okay posting in that thread and sorry,
but have you checked it??

Hi,
your version of windows is almost certainly illegitimate. One of the tip offs is the adfly links that I removed from your 1st post. These links are used to make money for the person who posted whatever you downloaded. Because they are used to make money, adfly links are not allowed at xda. I am sure you understand why I removed your links and closed this thread.
Cheers

Trying to post a thread but error pops up

Hi all,
I'm new and was hoping to post a thread with questions in this, Nexus One Q&A forum but when I try an error pops up. I have sent a PM to the admin (mikechannon) and the moderator/admin MSSION (spelling?) a few hours ago and still have not received a reply. I was just wondering if I am doing something wrong and if someone could help me out. I can always email/PM you what I want to post and you can let me know if I need to change something to allow it to post or you can help me answer the questions.
here's the error msg that pops up:
To prevent spam to the forums, new users are not permitted to post outside links in their message. All new user accounts will be verified by moderators before this restriction is removed.
Thanks
You can't post hot links, like it said.
I don't have any links in my post so I don't think I should have any hot links either.
Then post it on pastebin and link it back here so we can see what you are posting.
Well this one worked so ask here

DELETED and posted as a new thread
hey it worked!!
I'm gonna make a new thread with my questions now.
thanks again.....

A plea to the Mods

Please please please would you setup a separate "Galaxy Note ROMs and flashing" forum and move all relevant posts to it. The "General" and "Q&A" forums are getting swamped with such stuff and there are a lot of posts about near-identical stuff.
Thanks

To what end ? The ROM threads already have the info posted and as for people who end up having troubles flashing will eventually just post the same pre-answered questions in the new forum instead of in the Q&A forum.

Better to have all the crap at one place rather than distributing it around

Well, we could then hope that the flashing/bricking traffic would leave q&a forum, making it relatively clean and easier to read,
Right now its kind of difficult to find any interesting info in all the "help i didn't RTFM" noise

And then create a thread with a list of kind of bricks with info to get out of them ?
Feasible...but with a lot of work. But you're right---too many people stuck with the same freakin' type of problem and too many post individual threads for the same.I'm akmost getting tired of seeing the "Help! I'm on unsafe kernel how do I get back ?" type or the "Is it really safe to go to the stock kernel ?" type of threads...You have my vote:good:

[Request] Real APK Leecher v1.3.5

Hello to all, I made this thread to request a Real APK Leecher v1.3.5. Because I can't download it in mediafire. Its give me message like this:
Split Archive Blocked
The file you attempted to download is an archive that is part of a set of archives. MediaFire does not support unlimited downloads of split archives and the limit for this file has been reached. MediaFire understands the need for users to transfer very large or split archives, up to 10GB per file, and we offer this service starting at $1.50 per month.
We have informed the owner that sharing of this file has been limited and how they can resolve this issue.
Still have questions or do you think we've made an mistake? Check our knowledge base for more information or contact us about it.
