Kernel Tweaker.. it has some of the options.. *root*

Just root permission won't do it, you need custom kernel which supports under voltage and kernel manager there are some good ones out there

If you're still on Sony ICS stock rom, take a look at the Siyah kernel; otherwise you'll have to wait until some developer makes one.

Don't flash a kernel that is not compatible with your phone for a start
Reflash whatever rom you're using or a kernel that IS compatible to fix the problem.

Hello mate!
in case you're not aware yet,
we now have a Kowalsky Kernel ported to our device. Go check the forum for SU660

Sweep2wake Logo2menu etc.

Does viperROM come with logo2menu, logo2wake, back2menu, or sweep2wake? If so, how do you enable them?

Those are kernel features and usually come pre enabled, a kernel that I would suggest for that kind of stuff would be wolfpack, it's in original development.

Does that specific kernel affect performance at all? I know viper boy emphasized performance and stability on his ROM so I wouldn't want to mess that up.
Increesed performance for me

Lol congrats on your 500th post.
But yeah anyways, do you know if there's how-to a video on installation of the wolfpack kernel? I searched around, can't seem to find it.
Just wipe cache and dalvik and flash the zip like a ROM.

I once asked kasper_h for that, you need to recompile the kernel with changed values to 0 mA.
But I couldn't try it since my HD has not enough space.

Yes you can do that.
But if you want, I can start on my kernel for you guys, with the inclusions of LED control and etc.

A custom kernel for cm10 4.1.2 would be great.
Sent from my OptimusBlack using xda app-developers app
A echo command shouls be enough. Maybe someone with ICS can check, which file is being changed, when you switch leds from on to always off. It should be one value going from 1 to 0 or vice versa. Just check it out, try the same on cm10, since it uses the same drivers and enjoy. I cant test it, cause I dont have time and I am not using ICS.

[Q] What is the best kernel for stock?

Which kernel is the best on stock based roms? vKernel, stock kernel, or Doom Kernel? Or some other one I haven't heard of yet?

no one can answer this except yourself
Try them and see..
Some people like anchovies on their pizza and say that's the best, some disagree, both are right, both are wrong..its a personal preference

that's fine, but don't expect anything definitive and in the past these kind of threads just end up in arguments..
The best thing I have found is to try them yourself.
Give each kernel a week and see which you prefer...
And read the respective threads so you can see if there are problems or bugs in the kernels that interfere with your needs
