I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM10.1 builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. CWM: Wipe Cache / Factory Reset Note: You should be fine without this step, but it is HIGHLY recommended as it makes certain all bugs are wiped clean.

Trying to decide if this is going to be my first Rom I install on my recently unlocked and rooted razr... Anyone having any issues with bluetooth or anything else???

I have heard of issues with all 4.2.2 roms and streaming music over bluetooth.

Finally somebody who adresses the problem with pie nav and keyboard swiping! :good:
However, i've encountered a small issue. When trying to edit the dock buttons in trebuchet or nova launcher, these buttons get stuck in edit mode. All other buttons, which i didn't touch still work, as long as i do not try to edit them. Editing works fine though in Holo Launcher. Running on xt925, clean flash.

Hey guys, as of recently it has been tough to keep up with posting "OP Updated" whenever I update a ROM since I have quite a few ROMs I'm supporting on 3 different forums. So from now on, it is gonna be up to you to check the link in the OP for updates. I will be updating all ROMs regularly... So check back often. Thanks guys and ENJOY!

this rom is nice the only issue was that after i flashed and booted signed into gmail i went to reboot device so the new rom could settle in, once i rebooted i was no longer getting any noise, couldnt hear my music couldnt hear notifications ringer was silent so i rebooted again thought maybe it was a glitch and it was a no go

*Titanium backup lag like most G2 kitkat roms
*Not a bug just don't want it mentioned - No cm cLock, for some reason that app on this phone can do a battery drain in 3 hours

Make sure you are rooted with a custom recovery
Download both the BeanStalk build and the latest GAPPs package.
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe /system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash BeanStalk build
Flash GAPPs package
Reboot
After installation go to Settings - Performance - Memory Management - Tick " Allow purging of assets " and reboot.
This is only necessary until I get a memory leak bug figured out. Fixed

The cyanogen lock clock was disabled for the moment because it was causing a huge battery drain issue, which is probably why that one crashes
Next build the init.d section of the rom will be fixed:good:

I'll test for Verizon/vs980 was a big fan of beanstalk from the gnex days so can't wait to try it again! The knock off on status bar is a recently added kernel feature by CM that was also custom picked by Houstonn for the PA builds

Open rom zip with 7zip archive manager
extract meta info folder
replace meta info folder of rom by meta info folder which you extracted
close the 7zip archiver than flash the rom
if you are not doing this means you will get status7 error while installing rom

When choosing Battery Icon as Percentage, there is no animation that show it is charging...it's like SlimKat.

Its original un tweaked copy of bs
Which I compiled using bs source
Since bs is not supporting our device officially I kept it clean in case if they want to use my work for releasing official versions for tab2.....
That's why all my own mods and tweaks are not added here......
You guys will get one more rom called SOKP from my side and it will be my last rom for tab2 community......
It will have all stuffs like sungsonic ....even more than that......

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and has a lot of added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!

Make sure you are rooted with a custom recovery
Download both the BeanStalk build and the latest GAPPs package.
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe /system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash BeanStalk build
Flash GAPPs package
Reboot
After installation go to Settings - Performance - Memory Management - Tick " Allow purging of assets " and reboot.
This is only necessary until I get a memory leak bug figured out. Fixed

Edit: I was trying to take a video of Riley in Call of Duty Ghosts (he's so adorable!) and noticed the video wasn't working. I've posted a build that uses the newest proprietary blobs and it seems to be fixed. If you experience data connection issues, rebooting twice or three times seems to work.

It was posted an hour ago. Not sure what kind of feedback from a ROM you can get in one hour, but best bet would be to flash it and give it a run.
I think deliberate was using the files from jackpotcalvins 4.4 cm build, and this is using dr87's source which I don't think is built using the same source files. (it might be though).

The major difference is that the battery behaves normally. In the Deliberate's version of the ROM, there was a bug that manifested as high CPU usage with SurfaceFlinger, and this bug had nothing to do with what Deliberate did. I think it was a kernel level issue.
With Deliberate's build, I only got about 5 hours battery since the CPU usage was always high (the 4th core was always on, for some strange reason). dr87's kernel sources, which utilize JackpotCalvin's sources, seem to have resulted in the disappearance of this bug. Hence, the MAJOR difference is that this version of Beanstalk is usable as a daily build, because it has a vastly improved battery life.

I was wondering about bluetooth connectivity, I have had an issue with losing the pair between the phone and the car audio system when the screen sleeps.

Can I replicate that by connecting a Bluetooth headset, playing music (via bluetooth), turning off the display manually, and seeing if the music is still playing? I just tried that out and there is no loss in pairing.

Hey, if it works with Malladus, and not with ROMs, I'm pretty sure it's not your car =). If you have any ways to replicate this issue, please do tell!

Seems its happening with the latest C-Rom, which I really like.

Whats your idea of fantastic battery life? Can you give us some averages or perhaps an idea of what you are experiencing? Thanks dude.

I did a clean install coming from Carbon and couldn't get any cell signal. I'll wipe and try again.
Edit:Blank screen second time around, reboot did the trick to get it back and I have data this time.

Have you, or anyone else that has flashed this really, noticed redraws on signal when in a low service area?
All 4.4 base aosp I've tried as of late has terrible redraws when signal drops and comes back. Crashes anything I open.
Won't have w chance to flash this till this evening.

Thanks for trying to fix the data. Both of us came to the same solution that, oddly, flashing/rebooting twice seems to fix the data issue. No clue why.

Anyone else having issues or not??

I'm still getting the blank screen sporadically after reboot. I get the LG splash screen then nothing, rebooting it again usually fixes it.

Thank you for the ROM. I can't seem to find the link to the GAPPS. Where it says Gapps in the OP it says "see download link below". But in the download link I just see the two beanstalk roms from 5.23.14 and 5.27.14. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to give this a flash and see how it runs. Thanks again!

Settings > Developer options > Enable Force GPU rendering
Settings > Beanstalk options > Beanstalk Init.d scripts > Clear cache
Settings > Beanstalk options > Beanstalk Init.d scripts > Enable speedy modified (This may cause graphical issues. If it is bothering you disable this option)
Settings > Beanstalk options > Beanstalk Init.d scripts > Enable loopy smoothness
Don't make app drawer background transparent (instead it should be opaque for best performance)/
Use Greenify to hibernate memory hungry apps that constantly run in the background.

Wow, thanks for your sharing. Do not know this rom has battery drain? I've used most of the 4.4.4 rom as LX, Carbon, C-rom rom but always drain the battery. Can not deep sleep. I'll flash and leave feedback. Hope rom fast, smooth and stable.

using kernel in zip-
720 recording not working/480 is working and camera is working.
seems pretty fast and is smooth.
rebooted the phone and the screen just went nuts,constant flickering.
browser works no lag
back to c-rom until bugs are fixed

does not work...

I have this weird problem of rotation . Rotation is locked and cant be fixed even i click it for unlock or lock . its still locked in portrait mode.
