(JB 4.1.1)(AOSP/CM10) Jellybean for Arc/ArcS- Alpha for testing (Wifi Fix)

Just a few things to note before you start​
This is an android Jellybean ROM compiled for the Arc/Arc S and is AOSP/CM10
The ROM. It is only an alpha and many things won't work, I will continue to develop it but for now its just a taste of Jellybean on our phone A special thanks to szl.kiev for kernel and general help ​

Known Issues:​-You tell me ( A lot of things )
- Graphic glitch in recovery, it still works just a graphic glitch just ignore it.​
How to Install:​
1. Make a CWM Backup incase anything goes wrong (Optional)
2. Copy the ROM to SD card of your phone
3. Copy Gapps to SD card ( optional )
3. Flash kernel via fastboot by typing: fastboot flash boot boot.img (kernel is inside the zip you downloaded, called boot.img)
4. Boot into CWM recovery by pressing the volume down button during boot up when the LED flashes blue
5.Wipe everything ( data, cache + dalvik cache)
6. Go into install zip from SD card and find the ROM
7. Then flash it, Reboot and Enjoy ​

Release it man.Atleast later you will be able to add more things like Bravia engine,xloud features.I miss Bravia Engine on Cyanogenmod :crying:

Well I compiled this, they compiled that, didn't know they were going to release it at the same time mine has a different kernel but both are alpha so not much will work

it was in upload. check again! should be fine now...

After installing the Fixpack i got the whole time and com.android phone Error:
,,Unfortunaly, the process com.android.phone has been stopped." :/

it is the old phone.apk pack! maybe you can delete phone.apk on it! or don't flash any fixpack. now i'm installing rom and i see

Okey i know how to solve this problem
1.Flash the ROM without the fixpack
2.Start the phone and enable root permissions
3.Install a file manager which can change your system files (Root Explorer etc)
4.Go to \system\app and delete the "Phone.apk"
5.Restart your phone

Well phone gives fc only once, and that in first boot. After that it should be fine. And if you dont flash the fix pack you won't get deep sleep, mic in call and minimum brightness fixed!!!

Hello everyone! I wanted to say a short goodbye but I dont think theres a need to create a new thread for this kind of a thing..
Yesterday I got my Galaxy Nexus, Ive been charging it until today.. Anyways, Ill still be coming here, as grift previously said "Ill never leave my first forum", Im not gonna leave it, Im not sure if I can be as half as active as Grift is though...
Theres one thing I wanna say about the Gnex, It is simply awesome. Awesome display, great design(outer look and its not like the galaxy s i9000, you dont feel like its a peace of plastic when you touch the battery door) etc. etc.. If you happen to be getting a new phone just go for it.. Youll love it!!

how much money did you spent on it ? i would recommend you gummy rom or paranoid 4.1 for it thats what im going to use on it if i get a galaxy nexus

I had already downloaded paranoid, miui 2.9.7, stock jb rooted, deodexed, and the files needed for rooting(supersu flashable). and twrp2.2(its awesome).. I flashed miui now to see how its like. then gonna try paranoid.. If I can solve the mtp issue its so annoying..

Since it is based on CM10. I'd assume it is the old Gingerbread Partition.

So I was just curious a while back almost a month ago, you ported over the lewaOS except at the same time your phone like took a crap. Are you going to try and pick back up on that at all? I like JoyOS as well, but LewaOS I prefer over joy. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

Yes, now that our GB is for the most part functional I'm going to do Joy, MIUI and Lewa for GB base but right now I'm expecting to get my new cell any day this week, I'll flash as many as people are willing to test.

The new update boots up fine and runs pretty smooth. No issues that I see or have run into.

Yes , it is a change of Android Version so would always advise a WIPE !

1. Is overclocking possible?
2. Is there any even smallest lags on games like asphalt 7? (im a picky one)

Dont game really so not looked but my roms dont normally contain any lag
Also at the moment overclocking is not possible as I am not a kernel dev unfortunately I will have to wait for the great minds to compile ner source code for the 4.2.2 release !

1- No as no Custom Kernel..!
2- I am already using another rom based on the same leak.. Play asphalt 7.. No lags here whatsoever.!

its 1.15 am here in india..! If i dont sleep.. i l flash else il do it the first thing in the morning

There are some days i dont go to sleep till I flash a new rom so i think im better than you xD

Just downloaded.i will flash your new rom now.i used to use anono rom it was really solid rom.but i am really curious about battery usage of this rom...

I will release a small update as I have just realised that I have left my no battery mod on my rom that I normally have for myself. The update will restore the battery but its working well is the rom overall !
