[KERNEL] WerewolfJB kernel alpha 1 CM10.1 - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hi,
Question for @laufersteppenwolf when the new kernel will be available?

Come on! Don't ask developers for ETA!! :banghead:

When it is ready, and that's the only answer you will get off any dev for any piece of software

Need Urgent Help on Samsung Tab P1000!!

Hey guys, i'm leaving tomorrow to another country where i will have trouble with internet so i'm trying to solve this tonight!
I just bought a galaxy tab with android 2.2. It's the GSM model and i really need to update my tab to android 4 to get all the apps working, i've no trouble if GSM function gets disabled on android 4, i only need wireless camera and a stable ROM.
Please please please post me some links so i can get this to work tonight!
thanks a million
All CM 10 ROMs are stable as they are CM based so you may try the base CM10 by CDESAI or AOKP by Stimpzor milestone 6 these are 4.1.2
You also have CM10.1 ROMs which they are stable to some degree but they still have some bugs.
I am not saying that a ROM is better than another but these what I test or prefer.
Last you should ask this in general or Q&A section.

Even though I shouldn't be bumping a non-development topic in a development forum - I do have to correct one point in salahmed's reply: AOKP SGT7 milestone 6 is 4.0.4 (ICS), not 4.1.2 (JB).
Purely to avoid confusion to anyone that reads this.

[Q] Now that we have Jelly Bean, will we start to see Custom Roms?

I've just come from an HTC Incredible S with Cyanogenmod 10 (4.2.1) and I've noticed there's not too many custom Roms in the development section.
Is there a certain function that devs are waiting to be released? I miss my DashClock widget
We're waiting for source code and a way to unlock non euro bootloaders, if and when we get these we can expect cm10.1 from kholk and maybe some other stuff

[Q] Kernel to CM11 Official?

Hi All!
I need a custon kernel for my 4X on CM11 and I can't find any kernel on 4.4....Pls help.
Only kernels what I've seen was for CM10.1...
Sorry for my bad English.
From xda, search for:
-> WerewolfJB kernel v10
-> iodak kernel v10
-> Optimus Prime v3.0
-> Cyodak kernel
They are all Linux kernel 3.1 based and compatible with CM11. Kernels tagged with "anykernel" means, they meant to be compatible with any rom.
Also there is a kernel from mourta, which is version 3.4. You should search somewhere named "modaco" from web for that kernel. That kernel is "anykernel" too and should work with CM11 but you must experiment yourself for the most suitable kernel for your needs.
Big thanks!
I was not sure that would fit for CM11, which is why I ask.
What would you recommended me?
I am seeking a fast and stable kernel for games, but also to work. Top of OTG.
Sorry for my bad English.

Request for Custom Kernel

Hey guys plz complie a custom kernel for our mi5 and make it more battery efficient and super performance device plz complile best kernel like
Franco Kernel
ElementalX Kernel
Phasma Kernel
Jolla Kernel
Dimfish Kernel
As all of us knw that kernel sources have been released so plz humble request thnx
Hi,
As much as I'd like to see a custom kernel, I am under the impression that I will have to wait for a long time for it to happen.
It seems the sources Xiaomi released can't be used out of the box and need a lot of work already.
So that would take some devs to pay attention to the Xiaomi mi5.
And with Nougat released, a bunch of them are already working on that... not on a MM device
So no... probably won't happen soon
