Xperia t 9.1.a.1.141 certified - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hi everyone,
I've just received my Xperia T (coming from an Xperia Play) and while looking around I checked ptcrb to see what was the latest version available. Turns out the 9.1.A.1.141 firmware got certified yesterday. I was wondering if anyone had already received the update or if owners of the TX that seems to already have this version on their phones could tell me the differences with the .140 version.
Thanks in advance and I'm happy to join the new community

That .141 is for the Xperia LT30a and maybe LT30at
LT30at = American versions from ATT Xperia TL
and the LT30a is like Xperia T but I think carrier defined Xperia T

Yeah, I realised afterwards that the .141 firmware for the TX isn't the exact same build number. Anyhow, there IS a new firmware that got certified yesterday for the LT30b (the Xperia T), we'll see what changes there are when it starts rolling out I suppose...

xperia Tx

The. 141 update is just a bugfix update for the Lt30P AND the Lt30a.
Stops the phone crashing during calls und some other fixes.
It's not Just for the 30a!!!! In fact, it was thought of to go out to the 30p at first!

The certifications have nothing to say about what's coming for which phone!
They certify just in case.
Meanwhile there can be changes in plans where everything gets mixed up again!
Just wait a little. Can take up to 10 weeks before anything happens!

There is open source archive today of firmware .142 in Sony developer world.

Maybe someone will compile it.

Open source archive for build 9.1.A.1.142
Last time .140 (Xperia V) was released on Developer World, it only took two days and then some guys had the firmware via PCC (East Europe region).
Can someone please try with PCC, I am not at home with my computer. :fingers-crossed:

As of. I know it was an option to update to .141 but on June. 10, android will begin to.roll out android 4.3.
During that time Sony will work on a 4.2.2 update for the T, but don't get your hopes up that we'll get it.
It is an option though.
Going back to my earlier posts, that's what I meant with 10 weeks
It has to be worth updating. If there ain't no major fixes and changes, Sony just certifies but doesn't really bother rolling out the update bundles!

[Q] AT&T Sony Xperia TL 4.2.2 ?

Has anyone got the 4.2.2 update on their TL yet? I just looked on mine and it still have 4.1.2..and I just got this phone last week. Is AT&T just being slow on pushing out the update? On google, I found something that said they were going to start pushing it out on March 13th..just wondering what other TL users are seeing.

Yeah, I was just comparing what they were saying about the 4.1.2 and 4.2.2...looks like I clicked on the site that had the wrong information saying it was official 4.2.2...I was thinking that was a little odd. Sorry for the post..hopefully we will see 4.2.2 though. Thanks for the info.

But I have something more - every site where Xperia T is available to be previewed there is an info about this update! But our current build is 9.1.A.1.140 which isn't even officialy certified on PTCRB. Strange

ANDROID L last update For Z,Zl,ZR,Tablet Z ?

well i askd my frnd who works for sony india... and i asked him about android for older device.... he said Sony are considering L for our device an that will be the final... with z expire date for updates is august an zr september... so fingers crossed we may get our last an newist android 5.0 on the other side z1 conpact got 4.4.4 today... hope the delay in india might be , we straight away get 4.4.4 nxt month
It's a little frustrating knowing you have to wait a WHOLE YEAR for the 5.0 Android 'L' update
But yeah, it's for sure the last update this device gets as our device will go 18 months in September 2015.
If I got my math right, we should get the update sometime around this time next year; May-June 2015, since it took almost the same for KitKat. Or it may release as early as Feb-March. The one main reason the developer preview for Android L is already out, so Sony and other OEMs will start working on making firmwares even faster. So let's hope for the best, people.

Atleast Sony gave us updates right from 4.1.2 >> 4.2.2 >> 4.3 and now 4.4.2.
That's just awesome as compared to HTC and Samsung where they are not updating their devices.
Even if there's no update I am satisfied and will install CM 12 for AOSP love.

Sony did released Alpha & Beta rom before for Xperia Play & arc
Btw,Xperia Z is their first smartphone to make them more success,I hoped they will give another Android update for us...
See the Xperia TX,they are still giving small updates as it's almost 2 years (usually 18 months of updates, now already 22 months),they just released the 9.2.A.1.215 update last month.
It was launched on September in 2012 with Android 4.0 ICS,now 4.3 Jelly Bean, and 4.4 KitKat under investigation.
They are still consider to give the 4.4 update for T/TX/V,if no,why don't they remove it from the support page ?

10.5.1.A.0.292 certified for ZR at PTCRB

A new version 10.5.1.A.0.292 has been certified at PTCRB on 7th November, 2014.
Going by the version number, it seems like a small, bug fixing update. Maybe you shouldn't expect a new set of features.
Let's see how much time it takes to strike our devices.
probably 2-3 weeks to release the bug fix update.
update center say that it is available now. But no ota. Update only via PC...
release has begun in some parts of the world for c5503 model. no reviews found yet
lets wait for our c5502
