Trying to update mail app. - Sprint HTC One (M7)

I have tried to update a few apps if mine and I get this message. What is it and is there a way to get the updates?

Did you install a ROM? This is a known issue for paid apps for people who have installed certain ROMs (includes the stock odex ROM that is available as well I believe). It was fixed in the deodex stock ROM as well as in Viperboy's ROM by modifying services.jar (something to do with disabling security checks). Check out some of the threads in the developer's forum (the one below accessories) for more information.

Good catch! I remember seeing that too. I had ViperRom on it then swapped to d3rp rom.
Thanks!

Hi, guys.
I am quite annoyed by that extra confirmation to activate your data connection either by tapping the toggle switch or from the settings
is there a way to disable that?

edit: never mind, doesn't work, didn't read fully, apologies.

If you're running an aosp 4+ based ROM, try using the quick settings toggles. That might work.

If you are rooted, you should be able to look up and install SuperSU from the Play Store. Provided it's not already installed.
You can use that to unroot your phone, I believe.
However, you'll probably have to manually revert any customization such as theming done.

Does anyone know how to eliminate this from occurring?

try this
try rebooting your phone, then immediately open that app
have you got the latest update for your phone? or latest firmware?

I am S-On with 144 so the firmware is still the original firmware.
I will try rebooting and immediately openning that app and try that.

Maybe clear cache and data from app settings will help?

Help rooting latest 4.4.2

Hi I've tried towel root, mod strings and the old active root method. None appear to work. I did previously root my active on 4.4.2 but can't for the life of me remember how?
Pointers would be welcome, Samsung appear to be the only device manufacturer still blocking device customisation.
Cheers in advance.

I've remembered that I used the cf-auto-root method by chainfire. I'll report back if it works with my current setup.

In what country? What is your CSC? Thanks
Philippines.
Forgot what my csc is haha where do I look for it again?
No matter...the update is most definetly 5.0.1...useless thread. And above that you posted in another thread about the Philipines...so no point in opening a new one...
