Turbo Boost - HTC Incredible S

I recently bumped into this on xda, hope I'm not reposting stuff, but thought I'd post it because we IncS people need this kind of thing (i.e. IncS Supported!)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2145133

yes...

Thanks for that one...trying it out now. Hopefully this and a JB Rom should keep me away from an upgrade for a little more time

[Q] How to flash CWM recovery.

So I just rooted using Universal Androot but now what?
I can't figure out how to flash CWM recovery. I just moved to this phone from the HTC series of phone. Things are so different here. But as a previous modder on HTC phones I'm sure once I can get the recovery and root working on this new phone, I can be of help to all Zio users.
We are still working on getting proper CWM support.
For now you can use fastboot to boot our image which is stickied in development.

Wanna try building CyanogenMod for our device?
I would build myself but I have to get my laptop back and running with Ubuntu.

I'm currently working on building CM6, so do me a favor and look into CM7 for me, would you? It'll be awhile, though, I'm working on LED notification support for the Captivate ATM, so yeah.

CM7 is going to need a new kernel, I can try working on a new kernel once I have my laptop back.

I'm not too good with kernels. So I may not be able to help you much with building CM7. Since it seems we haven't gotten a new kernel yet to support it.
EDIT : Although I will be able to once we have that kernel . Also I'm very good in the scripting and overall increase of performance areas. I'm glad I could join this phone so that I can help you all with bigger and bettering this phone

We'll get that kernel...
Thanks for not buying the Ascend. I can't believe that they already have CM7! Our phone is way better than the Ascend.

Sorry but i dont get it. I downloaded straight to phone and tried to move from phone memory to sdcard-external to flash but none of the downloads wants to move to the sdcard what am i doing wrong?

You don't need to really move anything any where where ever you downloaded it you just navigate to that directory using volume keys and you select with power

Flashed and.... I don't see anything new or different. How do you use the libs?
Dude just flash this as you are flashing a rom you have done that before right
Sent from my XT875 using xda premium
My question wasn't how to flash. I flashed it and nothing is different or new. I see it added some .lib and .bin files but they aren't affecting anything.
Well i finally did it..and i can notice a little change but nothing TOO drastic. Someone should get these files and make a mini app of it so that wen downloaded there is an app to turn this function on so we can hear the difference...wish i was a developer..i have good ideas.

Sorry tuck should have quotes was talking other poster not you o know you know how to flash lol...

My impressions are not postive, because everything runs to perfection until you have to restart the device. At this point it stops and not restarts.
That kernel is old and don't supports our drivers. Press on the Link above to get more information..

The ICS kernel source has not been released yet for the IncS, so the only choice you currently have is what is in the ARHD zip.
No other option except the stock kernel at present.
Go bug HTC and tell them to release the ICS kernel source already.

Thanks for the tip on this, it runs as good or better than any other AOKP based rom that I've tried and I really like the theme. The new ribbon format is awesome! Don't know if ATGAdmin browses this forum anymore but I've downloaded the 5/23 gapps 4 different times (yesterday & today) and it comes up corrupt and won't flash.
Upon checking with Winrar, it seems that the META-INF folder with the script is the culprit. I got around this by extracting everything but the META-INF folder and then archiving it in the 5/18 gapps replacing everything while leaving 5/18 META-INF intact, this worked great.
So dparrothead1, thanks for the heads-up and ATGAdmin, thanks for the terrific rom. Hope you decide to give the forum another chance and reopen your thread.

I've been trying to get in touch with him. His XDA pm is not accepting msgs and his androidhosting site has no contact info.
He has a a 5/24 update so it looks as if he is updating along with the AOKP nightlies. As much as I like this ROM, I'm having a hard time using something with no support.

I was just in a mini dialog with him in another forum for the new Hisense Sero 7. I told him about my issue with the 5/23 gapps but he told me that he's flashed them many times with no problem. Maybe they became corrupt afterward because there's definitely something wrong with them now. I remember reading last night that the host had a power outage around the time I was downloading, maybe the file became corrupted on the server.
Anyway, as I mentioned I worked around the gapps and the 5/24 nightly is working well.
