Notification Toggles - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Just wanted to share Power Toggles from the play store. It works and looks great for peeps stock and not rooted. It also allows for two rows of toggles as well as pinch for expanded toggles and is free.

GSam battery monitor is another great app giving screen on time as well as a lot of info including battery temps.

Good find. Trying to keep it stock for a while and it's the little things like this that are bugging me most

If anyone is looking for a ROM that has some nice notification toggles, the ViperROM is very stable and actively supported & updated. It also gives you the option to remove Power Saver from the drop-down menu.

What's your favorite power widget?

I miss the power widget that was packaged in the original loader, it's not worth going back just for the widget. What are your favorites?

What's wrong with the power widget in the pull down notification bar? I still have that after flashing the decrapped rom, and I love it.

Gotcha - the only widget I used on my Moto Droid was the stock Android 2.2 widget, so the notification bar widget is enough for my needs - it's basically the same thing only in a more convenient place
I'll take a look at the droid built in app. Thanks Ben. What I'm missing is the grouped switches on one widget. That and to be able to turn off sync without digging in settings.

I use "Free Power Widget"...im just trying it out, but will probably pay for the full version as I think its pretty good and customizeable...So far so good.
Just tried Extended Controls and Widgetsolid but both have broken functions e.g. gps and sync.

[ROM][AOSP] Primerunner

Encouraged by the people in the Trinity Four Thread, I'd like to present the Primerunner on XDA. It aims to be a simple and lightweight rom based on AOSP. Stability is also of critical concern to me. Should be usable as a daily driver.
It was initially built -with fun in mind- for my friends and me, but I was persuaded to share it, so here you are.
Some features of the rom
Primerunner^TM navbar - automatic layout change from 3 to 4 buttons
enhanced QuickSettings with support for long-press/click
pulling notifications in the top-right corner opens QS
custom bootanimation by uRRs
custom navbar icons by uRRs (moved to a separate zipthemer addon)
custom wallpapers by buddhalou
Koush's Superuser
enhanced power menu, only visible if unlocked
notification led customization
theme engine
minimal options
loads of bugfixes and optimizations "under the hood"
built from source
bull****-free
Extras
uRRs' Predator-style ZipThemer softkeys, packaged by @smenes
simple Primerunner wallpapers by @buddahlou
Sony Sketch fonts by @smenes
Primerunner theme engine theme (beta)
Still some things to do...
various cosmetics, theming
own settings front-end for QS, sync tile
move wallpaper contributions to own apk done
persistent Primerunner navbar mode
other things i probably don't remember
...
Shout-outs
for keeping their source open all the time. Couldn't have learned so much how things work in Android without them:
everyone living out the open-source philosophy, especially
the Evervolv team
the CyanogenMod team
the AOKP team

Instructions
download and flash via recovery (gapps already included)
flash your favorite kernel afterwards, if applicable
if you're coming from another rom, perform a wipe first
it is rumored that a wipe is not always needed, but this is unsupported here
Complete history

Downloads
Get Primerunner within the thread, via Rom Manager or here:

Feel free to request features, but be aware that I won't include them necessarily if I don't see a reason.
New versions are released whenever I find spare time to work on the rom (or if a critical bug is fixed).
Enjoy!

Been running this ROM for 2 days since stumbling across it in the trinity thread; hands down one of the smoothest and fastest Roms I've ever tried. Currently running it with Matrix 6.0 gpuOC and its smooth, fast and I'm getting amazing battery life. Love the auto 3 to 4 nav bar and custom icons (maybe prefer some different icons but they're cool). It's got all the tile options I need, only request would maybe be some percentage battery mods (which I'm sure there are some flash able ones I could apply but didn't want to risk messing up anything with your ROM as it's running so smooth!). Thanks for your great work
Oh, as mentioned above, long press volume to skip tracks would be awesome, saves me a lot when driving

A bit off topic but I just compared the details of your scores to mine (I'm running Jellybro) and noticed that the biggest difference between this ROM and mine is in the RAM performance. I'm getting identical scores in graphics and IO (I get 7391 IO in quadrant). I can also deduct from the scores that only the floating point performance is better while the integer is even. I do have slight clock advantage as I am running 1836.
I hope this info is helpful

graphics should be the same, as we are limited to 60fps(there are hacks to increase this, but its not a true more than 60 fps), the i/o should be similar as it will vary a little up/down per run.
I can't get the quick settings control panel to save to save the order I want the tiles to be in. Doesn't seem to change for me. Other than that this ROM is very nice and stable. Love the nav bar soft keys, very cool.

You have to enable the tiles in the order you want. After that, just reboot. Everything will be fine.
I know it's pesky. We got to deal with that, until we got a new settings frontend.

Quick Settings?

Hey guys,
So coming from Samsung I'm used to having quick setting toggles at the top of the notification area. For a while I have been using "Power Toggles" from the market place to place these toggles in the notification area, however, I have now come across this:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/add-sense-5-quick-settings-to-any-device/
Sense 5 quick settings?
Where the hell are these?
cheers guys,
raty
You need to download an app for it at this moment in time. HTC unfortunately removed these in Sense 5... for unknown reasons.
I use: Power Toggles

Cheers guys,
alreadying running power toggles so I do have them, just that article makes it seem like sense 5 has got quick toggles and im just being blind. Cheers for confirming my phone doesnt have toggles
Does trickdroid replace the apps that go missing when you unlock your bootloader? I love this phone and I'm familiar with rooting (rooted all of my android devices so far ) just dont want to miss out on anything. The one thing thats making me want to root is teaMseven's kernel to get some OC'ing and to make the htc button a menu key.
cheers,
raty
Yeah I'm pretty sure it keeps all the applications. I'm on ATT and it didn't even have all the apps like flashlight. TrickDroid added them though. So I'm pretty sure it adds the apps lost with bootloader unlock.

Possibility for a toggle mod for Android revolution Hd rom

I couldn't locate much but I was hoping to know if theres a toggle mod or anything for the android revolution Hd 10.2 Rom.
It's pretty convienent and incorporated in most other roms, then again the dev did make it to resemble stock look.
I looked under mods and tweaks ,but couldn't gather if any of them may have the toggles in any of them.
The stock widget power menu sucks .

Are you talking about quick toggles? If so, since ARHD10.2 is android 4.2.2, it has quick toggles built in. Access it by two finger swipe down on the status bar or press the grid button on the top right of the notification shade.

to be honest regarding Prime, I'm not really sure what it adds. I purchased that many years ago so I just am used to having it. I do use a gesture to swipe up on the app drawer icon in order to launch Google Now.
Here's an update, I changed my Desktop Grid to be 8 rows by 5 columns so I could do a 3x3 grid in the middle...
EDIT: I also found a font I really like in the Play Store... called Husser in the "Neat Fonts" package

yea i have my Google Now launching when i press the Home button when it's already on the home screen, i love nova it's so good. yea i don't see the benefit of Prime so i'll just stick to free
As far as I can tell, the only benefit with prime (for my needs) are the app drawer additions, such as hiding apps, tabs, tab groups, etc...and maybe icon size. I haven't upgraded to Prime yet, but seriously considering it just for those features.
I constantly use nova prime. Mostly with the swipe gestures to open apps or for dialing shortcuts.

Prime is well worth it in my opinion, especially for the gestures alone. I see myself using the feature all the time, for example I have the "Double Tap" set to the status bar; so when I double tap my screen the status bar dissapears/or reappears. Helps a lot with screen space (that status bar can be annoying).
The icon size is great if you're looking for something less in size, I tend to think the stock icon size is a bit over whelming.
