[Q] Warnings & ROM Manager Compatibility?

Earlier Phone: Galaxy Mini - S5570
In galaxy mini, the use of ROM Manager results in a hard brick (Only solution is replacing the motherboard with a new one).
I just bought a Galaxy S Advance (16GB)
I am just wondering what are the warnings for this phone that a user must know? (I read about the bin counter - i.e flashing anything not from Samsung in Odin increases the count by 1 Correct me if I am wrong.)
Details just in case anyone wants to know:
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: I9070DDLK2
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-1211839 [email protected] #2

You are right about binary counter - anything (be it rom or kernel or whatever else) not signed by samsung will increase counter when flashed with odin - voiding varranty.
Other thing is we got triangle away working for us now (or you can do it manually - there is thread for it here in forum ;]
The only real thing to watch out is ROMs designed for i9070 and i9070P - they are not cross compatibile and you WILL hardbrick your device if flashed incorrect one (at least flashing i9070 rom on i9070P does that).
IDK about ROM manager - never used it.

Try the stock ROM XXLT4 using Odin Mobile to flash and inject ROOT.
After that if you want a more user friendly recovery mode you can use the Philz kernel for LT4.
Use this link for rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
and this on how to root http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360

Be careful and DON'T TRY TO FLASH A GT-S5830 ROM/FIRMWARE OR YOU'LL BRICK YOUR PHONE!!
It's not the correct section, next time go to the correct one
This is your phone's android and development section: forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/s5830i-develop
And this is your phone's Q&A thread:
