Awesome! Would there ever be voodoo sound or something similar or does that only work with wolfson dac?

Shabby, i have missed you. Thanks for this. Quick question. Do you have any idea how to remove the vibrate when the phone first starts? I like to restart my phone while i am sleeping and it keeps waking me up. not sure if it is the kernal, rom, or the phone itself. Thanks again!
would it be possible to get the frandom module included in this kernel? aka frandom.ko ? here is a link to the tarball.

im adding bootanimation support and making the guide on how to compile and leaving it for the fine people of this forum to work on. sorry but digging through hundreds of thousands of line of code to try and find one modules source in a tar is not fun (its why i believe xda should enfore github like source).
once i have those two things up im hoping people who have the sgs4 will step forward and take over development

Just trying to make Everyone Happy as all I keep hearing is Lagfix Lagfix... I only Use JFS on Data though.. I don't see the need to use anything else honestly..
I agree with you, JFS is a tried and true low-overhead file-system.
i got insanely goot battery w/ EB-Productions Kernel #2.
I wonder what the battery life is like on the A7/A8 kernels. i might have to try them out. (right now running TW kernel though, I love the work of both TW and eugene).
I'll have to compare battery of the TW kernel to the A8 kernel sometime soon.
are a7 and such overclocked like the one included in macnut? would be kinda sorta tight
Works great Eugene, thank you. Just a heads up - the external sd mounts as a protected cd drive and you are unable to copy to and from your computer. I'm using kernel A8.
Thanks for the kernels Eugene!

If you not using Macnut R12 likely will Happen... You have to edit the Vold.fstab to fix it..
Regarding OC / UV..
A7 & A8 is not OC nor UV.. I am however Working on those currently.. Easy enough to do..
would it be possible to add a no-RFS advanced EXT2 option?

I could be wrong but I don't think Eugene plans to add lagfix options to this kernel. The advanced lagfix options are ported from the ULF Galaxy S kernel. But like I said I could be wrong...
One bug I noticed with this kernel is if performing a backup with ROM manager or any time you reboot from recovery, the phone just hangs on Galaxy S splash screen with no activity. It boots right up after a battery pull though.

Hi
I find this a little bit....humm... risky
You share a work, so there is no critics to do on this, but you have made it for a device you doesnt own.
In a normal case, each user take the risk on his own awareness, but here you have not tested at all what you are sharing.
I would recommend to wait..

Well, normally I would agree with you. In fact, I hoped to find someone who could test it on purpose, at least until I could buy a Nexus S for me and test it on my own.
Consider this thread as a development diary until I say it could be tried without risks.
I have tested on my i9020T and it does not boot. Just sits on the Google loading screen. I also tested it with the boot.img from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350829
Drew Garen will be releasing a "Stable" version of ICS later today. Koush has yet to announce anything about his build. I'm waiting to see what people say about this one.

Installation instructions:
- When the kernel is heated (to about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) the small amount of water (13-14%) stored inside the starchy endosperm turns into vapor (steam) causing it to expand (about 40 or 50 times its original size). As the water (steam) expands it puts pressure against the hard starch in the endosperm causing it to become inflated. Eventually, this causes the pericarp of the kernel to give way (to the pressure from the built up steam) causing it to explode (pop) as it flips inside out allowing the steam to escape and expose the soft white fluffy starch known as popcorn.
- Now pop the back cover, insert it and reboot.
Can you?

Lol gl. First u have yet to state what device your using. If u feel you can write a kernel from scratch go for it..... But I have yet to see it done. So until your manufacturer releases source you won't see any custom kernels.
How about I tell u its based on 2.6.35.7 and all the mount points, cpu info, modules loaded, partitions, devices, file systems and disk stats. Or will u require the source only?

Hi! Is this ROM based on masterchung7's ShadowMod 1.6 31DEC2012 ? I ask because I have found the string ro.pa.version=PARANOIDANDROID-pa_shadow-1.6a-31DEC2012-165435 in build.prop. If yes, then you must rename your ROM to ShadowMod KANG or just talk about this with masterchung7.
Also, there is new version of ShadowMod by masterchung7 - PARANOIDANDROID-pa_shadow-1.6a-08MAR2013-190305.zip.
It's kangalicious!
Thanks m.ksy, I did a quick md5sum and his rom and my rom, they are pretty much the exact same except for the build.prop and the update script which he took all the credit for.
At stevediaz; the renamed rom you posted here is a completely renamed and reupload of my rom. I made it very explicit here that anyone is free to make their own release if they both compiled and gave credit for the rom, both of which you failed to do. Furthermore you you're asking for donations for the zero work you've done. I know that college is expensive, but I'm going to college also next year and could have also asked for donations for all the work I've done since October.
I don't want to have to escalate this to a point of contacting mods, so I request that download links be taken down and that you stop asking for donations until both requirements are met. The reason why I request credit is obvious, but the reason why I request that the rom be compiled is so that any future release will have new features in it instead of just being a tweaked version with nothing new.
I won't hold not creating a link to the original thread against you now, I'll be contacting mods in a week if you ignore this warning. Again I don't want to have to escalate it to that point.
