O2x bootloop after unlocking boot loader - LG Optimus 2x

Hello everyone
So I have fully rooted phone which I've been using for a long time with CM10.1, I just wanted to flash cwm from 6.0.3.1 to same version with cwm touch support but I couldn't because of many errors in ADB and other programs like All in one tool kit and others. So again, I got an error that I couldn't flash a new cwm, I don't know why but I thought of unlocking boot loader again.... that was really stupid, why I had to do that I don't know I thought the errors would go away... but now I have some crappy old lg logo which I had a year ago like I just bought a phone, now I cant get past or even see CM boot logo, just the red old lg logo. So I guess that's what is called boot loop? Its not first time I got this problem and fixed it somehow, but now I don't know what to do because I cant even get into cwm, the only way to get in there is to flash cwm again and if I power off my phone the combinations of cwm doesn't work, so that's why I need to flash again so that it could launch cwm automatically. Did I messed up my boot partitions or something ?
Things I have:
6.0.1.5 cwm from nv flasher
CM10.1 a new nightly in my phones internal memory (I install them like 2 times a week through cwm without problems) which I thought could fix everything by installing a rom with not messed up system files (I've put it into phone before this problem occurred)
but I cant install any zip from sdcard like I did every time before because it sais E:Cant mount /sdcard/ (WHAT???)
I don't have any backups -_-
internal and external memory which are both full and cant access in cwm by pressing mount usb storage, it doesn't work..... So it means I cant make a backup in cwm.
Things I want to do:
Get back to phones previous state. I think its possible because its not like I have erased the data, I just messed up boot partitions, yes ?
I also don't want to loose my data on sdcard/emmc or what ever its called. (on my phone both internal/external memories are called sdcard). Ofcourse if there is a way to somehow make a backup without cwm then Its okay if loose my data, then I can do a factory reset.
Maybe I cant install zip from sdcard because this cwm is bad? Will a newer version also say that I cant mount sdcard (I never had this problem in any cwm's that I have used).
I hope someone can suggest me something . If I wrote something not clear or haven't said some details, tell me I'll try to explain.
!EDIT: Ok I've managed to fix that lol.
Things that I've done:
used All in one kit option called "flash stock rom" (even if I have already a custom rom, not stock ) then installed older cwm, it was version 5 it had a good working "mount usb storage" so my pc recognized the phone and I placed new CM rom into my sdcard (external). So after I flashed the rom, installed cwm5, I fixed permissions just in case, then deleted cache partition and dalvik cache, then installed that CM rom, somehow it still had an old boot logo and was still stuck in boot loop, then again after I used All in one kit and flashed stock rom I saw my new lg logo (black and white, not the broken one with red lg circle) so I just normally booted up phone from cwm and I have everything back without any data loss.

LG optimus 2x bootloop after failed cyanogen mod

Hello!
Today, i decided to install cyanogemmod on my 2x. So i downloaded ROM manager and downloaded cyanogenmod. everything went fine until i was going to boot for the first time. I got into a bootloop. so i tried taking out the battery and all that stuff but it still would't work. So i tried to recover the phone. I recovered it to a month old backup (I could not find the one i made in ROM manager before i installed cyanogenmod) The recovery went fine. But, when i rebooted it got into a loop on the lg logo! (the one without the loading bar) it would just load the lg logo, be there for like 10sec, then it would do the same. I tried recovering one more time, but it didn't work. The same thing happend. What should i do? :S Should i wipe data/factory reset?
EDIT: My phone was on android 2.3.4 before i download cyanogenmod.
BTW before i installed cyanogenmod, i forgot to clear cache and data. I was in a hurry so i did't notice the screen popping up, I automatically pressed "ok" without selecting anything.
Thanks for the help

Different partitions... Look for something called backtoext3 in the dev section (or somewhere else) The problem is that when you flash a custom rom like CM you convert your filesystem to EXT4, while stock is EXT3.
So basically what you have to do is:
1) Reboot into recovery
2) Wipe everything
3) Flash Backtoext3 zip
4) Restore Nandroid.
This should work. this will take you back to stock.
So i have to restart the phone, Choose wipe data/factory reset, then flash backtoext3 (how do i do it? lol) then restore nandroid (the backup i just tried to restore twice?)

Yes
Flashing backtoext3 is just flashing the zip file you put on the sd card. (and then install zip from SD ) an then restore your nandroid stock backup and you're back on stock.
But you said you wanted to try CM right? In that case, wipe everything (factory reset/data + cache + dalvik) and then flash the CM7 rom and you have CM! Don't worry about backtoext3, your partitions are already on EXT4, because of your prior CM flash.
Ohh! Thanks Can you send the files for cm (2.3.4)? I've found some, but im not sure if my phone is compitable with them :S im really afraid to mess something up again
My. Signature. (CM7 temasek's KANG = the best CM7 at the moment )
I did everything and i got into a bootloop at the skating andriod screen again
OK, restored my phone back... Now it wont connect to the network and the battery has a question mark inside it. It also says the battery level is 999% heelp
Nvm, got my phone back to normal still dont understand why cm wont work...
You need cwm5 to flash cm.
I have a G2x, which is basically the same phone. But anyway, I would recommend nvflashing CWM and not getting it from ROM Manager.
CWM 5.0.2.0 will do just fine, but it is indeed old...
Anyway, are you sure you waited long enough on the CM boot screen? The first boot might take a couple of minutes. (4 or 5)

[Q] Samsung Galaxy I9000 Does not Boot

I tried to flash CWM10 into my Samsung Galaxy I9000 Device And here's what happened:
I got into the CWM Recovery screen and chose install from sdcard (after a wipe data + wipe cache factory ofcourse).
Everything seem to go OK, no errors or special things, but when I restarted the device to boot into Android OS, it just came back to the CWM Recovery screen.
Since then, I have tried to install many other ROMS and the phone simply won't boot to android OS.
I have also noticed that usually after a successful ROM flash, folders are created in the internal SD card a thing which DID NOT happen this time.
The only difference that the new ROMS installation does is change the CWM Recovery version/Mod.
So basically, I am stuck at CWM Recovery Screen.
I am clueless and I will really appreciate any thing you can.
Any thoughts?

cos of new partitions u have to install 1 ROM 2x. sometimes 3x. thats all.
so take ur cm10 zip and flash it. after reboot to recovery just flash the same file again.

Weird CWM behaviour

Hello!
Before I want to go on to CWM I want to tell you what happened before.
Yesterday I flashed TWRP recovery which resulted in a really bad situation. I was stuck in recovery. If I pressed reboot it went straigt to recovery again, even if I pulled out the battery. So flashed the stock firmware via the KDZ flashing method and everything worked again.
Then I rooted again, installed CWM, installed CM, installed all my apps (TB backup on PC was quite old),....
So all in all it was a big amount of work and it took me a few hours.
Then everything was working again as it should and I updated all my TB backups and then I wanted to make a Nandroid backup so that I wouldnt have to do all that flashing and installing again.
So I went to recovery--> backup and restore --> backup
But it didnt finish. It always stopped with this error: Error while meaking a backup image of /system!
So i thought maybe I should install everything again, which i did. (I had already made a TB backup of all my apps, so i thought this woulb be done fast)
Well, went to recovery again, did a factory reset, wiped dalvik cache and even formated /system. Then I installed the latest CM + GAPPS and rebooted.
And the first thing i recognized was that the screen popped where it says "android is upgrading". And I wondered even more when I realized that all my apps where stille there. So obviously the factory reset and also format /system didnt work properly.
If I format /system and dont install any ROM then the device doesnt boot (which i guess is the normal behaviour). But what I want to say is that the format works there but if I flash CM afterwards all my apps are still there (despite the fact that i also did a factory reset).
All in all the phone does work normal now, but I'm not able to make a Nandroid backup and I'm really wondering why.
(I also reflashed CWM recovery but that didnt change anything)
I would be glad if s1 could help me.
PS: Could the solution be to flash stock again via KDZ and then do everything from the beginning?
Never heard of anything like this before.
Did you flash the recovery as a .IMG or through Rom manager (I would suggest to flash it with Rom manager).
Try this and report back (maybe your recovery image is damaged or smth.)

I have no idea what caused this crazy behavoiur of CWM, but I started over again with flashing kdz and now everything is fine
Maybe your SD card is full. Try deleting a few files from your SD and then do the backup.

I dont have any external sd card and on phone memory there were more than 10GB free space

[Q] accessing external SD from recovery?

So I rooted my daughters samsung SGH-T599N, and installed philz touch and was planning on putting a custom rom on the phone. unfortunately out of habit, I put the rom file, and gapps file on the external SD, booted to recovery.. wiped cache, dalvik and factory reset to install a new rom. Unfortunately this device will not access the external SD card through the recovery, and now the phone just gets stuck with the samsung logo when turned on (so i cant turn debugging on again).... I can't get odin, or any other program to read and connect properly.... and now I'm stuck... I have been searching online for several days now trying to find a solution, but have come up empty. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.. I was even thinking to use adb to transfer files over but have been unsuccessful as of yet ...
sorry to burst your bubble but this exhibit 4g section is for T679 version.

do you have cwm installed? if so you could boot into that and in the advanced menu there's an option called mount usb storage. just make sure your phone is plugged into your computer boot into cwm and then advanced/mount usb storage, then open my computer and your external drive should so up also your internal I believe, so you could transfer your new rom and gapps to a new location of your choice.. though i'm not sure how you'd would do this on odin or other recovery software.
I actually had philz touch cwm installed, but I resolved the problem by flashing back to stock with odin in recovery mode... turns out this device just doesnt read external sd from recovery. adb push didnt work, sideload didnt work..lol . But good ole odin saved my butt again
this thread is a lifesaver---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2503550
i have the t599 using it now. got twrp from vanir rom after getting cwm and root. then flashed rom over. been messing with both vanir and carbon. but anyways i can flash from sdcard and extsd. only issue i have at the moment with new roms. after installing 2 games i have 0 freespace on /data. then again i dont use my phone much and just too lazy to find a workaround atm.
also everything ya need to know for the t599 is here as far as recoveries, custom roms, etc

Bad situation, need some help. Only TWRP on phone nothing else.

OK.
So I'm going to sell my G-Flex. I thought I would just flash it to stock with my .tot file that I have used before. Bad idea it seems when I had custom recovery installed (TWRP).
Now I have a phone with only TWRP on it as LG Flash Tool just wiped and did not flash when it noticed the custom recovery. So now I don't even have fastboot just the recovery. So I can't install the stock recovery as I have no fastboot.
However if I enter "backup" in TWRP it shows only my data is 0mb. The rest seems normal with a /system that is 1690mb and modem and cache seems present. Just no data.
My situation would be better if I had a backup? Well. I don't anymore.
Is there an obvious way I have missed that can fix the phone easily? Tried flashing the MIUI ROM for starters (even though it's missing /system) but I always get error that it can't mount /data , /mpt and /storage and I count mount them in the settings in TWRP.
So all I can get in to is download mode (which I can't flash my .tot from now) or TWRP that is the only thing that boots automatically at every boot.
I had the same problem last week when I tried to install a custom font through Rom Toolbox. ( I was boot looping and could not get computer to recognize device in download mode. Could only get into TWRP) Unfortunately, I had no backup through TWRP that I could restore.
I was finally able to get my Flex up and running by downloading D-Fuse's stock 4.2.2 zip to a flash drive. ( A piece of advice... use a download accelerator on your pc. Otherwise your download could take HOURS. I used "DAP")
I then plugged my flash drive into my phone using a USB OTG cable. Mounted the USB/OTG In TWRP. And flashed the zip from there.
I'm now running smooth. You'll have to re-root and run Freedom Flex again to install TWRP as the stock zip will replace your custom recovery with the stock one. Make a new backup in case you have more issues in the future.
Hope this helps.
Thanks I'll look into it when I get home from work today. Though I have no flash drive for it nor cable.
I can ADB my phone while in recovery and push ROM files to the sdcard. Problem is that I have pushed stock ROM zip 4.4 and tried to flash but it always fails to mount data and mpt for some reason when flashing. Not sure flashing from USB would make a difference.
I know I have myself to blame but this phone has given me a few headaches. I'm just tired of it and might as well cut the loses if things gets too complicated as I plan on using my Nexus 5 anyway from now on.
No matter I fixed it just now. It worked to flash with LG Flash Tool this time. I changed its "action mode" from upgrade dl to board dl and it flashed just fine. Felt a little adventurous there for a while.
I have never had an issue with the flash tool writing over TWRP. But try the LG PC Suite software your phone loaded on your PC. Or download it from lg.com. and open it then at top select mobile devices. Put phone in download mode and then under mobile devices select option restore upgrade errors. That has restored my phone the last 12-15 times I've f#$ed it up. It doesn't seem to have an issue regardless what is modded or added to the phone. Custom recovery or not it works great for me. And youll be unroofed stock out the box with the latest version as well. Bit it will reformat your whole phone. Erases everything. So hope you've backed up to PC already.
