Just got my One, and added my Twitter to Blinkfeed. Quickly realized I actually don't care to follow some people anymore, so I went into the Twitter app and unfollowed.
The app itself, and even Twitter on my desktop confirm that I'm not following anymore, but Blinkfeed is still displaying them. I've pulled down on Blinkfeed to update, and even have it hooked into wifi to get it to auto update, but those posts just won't go away. Any ideas?

I was spring cleaning my app settings on Facebook.com when I accidentally deleted the HTC Sense app that Friend Stream uses to post status updates, and for the Friend Stream widget to show all recent updates.
But now that I had removed the HTC Sense application, Friend Stream does not show any updates from Facebook, except for status updates that I create through Friend Stream and all updates that were posted to Friend Stream prior to removing the application from Facebook.
My first instinct was to reinstall HTC Sense to my Facebook account, but I noticed that after I made an update via the phone, HTC Sense is back on my application list. I checked the settings on Facebook, and all options are selected so on that end, everything should work. Through my phone I had removed the widget from my screen and added it back in, I have tried updating the information manually, and I have tried refreshing my "friends" which was an option in the full Friend Stream application on the Hero. I have also tried removing my sign in information for Facebook, and inputting it back into my phone.
What I have no tried is a factory reset on my phone, as I wanted to see if there was a solution that did not involve doing that.
Running tazzpatriot's new sense gingerbread Rom and am running into an odd issue with friendstream app.
The widget works fine. But I can't get the app itself to update. It appears to sync when I open it but never actually displays any status updates or anything. Has anyone else experienced this?

Guess what?
I found your post by doing a google search, so I have an unrooted HTC Evo Shift with the latest Sense 2.1 update that just came out a couple of days ago and I can't get any status from Facebook to show up in Friendstream either. The really crazy thing is it syncs the contacts and links them in the People app.
BUT, the really odd thing is that the official Facebook app is doing the same thing, wont show any status updates.
I have cleared data and cache on all three apps (Facebook, Friendstream, and Friendstream widget) with no luck seeing status in Friendstream or Facebook. I also took a shot at uninstalling the Facebook update, but that didn't work either. I even took a shot at removing the Friendstream app authorization on my Facebook account and readding it and that didn't even work.
I also have an iPad with the official iOS Facebook app and it doesn't show anything when I select the 'Status Updates' feed. Only when I select 'News Feed' or 'More Recent' as the feed in the iOS app does it show stuff.
The only thing I can think of is something must be wrong with my Facebook account since nothing seems to be working right as far as the 'Status Updates' feed.
same happens for me running Gin-Sen-Tazz i just sync my contacts with facebook for htc sense and use the facebook for android app for everything else (status updates, chat, messages etc..)
same problem for me on a Thunderbolt and im on bamf 2.1. its very frustrating since I just linked all my contacts to FB for HTC Sense and the FriendStream widget works but once you go into the app, no updates!!!
Works fine now on eris using the newest gin-sen-tazz.
Hello guys
As it is written on the thread name I just cant get my Calendar entries to show on Blinkfeed.
Furthermore my eMails from my Gmail account arent showing up on the lockscreen despite having it setted as "Productivity"
I hope some can help me, becaue those issues really bug me a lot.
Thanks
Are you using the stock mail and calendar apps? Blinkfeed and the productivity lock screen only pull data from the stock apps.

Ok I use Gmail for my Mail account. That explains the lockscreen issue.thanks for that!
Is it right that with Android 4.2 we can use lockscreen widgets,so i can customize with Gmail?
In case of the calendar issue I am using the stock app, which was preloaded on the HTC One. Any more suggestions why it doesnt show up?

for the first question that'll depend. android 4.2.2 stock comes with lockscreen widgets. whether HTC decides to add them to their lockscreen setup is a completely other issue lols.
as for your second issue. check the blinkfeed topics and services section. scroll to the left and see what services you have toggled on. you have to have calendar on for it to show. it shows fine for me. also it does not pre-show events you have coming up only when the event is happening at that moment. so i have my calendar setup for my classes. say i have class at 3pm. blinkfeed will not tell me i have a class coming up at 3pm if i update it at 1pm. it will show up though when i update my blinkfeed around 3:20pm though. An interesting tid bit is if you have way too many topics and facebook stuff your calendar blinkfeed will get pushed down and you wont see it. (IE it wont have priority space on the blinkfeed area)
hopefully that helps explain it a bit.

Thanks for answering, but it still doesn't work. I guess it's my blinkfeed, which is bugged somehow and I can't see a way to get in working despite trying hard. Maybe I just have to live with this and adapt to it or wait for an update to fix this bug

Are you on a stock ROM? Or custom? I'm on ordroid 5.0.0 and it works fine. Are you sure your Google calendars are updating? Do you see stuff when you go into the calendar app?

It seems that Blinkfeed only show the calendar entries that is due for today. Try adding something in your calender for today and reboot your phone. It should show then.
Hey guys,
I know that this isn't a new topic, but I having some problems with my HTC ONE.
My calendar doesn't show the events, events is in it`s data base, but still not showing in application.
When i use search i can found my events.
My HTC is updated to android 4.3
I've tried to reconfigure the accounts, but have no effect.
I using the default application, that came with the phone.
Someone knows what I need to do for correct this issue?
Below some screenshots.
Same issue
I have "Contacts Birthday's and Events" calendar subscribed in my Gmail and I maintain the birthday dates of all my contacts in Gmail [format: December DD, YYYY]. In HTC calendar [Accounts] i checked the Google option and in that i checked "Contacts Birthday's and Events" option, which takes the birthdays dates from my Gmail contacts and sets reminders and notifications. But I am not able to see any notifications from the calendar.
Now, i have another option in HTC Calendar Accounts called "People (Birthdays & Anniversaries)" and i have no idea where this option came from and from where it takes the birthday data from but it displays the birthdays. The annoying thing is when an event is about to occur this People thing displays 4 reminders for the same event, which is irritating.
I want to know where this People option came from and from where its taking the data and why the hell cant i see the Gmail contacts birthdays through the "Contacts Birthday's and Events" option??? :crying:
I was able to see the calendar in Blinkfeed when I first got the phone, but at some point I removed all content from Blinkfeed, removed Blinkfeed and reset the phone (on an unrelated matter). Calendar is checked on Services and Apps, but it doesn't show in the feed. Any idea on how to restore it so the calendar shows? Stock ROM, rooted.
Edit: Hmm, not sure what I did, was trying several things last night in calendar settings etc. and none seemed to work, but this morning I checked and there it was in Blinkfeed again...
Same thing here. Not sure but I read somewhere that calendar comes on in the morning hours.

Calendar comes up once a day. Mine works fine. If you have appts for that day they show.
I went and got my Droid Turbo Thursday. I installed twitter, turned on notifications and selected which twitter accounts I wanted to receive notifications from. At first it worked perfectly, but starting saturday I noticed that I wasn't getting notifications anymore. I uninstalled the twitter app, reinstalled it, restarted my phone, unfollowed and refollowed the twitter accounts, turned mobile notifications off and back on for each of the twitter accounts. I get notifications from gmail and text messages, but for whatever reason twitter notifications don't show up. Every time I uninstall twitter on my phone, I'll get maybe 2 or 3 notifications before they just stop coming again. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on what this could be?
I created a new twitter account and the problem went away, so I'm guessing there is something wrong with my other twitter account. So if anyone else experiences this issue, create a new twitter account and see if that fixes the problem.
Twitter Push Notifications Not Working!
I'm having the same issue as Kenfolk but I really can't create a new twitter account. That is crazy. My notifications are turned on, on both my phone and on my twitter app. However, the only notifications I receive are the basics- like when multiple ppl retweet the same tweet- I do NOT get notifications for when my favorites tweet. I don't understand how my cheap POS lucid could deliver these notifications in real time but new, fancy, expensive Droid Turbo can't without me creating a new account.
Some one please solve this! Or I'm taking my phone back to Verizon this week.
Personally, I don't use Twitter on my Turbo. They are too much like Facebook and want permissions they don't really need. Like http://www.cnet.com/news/twitter-is-now-tracking-the-apps-you-download/ tracking what other apps you have on your phone. I installed both on my Kindle Fire which doesn't contain any contacts and only has a few apps on it.
But I wouldn't blame the Turbo phone if you are having Twitter issues. It could just be that the Twitter app hasn't yet been updated to work with the Turbo. The joys of coding an application for Android is that there are hundreds of different phones out there running a slightly different version and this is a programmer's nightmare. You can only do your best and fix the bugs as they happen. Before giving up on the Turbo, I would try contacting Twitter to see if they are aware of the issue.
Yea, I don't think it is an issue with the Droid Turbo itself, since I had a similar issue on my Droid X2. As it turns out creating a new twitter account only temporarily fixed the problem. I went in, unfollowed and refollowed the accounts and turned mobile notifications back on and sometimes that fixes the problem. To be honest I think it might be a problem with the app itself. I haven't had this problem in about a month, since I originally posted this, so I'm guessing that it just takes a little time for it to get back working. But ultimately creating a new twitter account didn't really solve my problem so I went back to my old account.
TL;DR Probably a twitter app problem not a Droid Turbo problem and only time will fix it.
