 51.9 fps . Kk 60.1 fps.
Quadrant: JB 4100 . KK 3600 .
If your battery drain fast, you should download app battery calibration (delete battery stats) .
My battery now it's work perfectly.
Dead trigger effect of water when rain, appear perfectly on KK.
The only problems is systemui, because somitimes on home I get slowdown. This problem occur on S4 4.4.2 .
