[Q] My phone random freeze with all froyo's release :s

Hi everyone !
Sorry to disturb you but i've a problem with my phone. When i start android, i can use it but randomly ma phone freeze and i can't do anything else... I'm forced to remobe the battery to turn off my phone..
Anyone have an idea to resolve this problem ? Thanks a lot !
(Ps : sorry for my english i'm french :s)

yeah me too, same problem, 2 months or older roms was working good, now i can't use any new builds (every xdandroid or neopeek's build with sp3dev or seandean kernels), always the same story, system boots ok, than after 30 seconds freeze, and i have to pull out battery...
????

Same for me, but i could use Android for even 10hours without freeze.
Now the same build like before, fresh instalation and it freezes...

Someone can help us ? :'(

hello,
try this:
1) remove the SIM and boot first wimo then android
2) check the mobile data connection put this off
3) reboot wimo and android and wait
4) when back to android check that you have the correct apn
5) if now you have a stable androi try to enable the mobile data connection
the above steps worked for me.

2 things that I can help you with is:
1. DONT install a lot of Apps
2. Keep a simple low res, .png wallpaper...

i can confirme that now it works!
i found another freeze cause: automatic setting of clock from network
and hw keys now works very well using seandean v4b normal kernel
so these steps should be more safe and complete:
1) remove the SIM and boot first wimo then android
2) check the mobile data connection put this off
3) disable automatic setting of clock
4) disable gps (just to save battery)
5) shutdown phone quickly at first boot or it will freeze
6) plugin SIM card
7) plugin wall charger and wait 10 second (wait for led flashing)
8) power on phone, winmo than haret and wait android is fully loaded
9) now you can unplug wall charger, and hw key will not die anymore
10) check that you have the correct apn
11) if now you have a stable android try to enable the mobile data connection
12) you're ready to use android without freeze
very soon we will have camera support too, and i hope new 3d driver (following htc touch pro 2), i hope our xperia one day will be at the same level of an HTC Hero (25/26fps at neocore)

Now it's fonctionnal for me too !! Thanks !! But i have an other problem... I can't download anything from the market !! (But my data connection works perfectely i can go on the web !!)

please disabled the overclock function.(remove "acpuclock.oc_freq_khz....." in startup file)
It'll be ok.

I will try the above mentioned tips and see if that helps me as well.
This thread really helped me, after several freezes and reboots yesterday I was ready to let go of Android for the X1 for good. This thread gave me some new hope
edit: After a couple of hours, no freeze, no reboots BUT just had the "button freezes" problem and had to reboot. Using the latest faryabb's ext2 build.

I had some serious crashes with that one leading to a non usable installation. He's apparently looking into some applications that he thinks might be the cause of this...

Problem! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly

I already read some other threads with the same name but nothing really like my problem.
I inserted another person's sim card and after i turned on the phone it started giving me "Sorry! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly... Force Close. "
But its showing up all the time, one after another. I press Force Close and then another pops up. I can';t even navigate in my phone, i can't do anything but turn it off.
Basiclly i am stuck with 400 euro, phone that just gives errors and is totally unusable.
My phone has stock software, not rooted.
When I got the phone I was so happy...and soon the bsod problems started and I was forced to buy a new one (I see what you did there LG) - but i chose Sony Ericsson this time.

Try to root your phone and install a Clockwork Recovery. Then from the Advanced menu in the recovery choose Fix permissions. Restart the phone and see if it is fixed. If it isn't just flash a custom ROM. This will probably do the job.

This might be a hardware problem or a software problem. Since you didn't root the device you can just go back to the store and ask them to repair it or send it to LG or whatever they can do (because you still have your warranty... right?). Why didn't you go back to the store in the first place?

The problem is after i click on Force Close, it gives me another error too fast and i can't click on anything(I can't really install or use any app). Its like windows errors when you get one error like thousand times and you keep on clicking and clicking and there's no end.
Restarting the phone does nothing.
And yes I already talked with support and Im going to give it back for repair. I don't think its a hardware problem, its the crappy software LG made. I didn't send it back because I could live with 3-4 bsod per week, but now that... Plus im from Bulgaria and the user above knows how long it takes to get your phone back

Okay. Then, try these steps. You don't need to install anything on your phone. You will install a new stock firmware using smartflash. I think this is the only way to fix your phone in a situation like this. Follow the steps:
1. Download Smartflash and its drivers from here and after that install the drivers.
2. Now choose a firmware from here and download it.
3. Run the SmartFlashTool_P990.exe executable.
4. Turn off the phone, remove battery, plug USB in and hold the Power + Volume down keys until you see the software update message - the COM ports field in the SmartFlash program will be filled in automatically
5. Now follow this image:

Also I can call, send sms, mms... I can connect on WiFi, GPS is working too... What is a problem? What can I do? How to do it?

Yes do what gkostadinov said and that will fix your phone back to stock, then root and flash clockworkmod recovery you can use the clockworkmod app from android market to do this once you have rooted.
The pick a nice fast custom rom and profit.

Id suggest using the samsung pc studio(I dont know if it does but there should be some support on updating the phone software) to flash stock rom. Or flash a custom rom if you prefer. If you are able to use the phone and click on the screen then its not a problem to do so.

My problem was different as my phone was basically unable to do anything.
I had it returned to service as I didnt saw gkostadinov reply on time.

Same happened for me some time back. It was caused by google+. try uninstalling and re-installing the google+ app from the market.

I once used hp kernel rc11 and got the same issues. I just reflashed it with the stable version (sr2). Problem solved.

I get this issue when ever I try to toggle between 2G/3g OR toggle data. I am on the latest Cm7 nightly and recently flashed vadonka's 32M_S kernel . This problem occurred some times randomly while on the Cm7 kernel but now it happens almost all the time when I toggle 2G/3G . @vadonka: I can help you with the logs if you wish to look into this

Please help me out.I brought my phone 1 week back and installed cyanogenmod 7 on it.But after using it I thought its not so good in terms of look.So I decided to revert it back.I downloaded andoird 2.2 firmware from LG website and used KDZ to install it.But when I was installing it phone restarted automatically and LG logo appears and a black screen came.I tried to install many time but still stuck on this.Please help me..I blocked my internet connection and I tried with different modes like emergency and diag and disabled LG modem in device manager.Nothing is working.Please help me and whether I can get it to LG service center and whether they can find it out that I flash my phone.So that I can repair it telling it is in warranty.Please help me guys.This is my first android phone.

I installed a custom rom but need stock again...

Hi i installed a custom rom to check if my gps would work. Cause it dindnt on the stock rom.
Now i need to send my gsm for repairs this week but i need my stock rom again...

I installed another rom based on stock rom cause there wasn't any real stock rom online...
Now my phone is bricked 100% it stays rebooting the LG logo, my CWM ist'n accesible anymore even.....
Can anyone plz help me? i need to send my phone in for my GPS repair but i cant send it like this...

For anyone getting this problem too, make sure you had CWM installed, and keep trying too boot phone while holding volume down. Than i installed my previous stable custom rom again NOVA HD which is very good!
But now i still need my stock rom back, can anyone still help me??

I managed to get back to my stock rom!
After receiving a brick!!
What i did was just try to get into the cmw install my stable rom again so my phone wouldn't reboot each 2sec.
Than i followed this tut for nvflash wich was really great!

[Q] A500s Returned from Service Center with Network Problem

Hi Friends,
My friend's A500s had some power on/off issue. So he gave the phone to Xolo Service center. After 25 days, it has come back with the problem fixed. But both the SIMs' Network are gone. Everything else works fine. It seems the Service center flashed his phone with Baseband Version Modem_XOLO_A500s_S014_13092013
The Phone Recognizes the SIM cards without any issue. But no signal. It searches for Signal constantly with "Magnifying Glass" like tiny icon over the Signal Indicator. And a tiny X mark for rest of the time.
Bluetooth works
Wifi Works
FM Radio Works
Everything else Works
He doesn't want to give again to XOLO service center as he needs the phone for next week. He can't wait for another 25 days.
I installed CWM and Flashed with a Custom ROM but the Signal issue persists.
I would like to know what I should do to get the signal back...
1. Change the baseband or Downgrade it to 08082013?
2. Any other Custom ROM?
3. Any setting tweaks to be done?
or Any Hardware issue that we can't do/ Resubmit the phone to the same Xolo service center?
Right now, My friend can't afford another phone.

I flashed with SP Flash Tool earlier.. Stock ROM was from Androidxda site.

The stock rom and sp flash tool.Just follow the tutorial and you can do it well.
Download VCOM drivers of micromax a110 from google
They work.When u connect phone to pc with battery removed ,install driver then.

In the meanwhile, I rooted another fine working A500s and took a backup using CWM. I restored the problematic A500s (Using CWM) with Good A500s' Backup file. Baseband reverted to old 08082013 S011. But the problem persists.
Just now noticed, Front Camera quality sucks to the core.. worst.. before giving for service it was decent to make a video call..
I finally try once with your Stock ROM... If it doesn't work, I have to ask my friend to return the device to the same service center.

I am new to this Forum though I have been following it for a long time.. Just now I learnt to thank properly.. I mean just now noticed "Thank" button..
I checked the link you provided.. The links are dead.. S007 is very old.. the phone had come with S011.. Service center updated it to S014..
I went through the links.. hmmm.. Not working.. I already know how to root and flash.. all I need is a ROM or Baseband file to rectify the Network issue.. I tried everything I could..:crying:
