Great Job team,
I love the NFC polling mode where you can choose for it to work on lock screen or display off. Also having the soft keys off by default.
Would be good to include cyanogenmod file manager by default on the rom build. As I keep my apps on the SD card. would allow ease of access to install files.

one sall issue i'm facing is the incompatibility of the current kernel .. causing a little lag in the UI
If u could suggest a good kernel to go along with ur rom .. or maybe include in in the next update ... It'd make ur rom the best catch is the pool!

Erm there is no sound in video recordings is that normal other than this one problem i love this rom..

Great to see a dedicated thread for this ROM!!
99% of apps working perfectly and ROM is very smooth.
Only two problem areas:
Camera works well but pics are only visible from camera app when saved to internal storage.
Video worked first time (with no sound) and then had to reboot to get it to capture.
did a complete wipe and clean install (as usual).
anyone get a fix for camera storage and video sound?

The development for this is dead or what. I really like the rom and refuse to change it due to the amount of customization available. But while recording a video sound doesn't work i might have to switch soon. Unless i can figure out what i have to replace or fix to get it working.

basically the difference to maclaws n mine ones is, that the version of maclaw is messed up withh different mods!
like reboot menu option, sound instead of camera toggle on lockscreen! and this is a clean almost bugfree version of clean aosp without any modifications ^^

You can hide reboot menu option and change toggle in lockscreen simply editing 2 lines in build.prop. You and me can already use stable and clean AOSP ICS.

What about fm radio.. As that is now been added in 4.2.2 also.. Can u add that toh this rom and tell us more about battery life.... By the way nobody likea spirit fm as that creates a big noise at start whoich actualy irritates and u wont feel like listening to radio any more....

Indeed. I've tried MacLaw's version and you can tell it's all messed up. Not to mention it has multiple bugs (for eg., native USB/Wifi tethering, Wifi direct and VPN are not working). And battery drains a lot (it doesn't even last a day!...).
So thank you OldDroid for compiling a clean AOSP ICS :good:

I found some minor issues (that are happening to me anyways), other than the ones you mentioned.
1) Android is slow when installing apps
2) Netflix app - > video's do not play video (black screen), but yet I hear sound...also I can see the video when I skip
3) You said Automatic Screen Brightness is working...its not. (Don't think it can on the ace, can it?)
4) Compass is wrong, and very 'jumpy'
5) Second boot logo Gio GT-S5660

You can always add livewallpaper picker.apk to yuor system to enable the support !

I don't believe in scripts to improve overall performance...maybe in specific use-cases it can help, but not in general.
Well its booting faster since we can disable bootanimation,we are able to customize ui as we like,i think its great,i dont know though something,can aokp for p970 be updated when cm is updated too,even if cm10.1 gets changes for our phone spesifically?

CM10.1 and AOKP are separately updated. Important updates in CM are often quickly ported to AOKP. I use a common device tree for building Mackay ROM and AOKP, so all p970-specific changes for CM are also applied for AOKP.
I have to say that´s really good. Smooth and fast. I love more Paranoid ROMS but these is supperbbb! Great work

Due to general problems with Performance Options, they have been removed from AOKP.

Same issues as all JB4.2 ROMs (battery drain relatively high, camera (especially video) buggy).

This is normal for AOKP, it has no launcher settings and as I mentioned before p970 has buggy video recording.

I meant JB4.2 for p970, not JB4.2 in general. On my Galaxy S, both Mackay ROM and Infamous AOKP work perfectly fine.
Wifi tether doesnt work, but usb tether is just fine. It looks fast, but lets give it a shot after instaling more apps.

The normal cause of this is running Halo. You need to disable Halo before installing anything and reenable it afterwards.
Not sure as I can't see Halo mentioned in the OP though, but I guess you have installed it yourself.
That was it. But halo is included in the rom. I had not even installed.

Home doesn't work using the hardware key or even from navbar. Decided to change it inside Hardware Keys options then reboot.... Stuck on bootanimation...
Edit: works now... Forgot GApps.....
Fast rom, smooth and battery friendly. Will try it for a time now and see if it will be the rom to stay on, in the hunt of my personal favorite. This has a big chance to be it i can say :good:

ABOUT HEISENBERG ROM
I am proud to present to you Heisenberg Rom.
This is a build composed off of the AOKP builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability.
Many of the additional code additions came from AICP ROM and have been modified to work with my current setup.
A huge thanks to AICP guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with AOKP as that is the building stone in this project.
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back!!

If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data in recovery
Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP

Just some suggestion
1)This rom have a lot of optimization using dalvik mode,it run as smooth as hell so I don't suggest you to run ART (wait lollipop version to use it)
2)If you want a full customization of hardware keys install this xposed module

4)Change this setting to speed up your sistem
- Display-->crt animation--->set "Fade" .... using this option remove lag and animation blink when wake up/down your device
-Under "developer option"

-Phone automatically reboot when you apply a theme (it work anyway)

There is a wakelock features inside the rom, I never seen your option inside privacy guard
great work. thanks for the ROM. tried it and its so smooth and fast. unbelievable much modifications are integrated and let you modify every aspect of the ROM which is so good.
I just experienced high ram usage but anyway still no lag. keep continue the developing.

How to Install:

sorry guys, this is now already 5th device i maintain by myself + rom development.... cant handle much more. so no other variants will be added for now. if some1 wants to build it though, he is free to do so.

There's option for battery light in sound and notification setting but no option for navbar. also swiping keyboard didn't work on stock keyboard. else, great

battery light option !? do you mean the LED when for example charging the phone the LED turns on?
