OK so ether another JB (4.3) or KeyLimePie (5.0). Well for the LG OB it means probably CM10.2 or CM11 because I don't think the OB will see a official JB or KLP and definitely not in the next months.
BTW what will be the difference between 4.3 and 5.0?
Sent from my LG-P970 using xda app-developers app
It will be 4.3 http://www.gsmarena.com/next_version_of_android_to_be_43_still_called_jelly_bean-news-5932.php
This phone can't even run 4.0.4 decently. There's no stable/fully working 4.1 or 4.2 ROM. What makes you think 4.3 will work? Lol. Don't get your hopes high, jus saying.

The recent update, v20s, showed that LG did not abandon us. So if GB is still unstable, could they be concentrating on clearing bugs in GB before ICS?? I know there is an ICS thread. But this is also related to Questioning.

There are speculation threads for this kind of disucssion. Use them.
I saw a page from "GLBenchmark" and when I look for OS I saw:
"android.os.Build.VERSION.RELEASE
4.0.3
4.1.2
android.os.Build.DISPLAY IML74K
x3_open_eu-eng 4.0.3 IML74K eng.gieseo.park.20120306.133718 test-keys
x3_open_eu-eng 4.1.2 JZO54K eng.daeon.shon.20121117.155915 test-keys"
As far as I know 4.1.2 is Jelly Bean right?
There is something new that nobody knows?

It's just two weeks old. Seems like they're really testing it. And it's 4.1.2, at least they took the latest version
Will be nice to C JB 4.1.2 on our LG:laugh:

I'm not to sue about the ui it looks a little to much like the Motorola Razr that I once had.

A very confusing post, what has it to do with the title?
Anyway, all I can say is that I am extremely happy with JB and would not dream of going back to ICS

Its an option now, not a default one.
You need to change it in camera settings under "Quick Launch"

So what are the chances of the 9500 OS being ported over as I've heard there is now a system dump on the web?
I'm quite happy wih my 9305 but would like a sammy 4.2 OS.

Chance of getting the i9500 ROM ported over here is kinda minimal. I don't think anyone would take time to port a Samsung ROM. We already got stock Android 4.2.2, CM10,1, Liquidsmooth, PA 3.15. So yeah, my guess is that the chance of getting the 4.2 Samsung ROM ported over to the i9305 is minimal.
Really? There are plenty of modded sammy 4.1 roms. Surely someone would take on the task...
I use my video out a lot and as far as I know none of the AOSP roms support that.
Suppose I'll have to wait for Samsung to update the 9305....
Thanks

Don't hold your breath.
I want to buy a new phone and also the newest android version on it.
If I buy the 4x hd, should I upgrade it to jb? I read in many forums, that there are many cons..

Do NOT upgrade to JB V20a/b under any circumstances! Heating is terrible, battery life almost the same or worse in stand by, few tweaks that are good but nothing worth upgrading. Better upgrade to CM, it should be completed soon.
Used jb for 1day back to ics.

still use stock jb rom (20A) with iodak kernel, and I think for the time being it's the best combination for me

Get Jelly bean, root it and remove bloatware. This way you get the best performance and some nice features from jelly bean update. CM is buggy currently and removing bloatware in Jelly bean is the best experience you can get from this phone, that is if you want to root. if not, you are better off in ICS.
I have not used my phone long enough to know whether ICS was better than V20a. I updated immediately. Going back from JB to ICS is a sore, but I am going test ICS again after a month.
