My GPS will randomly turn itself off (and perhaps on, but I'm not sure). Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have recommendations for a solution?
Just used gps for an hour and a half drive, no problems. What rom do you use?

It is happening randomly - using no apps, using nav apps, using games, etc.

I am running sweet rom v5 and my battery has been draining pretty fast... Like about 20% in one night. I have bbs(better battery service), installed and I checked my kernel wake locks and there seems to be something called "powermanagerservice" that's been on from the time since I unplugged it from the charger.... Any suggestions as to what is the problem? Is it an app or is it the rom. Also when I was on Samsung stock jelly bean from Germany this same thing was waking up my kernel. Here is a screenshot:

Yes.I know mine was directly related to touch sounds screen unlock sound and basically kind of every sound that came out of the device. It shouldn't be a problem unless the audio out_2 minute counter keeps rising for no reason.

On stock v20a, the navigation buttons didn't turn on unless I was using them. Now, after I installed the Slimbean ROM, they turn on everytime I touch the screen. Is there any way to solve this?

nope, unfortunately. you can disable them completely, or turn them on whenever screen is on, but there's no jb mode, i.e. for them to light up only when you touch them.
Ok, thanks. Can you tell me how to disable them completely?

Ok, I'll search for it in the settings. Thanks, man!
I couldn't find it. If somebody knows, please tell me .
I'm not on Slimbean either, but I guess it's somewhere under device>buttons>backlight.

Repair the phone via pcc. BTW: why are you still using 4.1? Update your phone to 4.3 and report back

Hello! Yes I have repaired the phone via PCC twice!!
Still same.
Reasons for being on 4.1.2 is no bugs and my power button does not work.
I have no updates via PCC or OTA yet for UK network 3
Use BetterBatteryStats (there's an APK available here on XDA) to find out what's keeping your phone awake

Hello if you looked at screenshots, its from betterbatterystats...
Give the phone to sony and let them repair your power button. Then flash a stock 4.3 ftf and report back

I'm sorry, I couldn't see the screenshots before. You'll need a better BBS log, it would be much more reliable if you would post a log from overnight. Those one hour logs can't always give a clear enough picture. Make sure you don't use your phone, so we have a completely idle log.
Check the BBS thread for AlarmManager, that should already give you quote some pointers to work with.

The whole point of doing a thread here is so i don't have to send phone to sony to repair
Even i know i could have the phone repaired! Don't wanna spend money on repair
Phone works fine just the battery issue as mentioned above
Don't want 4.3 due to all the bugs mentioned here

I did do a better battery stat but just not posted here since i deleted the log
Main issue is the android system battery drain at top of battery history chart

Well, without a better log, we can't help you. 'Android System' contains just too much functions. It shouldn't be a problem to just get an idle log off 4hrs or more, to help solve your problem, right?

In the above quoted thread someone said the majority of the alarm manager wakelooks being Google Talk and Facebook. I concur and think these are among the first things to kick from the phone. Do you also have NFC on? Widgets on your screen?
Actually it sounds as if you did already a lot. I am not sure if I would further bother with this ROM,whatever it is.

Disabled Google talk and Facebook, NFC off!
Only widget is the stock Sony weather one, which is set to refresh every 12 hours.

Some disabled apps still "work" in the background. NFC for example. Or GTalk.
Investigation of these sort of wake-locks can be tedious. Unless you see it as an interesting task Did you consider simply re flashing it?
Does anyone else's keyboard every do this?
See attached
Stock locked bootloader not rooted.
I see it often as I am typing, this is the first time I've been able to grab a screen shot of it. As soon as I press anything the keyboard returns to normal functions
