Also, when I fell in love:
I felt awe inspired and afraid at the same time. I didn't know what to think but I didn't want to stop thinking about her, she was the only thing on my mind. It tends to change as time passes into something more mature obviously but when I first knew I was in love I felt light headed, confused, scared, and extremely happy. Man, what happened to that feeling? hahaha jk

I guess love is the one thing I am very slow on. I mean it takes a bit for me to like someone, and I guess being young, I also go through the motions of like a highway drive.
But those feelings evolve fast and you realize at the end of the day you'd rather much more balance versus the highway of hormones
Love is a strange thing but really beautiful

Just extremely happy all the time, everything in life is wonderful and nothing can make me come down from my little cloud.

I have been in love for 3 years now and it honestly is amazing. Yeah, after a while the feelings wear off that you initially had but still you know that she's the one and that it will always be that way. You know that if its true love that you would do anything for her and vice versa. However, I wish that there weren't alot of other things on the world to worry about that set off the perfect vibe between two people. Friends can really get in the way and I find this as on of my biggest issues that keeps me from my full loving potential, PHONEs and computers! Are a definite distraction from my true love. And along with many other things including work. But hey put your whole heart into it and just go with the flow and see what happens. Good luck man.

Oh, well. When I fell in love, I was all excited and I couldn't think of anything else than her. And now it's the same, I often think of her and feel very good.

Its a great awesome feeling, I recently liked a girl who I met in tuition (Im 15) and shes one year older than me. When i entered tuition at about may so its been 3 months, i was a very quiet guy then. She came over and talked to me alot( She was really attractive and pretty, so i was shy ) and we've got closer since and its a great feeling but sometimes it can be a little bit "not that fun"
2 weeks ago she came to know that i like her and it was cool however she asked me to hold on because she's got her major exams coming in a few month's(because shes's 1 year older) and yeah i gotta wait till than. Seem's she's really busy nowadays and i only get to see her on Wednesday and Thursday. Im afraid i would loose the feeling even before her exams end and it scares me. But still, I et to see her tomorrow! Hurray!
So i'd say love is an amazing thing that is unforgettable, i dont easily fall in love with girls and i think she's the first that i've really really fallen in love with. Great feeling at the start, gets boring later on i guess.

It doesn't have to get boring later on. I am with my girlfriend now for 1.5 years and I am still as crazy about her as I was when we first met. But I love her even more after being together for this time.

You're young, that's normal.
In my experience the cocky and obnoxious kids turned out to be dicks and the quieter, shy people ended up being awesome.

This is my situation. I go to a ghetto school with like 37 kids and im like the quietest one there.. They always think im weird cuz of that. Its a school. I put it this way. I was the same! Tried to keep work and personal life separate. Was very shy wouldn't go to work functions etc would make up excuses. I was between 18-20 and guess i hadn't really grown up.was scared to accept that i wanted those work colleagues as friends but it was line i was crossing. Plus it got really hard when i fancied a girl at work but just froze and couldn't pluck up courage to ask her out.
Now im well confident...and married but love going out and just socializing. If only i had my confidence now back then!

Well as much as I find it offensively overused and therefore raped of its true sentiment, it is good advice. Forget what you've come here to ask and remember that sometimes things are just what they are and you can't always "fix" everything. Also, just because you perceive things one way doesn't mean other people do. For all you know there could be some hot girl sat across the room from you thinking "He's not like the other guys, and I like that". Be yourself and learn to be happy about who you are, rather than trying to change it.
I've always been a quiet, shy kind of person, but as I've grown and become happier with it it's turned from shyness into a character trait that people know me for and respect. I've become the "strong silent type".

months ago, i was dying from a serious infection (i'm leukopenic so my immune system is very weak).
the only thing i can think of was to pray.. and soon enough, i recovered (now i have certain medications to take every day)
and the moment i knew i was recovering, i was the happiest person alive..

That's always exciting isn't it.
Now that I think about it, I haven't really had a happiest day of my life. My life could be drawn with one flat line. Not happy, not sad. Just plain boring. Maybe I should start doing awesome stuff.

Back when I was 21 I broke up with the love of my life and moved 70 miles away, cause back then I used to drink all the time and get into a lot of trouble and i ended up moving away to distance myself and sort my head and life out. I thought about her everyday without fail and mentally punished myself for losing the best thing that had ever happened to me, but knew it was the best thing for her and I loved her to much to let her watch me self distruct. 14 years later without any contact she found me and told me she had never stopped loving me and thought about me every day, this was without question the best day of my life bar none. We are now married and have a baby on the way and I no longer drink and have not spent a night in a jail cell for 11 years lol

How's your boss?

What's your thoughts about the person who manages your day at work, school or even at home?
Do they treat everyone with understanding or does this person resemble Godzilla.
Is the boss all business or trusting enough to let things run?
Can you find the boss when need be or stays hidden so you get the blame?
Are they a clock watcher-nitpicker or pays no attention to a few gimmes as long the work is done on time?
Is the boss easy to work for or does everybody just live with attitude for pay?
Would you ever want to be the boss?
Been on both sides myself not easy either way.

My boss pretty terrible. She can not speak English, has poor management skills and has no idea what she's doing. She's not the prettiest woman but at least she got a nice bwooooooty

Our boss is rather.. insane. xD
Hide all the snacks, because if you look away they're gone.
If he's bored, he'll come over to see if we have anything interesting to watch. (I have a 1TB portable drive full of films and TVshows.)
Or he suddenly starts doing pushups on the stairs out of boredom. xD
Or do a fashionshow catwalk thing in the hall (we're a bodybuilder clothing brand. He is not a bodybuilder.... xD)
Also, randomly hands someone keys and tells them to go buy 14 bigmacs. xD

My boss is pretty typical. Acts like he is your friend, but you can tell, if you **** up, he will fire you on the spot. He is a company man to the core. Work at a large grocery distribution center. If we were not union, who knows how much people he would of fired.

With 35 years of clock punching I've had most every type of boss.
The great bosses usually didn't last long they always got moved out for better jobs.
The bad ones always stuck around till the union filed so many grievances they ran away.
I was kicked into the boss chair back in 2002.
Wow...talk about overwhelming!
I had women in my office crying, people ratting each other out, fist fights, investigations into willful property damage (aircraft parts), union rep in my office everyday, quality investigations, daily IT reports about network misuses, stand-up briefings with our center maintenance chief (USAF LT General), no more overtime...scary!
I wasn't very good at handling most things except the briefings, always had my facts straight and never lied.
Lasted a little under five years then bailed with an early out incentive.
Funny how you get the "we're gonna miss you around here" after the daily eye blackening.
Stress almost killed me...still get chest pains when I think about

I enjoy reading these...... So i guess ill add in I'm only 17 so not much work experience but I lifeguard at an Olympic sized usually popular pool...I have two main bosses and one is some big lady and the other is a very nice man their both scary to me but I like the guy better becuae he's more friendly...also I referee for soccer so no boss there...and I'm doing a scholarship/volunteer program at john Muir hospital and that's very fun and interesting nice boss there....

the first boss (well erm, supervisor) i ever had was a 21 year old hot chick who i was with in my 1st job, she was pretty, hot, and pretty.... and also she never got mad even though i was always late (30mins to be exact) every single day, i was 18 back then and worked for StraightTalk Wireless as a tier 1 customer and sales support agent, boy those were the times, i sometimes slept through work since i go to college in the morning whilst working in the graveyard shift and had a maximum of 5 hours sleep per day, she just taps my shoulder and says "don't let the seniors see ya", i really wonder why she let's me off the hook so easy, maybe it was because i was the teams top agent,
after that i had an indian boss, pretty cool guy, and he's the "democratic guy" who kicks ya out of you do something so stupid but yet lets you choose the options,
now i have american boss the "strict and sleek type" he doesn't like slacking around and wants you to be busy (i just act like im busy), he's okay since he'll defend his team from the corporate arseholes,

My boss owns the company. He basically said "here, run the place...I've got other things to do"
He's alright.
After hurricane Sandy, we had a dispatcher and a couple drivers that had no place to go. I told him about it and he gave them temporary housing in one of his buildings.

The last boss I dealt with was in a word "lost."
Before any decisions he had to call his boss.
He'd get the shakes and turn white if he had to jump on anyone.
