None have some workaround yet?
What is wrong? I rollback to ICS stock and don't fix the problem. So, I revert to CM 10.1 and none solution for this simple problem.
Please, somebody help me.
In my case, music players don't find the musics in /sdcard/Music. What do I do?

I solve my problem.
1. Open Manage Apps
2. Go to Media Storage and Clear Data
3. Go to DRM Protected Media Storage and Clear Data
4. Install Winamp, open it and open Albuns. The álbuns database will be rebuild.
5. Open Apollo and it will be populated.
6. Uninstall Winamp if you to desire.

I installed MX Video Player 1.6e and was going to upgrade it to the latest version of the software. So I uninstall MX Video Player and when I tried to install the latest version of MX Video Player, it say "Out of Space".
I did some reading up and there is a few post about deleting the odex file under Android/App/Data. However, there isn't any odex file in that folder. I even tried deleting the who Data folder and it does not solve the issue. Anyone has any idea where I can go to clean up the install file for MX Video Player?
Just where is the Android/App/Data folder ? I can't seem to find it.
Try deleting the app via Titanium Backup and also check if you are really out of storage space ?
The full path is mnt/sdcard/android/app/data.
The app has already been deleted so it is not showing up in Titanium Backup. I have double check the storage space and I got a good 1.1gb of space left.
So not really sure what to do from this point. I know that I can install the latest version of MX Video Player if I do a full wipe but I rather avoid doing this if I can.
Same problem here. Just can't install titanium backup and poweramp..

Don't do it! Stick to 1.6e as later versions have the DTS codec removed which sucks donkey balls.

You can also just remove the .odex file for the app you patched. It will be in /data/app/nameofapk.odex

Try the app "SD Maid"
It cleans up the system and leftover files. Kind of CCleaner for Android.

SD maid doesn't help. Cleaned up my entire phone and still couldn't install Poweramp and titanium backup.
Wiped my data and performed a clean install of PA last night, and managed to install and update TB but Poweramp still doesn't install.
OP has the same problem as me, just different apps

Yes it will work for the op or any other app because its the universal solution for this problem

Well, I'm kind of offtopic but actually I solved this problem just by uninstalling the codec app.

i think you can do that manually if i'm not wrong install it normally if not try making a backup of the music player you want using titanium backup then restore it on gzr. i'm uising play music in gzr and it works fine
Please read the post again you didnt understand

You can control music player from the lockscreen itself on gingerzaraki. Go to widget control option in lockscreen menu and enable music control from there.
There's also a option of music control even when no music is playing.

We know what you want to do. But how did you do it?
Do you replace the Music.apk before installing directly in the zip ROM? Afterwards with a explorer with root access? Do you simply remove the Music.apk and then install the new app? Or, do you push the new app directly into /system/app? Permissions? Where did you get the MIUI music player?
bro you are getting fc coz some filled are interrupting installation.
you need to locate former files and delete them.
if you don't succeed try ttpod player from play store

Try installing the MIUI music player instead of copying it into the system/app..
I had this prob once, MIUI shudnt be copied with root permissions according to me.
Give it a try !
Try ROM TOOLBOX from Google market. It will help to remove your all apps..
But dont forgot to take backup the app before removing...!

You're still giving little information.
You say you've done this before succesfully, so my guess is that you didn't delete Music.odex.

Does anyone know how to make flash work on boype's modded cm7?
Bump
Sent from my LG-P970 using Tapatalk 2
Do you ask how to flash boype's CM7mod?
Well go into CWM recovery and select cm-7-package-20120925-p970-boype.zip via 'Install zip from sdcard'. Upon this, a graphical user interface will guide you through the setup process.
No! I'm asking how to get adobe flash player working.

OK that makes much more sense. Yes you can't get the flash player from Google play on a easy way but I think you can get it from here http://dl.cdn.chip.de/downloads/105...389-28b13f-B-0a5c8646bd1f5cdbf6fd815e84edc8c8 or you can get it from Google play if you go directly to it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer .
I heard from some ppl that one or the other way did not work for them but try. For me both works but as flash player is listed in Google play 'my apps' I don't need it anyway (even if I think I never had it on my OB).
Last time I tried, it didn't show up on the play store, so I downloaded the apk and installed it. Installed.fine, but showed no signs of working in dolphin. Webpages did not load flash content. Lemme try again.from the direct play store link tho.
Sent from my LG-P970 using Tapatalk 2
Weird....I installed it, but videos are not recognized as flash content.....all all flash advertisements are recognised and play using flash, but videos, when tapped, do not play directly, I am supposed to pick a video player to stream them.

Hello guys!
Today I listened to music, an hour later these music files were not in the player list anymore, but I know that they are existing on sd card because I can find them with file manager. I already wiped cache, installed other players, deleted .nomedia files, restarted device etc. I don't want to hard reset, maybe I will flash firmware the next days if there is no other solution.
Please post solutions here if you have some. And sorry for bad english

Guys, pls help! I have Sony Xperia Z smartphone with Android 4.2.2 OS. Whenever I want to install some Android apk which is not from Google play store, a problem occurs. This is how I do it: I transfer Android apk from my computer to my sd card and then I locate it with Astro file manager, but when I start an installaton by pressing option "Install", nothing happens. It's just like that option "Install" is frozen. What confuses me the most is that I've already enabled the option "Unknown sources" (Allow installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store)
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thx!
If you are using any apps like Twilight that create a screen filter, then you need to deactivate them before installing an apk (or in the case of Twilight, activate the app filter in its settings).
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk 2
Now that truly is a strange issue. My suggestion Sony gave me when I called em up when I had a similar problem, back up your data and reset the phone. Simple as that.
Didn't read your last sentence.
Sent from my Xperia Z using XDA premium.
Have you tried putting them on internal memory instead of the SD card?
I have seen it where for whatever reason (usually the type of format that the SD card was done with), some APK's just will not install from the external SD ..
Also, maybe try a different file manager than Astro ...
What apps are you trying to install? if all else fails at least try putting file in system/app then reboot phone
