Gingerbread Modding

Hey Guys,
while surfing around this Forum i found the Paranoiandroid. In this Rom the TitleBar is is on the Bottom of the Screen. Is it possible to mod the Title Bar of an Gingerbread Rom to have the Title Bar down too?

Yes thats possible by editing the xml files in SystemUI.apk. no easy job though

please DONT delet this theard, it is very usefull ...

That looks very nice but i meant to put the hole bar with clock wifi and othe icons to the bottom. Is that possible too?

if using this on 2.3.6 stock like this [ I9001XXKQE_I9001XENKP2_I9001XXKPL ] you loos acuweather and also you dont can open widget or is fixed sory for qustion ^^

You are right. Cm7 supports exactly what i want. The only problem is no cm 7 for i9001.
in the rom its shown under tablet tweaks. Is it possible to flash exactly this tweaks to my rom?

Try this.
Its mazens cm7 fixed 2.0 but you must root it because mazen forgot to include root.
Its been my daily (again) for a 7-8 days.

You can push the apk file into system/app, then set permission and reboot your phone...

Rename the file you downloaded, rename it into Vending.apk (if you are on GB), then paste into system/app set permission(use root explorer or other file explorer) as rw-r--r--, then reboot the phone

Its is,its heavily modified but not really themed... Its a good ROM,I just hate all that crap in the status bar..this phone already has a small screen but anyways back on track,what the OP created looks great

This mod is for ATT 4.1.1 JB. I'm on it :silly:
This also includes Powermenu which I followed this topic by skeevydude
How to install:
- Boot to CWM recovery (or other recovery which support install zip from sdcard, it's up to u)
- Choose zip and install
- Reboot and wait
- Launch some apps then press multitasking button on screen and see

You have done great work, I found solution. I turned down softkeys and without them mod didn't want to work. I turned on softkeys and now it works great.

For calling it TW you should theme systemUI , framework and other apps.

If you think you are not that much capable then you should not start a new thread in dev section.
Just adding launcher or tweaks is not enough to make a full rom..

A thing called progress doesnt exist ? I have already themed almost all apps icon ! Wait me to o other things,why do you pretend always perfect things at first time ? :banghead:
