[Q] Not longer enter CWM after re-root - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
Earlier I root my XZ using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry. After that I installed CWM recovery and perfectly working .
Then unroot my XZ because I get annoyed with Superuser and wanted to use SuperSU, I decided to unroot using same tool I used earlier. Later root again this time i use Flashtool. The reason I use Flashtool because unable to root again with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry for unknown reason.
After managed root again, found out im not longer able to enter CWM recovery . I already installed CWM many times.
Any idea?

[Q] Lost root on 3.3 stock

For some time ago at rooted the my i9001 using the stock recovery to install Root-i9001-Signed.zip
After this, I installed CWM 6.012 recovery.
All was well for some time, but now I have lost root acces, and can not get it back,
by installing Root-i9001-Signed.zip with CWM.
Also CWM 6.012 and CWM 6.019 have never been able to finish a backup,
they reboot before completation.
Is it only possible to root the phone by using the stock recovery to install Root-i9001-Signed.zip?

Rooting problem!!

I tried rooting my Sony V, but its ended up in disaster where the phone doesnt boot past sony xperia part and just loops.
I tried to root it via this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2090319&page=2
Through" Gasai Yuno" step by step instructions. I have tried to originally flash my phone using the"TRIMMED-LT25i-SOL21_9.0.F.0.195.ftf or the original LT25i-SOL21_9.0.F.0.195.ftf " but it turned out a disaster.
I managed to get the bootlocker unlocked but even that seem to have re-setted everything on my phone to default and deleted everything on my phone.
SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!
All I wanted to do was load this ROM.

Those instructions are for Android 4.0.4-based firmware. Obviously the phone will bootloop if you flash 4.0.4 over 4.1.2.
Use Flashtool to flash it to a proper 4.1.2-based firmware and get root using Binary's scripts.
You could also flash a custom root-enabled kernel using fastboot if you unlocked the bootloader.

Unlocking the booloader always resets all data, it's normal.
thanks guys really appreciate the help!
Any chance you can guide me in the right direction to a 4.1.2 based firmware?
This thread has FTFs for .140. You could just search the forum for "LT25i FTF" yourself, you know.

Ok I flashed it back to normal then I tried to install CWM Recovery through this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012738
Using this method:
"Installing CWM for the first time is as simple as:
Download CWM v4 installer for ICS if you are on Ice Cream Sandwich or CWM v9 installer for JB if you are on Jelly Bean, and unzip
Enable USB debugging and connect phone to your computer
Run install.bat/install.sh"
After that I tried installing this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2500671
But it failed and gave me error7 I think it was, so I tried to forget about the rom and tried reboot the phone back to normal but now the phone doesn't go past Sony on boot up, and I can't load up CWM.
PLEASE HELP!
Flash the .140 FTF using Flashtool once again.

Just for Information... Most flashable ROM zips do wipe the system partition before the actual install begins - as a result, your recovery (which is for locked bootloaders and thus stored on system partition) is also gone. Which means that on reboot neither rom nor recovery is present to be booted in.
So in the case of a broken rom zip or errors in CWM, it is important to either flash another (working) rom zip and the CWM-self-installer zip directly afterwards or restore a (hopefully) previously done nandroid backup.
Otherwise, you'll need your pc to setup your phone again ^^

Need a bit of help, not sure what to do

So I was running Ultimate PureXSP v2.1 and it was starting to get really bogged down and slow so I figured id try and reinstall the ROM over the existing install, so I went into TWRP and installed it, the install said failed but because of the touch debug messages, I couldnt see the error message.
Anyway, TWRP has always had erratic screen movements and general weirdness, it would keep going back to the homescreen when trying to flash. So I rebooted and it got stuck in a bootloop!
I used flashtool to put a stock 201 firmware on and now its runnning okay again. But I have lost root and recovery and I dont think 201 can be rooted unless I downgrade first but I will probably run into data problems, I cant use titanium backup or a nandroid to back up my data.
What should I do? I dont have any backup software that works without root and I cannot root without downgrading and losing data.
Can I unlock the bootloader from 201 and then add recovery and root? I already have a TA backup and my unlock key.
Any help would be great!

Yup, that's what I did.
Unlocked the bootloader. Then can flash any custom kernel. I flashed DoomLord's Adv Stock kernel, which has an inbuilt recovery. Then flash chainfire's SuperSU update through recovery to get root. Then can install any other recovery and flash stock .201 kernel back. One problem though.. YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA (INCLUDING WIPING OF INTERNAL SDCARD) WHEN UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER. So, do you have any cwm data backup done before?
Edit: Backup&Restore app that comes with stock Rom is supposed to backup and restore data without root. But it never worked for me when restoring things. Other option is to use 'ADB backup' commands from a pc. It also didn't do restore properly for me. Can try those as last resorts.

Unable to flash from 4.4.2 to stock or rooted Lollipop

I tried what I was advised here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...pgrading-stubborn-software-t3228423?nocache=1
I can successfully flash it but Kit Kat still boots up every time. I don't know what to do. Maybe twrp? How do I do that.
May also be relevant that I cannot seem to boot into recovery to do the fixes after I flash. 4.4.2 stil comes up.
Cheers!
You could just use Odin to go back to stock, always worked for me. The only reason I could think that you could have problems is that you have a custom rom already that changes your build and model.

If you need to install stock rom you need to make sure build number is N900AUCUCNC2 and then use odin to install .
If you need to install root rom install Towelroot from play store and make sure wifi or data network is on during root then install SuperSU
BusyBox (open BusyBox and install from inside ), "Safestrap-HLTEATT-NC2-3.75-B03" recovery from fourm put your prerooted rom in sd card open Safestrap and boot to recovery you will be able to install rooted rom from there .

Upgrading from 14.1.G.534_NUT problem - no imei

Hi I am kindly asking for some help with my issue.
Long time ago I was managed to install CM11 on my Xperia Z1 C6903
And it was working fine with CWM.
Lately I started playing with other recoveries and I have something messed up :/
I was able to install C6903_14.1.G.1.534_NUT.ftf through flashtool and root it with Bin4ry.
But from this point I am not able to upgrade any further :/
What I have tried is:
1) flashing CWM from latest cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-honami.zip
CWM works I can flash by cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-honami.zip but then I have no imei so I cannot make any phone calls.
2) alfter having C6903_14.1.G.1.534_NUT.ftf with root I tried to flash C6903_14.2.A.0.290_Generic PL_1276-4318_R1B.ftf by flashtool
but after that procedure my Xperia Z1 is not booting at all. All what I can do is to flash CWM or
C6903_14.1.G.1.534_NUT.ftf
3) I was trying procedure described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572988
but I cannot find any of this files to download.
Therefore I stick with old stock firmware 4.2.2.
Thank you in advance for any help.
