I am a manual/CNC machinist here in Houston Texas and could not for the life of me find any decent stand for my line of work. So I made one with a Noga Flexible arm magnetic base and attached the backing of an old indicator I had and mounted it in the RooCase i had bought. here are some pics and i plan on making a nicer one later on.

Love it, and that's a very good idea. I could use something like that for my desk, which officially has no room left on it.
lol Never thought to Use my mag base

well, i got the body glove case that comes with the kickstand. put the little round thing on the back of the case that used for the kickstand, but dont use the kick stand. go get a cb radio mic mount. the one i have is small and fits pretty much anywhere in my truck. i don't have any pictures of it right now but i'll get some tomorrow if anyone wants to see it.

Thought I'd share a picture of the Samsung Vehicle Mount. It fits nicely in my BMW X6.

nice one...
Beware of cops
Laws differ in different places. California prohibits devices that obscure more than 5 inches (12.5 cm) of the windshield - so at 7 inches your mount location would be illegal here. Fortunately the mount also works below the windshield.
Anyone spotted one yet? Waterproof would be perfect.
Just got this one:
UltimateAddons Bike Mount with Waterproof Case for HTC Incredible S
Looks very solid... will test it tomorrow and let you know if is good or not...

Tried and need to say it is very good. Fits perfectly Incredible S and holds your phone solid. You can see the phone fine through the plastic and even operate the touch screen.
Overall the holder is perfect for the purpose I wanted it for and would recommend it to other Incredible S users.
Incredible S bike mounts
These are not waterproof, but well worth considering.
So i was planning to get this and have it grip my parking break or the shifter. What do you guys think?

edit: the actual grip is only 72mm wide so it's a no go for the note 2. I am going to visit homedepot after work to see what I can conjure up hehe.

Nice, thanks for sharing.
Only issue is where to mount it to in car, can't block the view of windshields and i don't see where you could mount it to sit where climate control is.
I actually have this tripod for my camera. It's really cool. You can adjust it into any position you can think of. If there were a way to get it to hold my Note2, I'd use it much more than I do now.
Alrighty folks. Was watching tv show on my Veetle app but have always hated the viewing angle because I have to lay it flat on the table. Then for some magical reason, I was hit with this "geniusosity" and made this. It literally took no less than 10sec to make with little to no cost at all. Hope you all enjoy
