[icons] Your favorite icons...looking for the best

I realized I'm still using icon packs from my gingerbread days, decided to look around some local forums for something modern. I was surprised how nice the quality is on a few of these. I also realized all the fun stuff I'm missing by sticking strictly to the ns4g forum ( careful, dark waters)
Obviously this is not my work, period... just promoting a few things worth mentioning.
I'm happy to remove and add links upon request. Please feel free to link your favorites.

Will ad more as available. Installation instructions may differ, please refer to link. For the most part, icons are usually contained in a .zip file in .PNG format. You will need a home launcher capable of using custom icons. Simply navigate to the extracted zip file within your launcher by highlighting the icon ( using nova prime here) choose the correct icon.PNG and done. I'm sure that there are easier ways. If so, please let me know
Stock icons are located within the apk itself. To replace the icons in a stock launcher, you can manually replace them one by one. Not sure of the exact process there, maybe someone can elaborate.

Nice choices, you have good taste. The three packs you've linked are sweet - nice departure from the ubiquitous square miui-style icons.
I can't track down links while on my phone, but my faves are Scrambble (yes, 2 B's), Darkerize, and Rounds v1. I'll try to post links when I get to a PC, but the last two are found in xda and Scrambble came from Droid Pirate.

Cool stuff, really polished work

I'm partial to the Eyefold icons for ADW. Yeah they're old... but what's great is there is an icon for EVERYTHING. And what you can't find with the given Eyefold icons, you can download from the app "ThaIconUltimate".

Idk if they are technically 3D but they definitely have some interesting layers.

2) If you don't have photoshop but want a particular app icon done, pm me your request and if possible the app icon itself and I will sort it out for you as soon as i can.
3) If anyone wants to make flashable zips by all means please do, you can either just pass it to me and I'll upload it or just pass me the link and I'll update the download links!
4) If you used the templates to make icons for the apps which are not included in the original pack, it would be nice if you could send them to me (i don't have all app icons) so i can update the particular pack for the benefit of everyone..... (credits will be given of course)

Of course you may, it would be an honour which pack you planning to use anyway? And I don't think you would need to change the resolution I've set it to 100x100 (ideal is 72x72 for hdpi at least) but I'm using them at the 100px size and it looks alright, don't think 72 and 100 would make any difference, only the template is at 800x800 (easier to work with)

This is gonna be one useful thread. I have accumulated quite a few weather icons sets over the last few months. But then Google shut down the api, uccw had to switch api, new weather conditions come into picture which rendered those sets useless 50% of the time. And renaming each of them individually is real PITA. Hope to find at least some of them here in near future.
Sharing the one set which i made by renaming icons from earlier set. i.e. I renamed the icons to match uccw 2.x requirements. I didn't MAKE these icons. Screenshot -

Good eye, but I downloaded them all just now to see whats up and everything is in order....idk whats up with it.

Created a set for personal use, so gonna share here. These are a re-use/remix of an old file of touchflo weather icons and have the text of the weather conditions included on the images since I was having trouble with the line break text on the uccw.
Hope others can enjoy.
There are 84 images altogether (day and nights) and seem to do best at 2x1 or larger.
edited: 11.10.12 - all images should be correct and included according to yahoo standards. thanks - to avoid any duplication please delete the previous version and re add this folder.

Thank you to the original poster for the MoNe weather icons , i have updated them to V2 UCCW

another set of icons with weather conditions imprinted onto the image - due to having the condition included onto the image, they work best when set for larger view.
(any problems, please let me know so I can correct - there are 84 - day and night conditions, based on yahoo api for weather)
Edit and Updated: 11.10.12: Folder has been updated (properly condensed to add missing images) - my apologies. Please delete old folder to avoid any duplicates.

Here is a list of what should be included in both Day and Night Folders for uccw weather. Note the default weather should be label as stated. (not entirely sure but to be on the safe side, keep everything else lower case - it did make a difference on my end)

Icon pack 1 updated with more icons.

Two new wallpapers added. One in the Desktop folder called 'merica, and one in the Phone folder called Merica Star(I didn't bother fixing the name to 'merica Star ).

3 new wallpapers added. They are based around Nvidias logo. One for phones, one for the Desktop, and one for the Nvidia Shield (made a folder for the Shield users)

The icon packs are still happening , but I've postponed them for now because of how much work I've had. So I try to make wallpapers here and there for now.
