Hi, there
I can't rooting My Sony tablet Z.
It stop on CMD “/data/local/tmp/onload.sh” and body white screen.
I tried to run the bat file by admin mode too in win8, but It show me “cannot find the path specified”
Body version is 10.1.E.0.250
I install usb driver from PCcompanion, and checked "usb debug" and "unknow app"
some advices please.

Windows 8 requires extra drivers
On Google search windows 8 android driver installations, follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

This forum is for the Xperia Z Phone. Not the tablet. Maybe you should check the tablet forum instead.

I don't know if there's a tablet z specific forum. I just wanted you to spare the frustrations trying to get tools working on a device which isn't supported.

yes . i have problem with semc usb drivers . i got other from google but they dont work too . when i press driver check it saiys operation cant be done due to incorrect format

there is some problem with sa0101usb.inf or .ini i dont remember

Having trouble rooting my samsung infuse with superone ,superone stops reponding at step#7 see pic for some of what I have installed to try and do the root thank you for you time in this matter

Just type x8 root

Hello everyone. As the title says I have rooting problem on my X8 device.
My x8 was already rooted before and i had had custom rom on it.
Few days back I wanted to put another rom, while doing that X8 got bricked.
I fixed it via PC Companion and everything is alright until i try to root it.
(Following links are in text form, I just made this account and can't make links jet.)
SuperOneClick:
When I click root, first error I get is this:

After clicking Yes I get new window popping up saying.
Unknown error(0xe00022b) (last 3 latters change every time i try)
I click OK and it starts rooting. After few sec, it freezes like this:

All I get here is text on right blinking every few seconds.

Realizing that this won't work i tried via x8toolbox

I don't know what to do. I was searching forums for days in hope to resolve my problem and had no luck.

I prefer if one app doesnt work try different apps like z4root .....etc ...dont get stuck on only one app...

For x8, u need to enable usb debugging, and root via flashtool

Dude at the screenshot it says "samsung GT-N7000" are you sure you are trying to root xperia x8?

I'm pretty sure I am using X8.
I know about usb debugging, it's enabled. Flashtool won't work either.

Yeah, I'm using Windows 8. It may be the problem, becouse before I returned him back to normal via PCC, I had Windows 7 installed and it worked.

Reflash the stock rom and try again
when i charge the phone ..its led keeps on glowing red and it does not start ...what is the problem with it ? :/ PLEASE HELP!!!

I charged it for more than 15 hours!! Still its showing the red light and is not opening!
It might be soft bricked. Reflash the firmware in PCC.

Remove the back panel and there is a off button use a pen and press it firmly but not too hard for about 5-6 seconds see if that works

If it is soft bricked 1st charge the phone well and flash a stock firmware using flashtool...

Nothing working It just cant find my mobile connected via USB... When I connected via USB only red light showing up and nothing happen.

Are you on windows 7 or 8? If you are on windows 8 you have to disable something... Driver certificate enforcement or something I forgot ...
In order to turn it on, you press the power button. If that doesn't work, then that means something is wrong.
You have to install the drivers for ADB to flash stuff. Install Sony PC Companion and plug your phone in, see if it detects it

By using the Sony PC Companion and connecting your phone to the computer. It has to be switched on though usually, but just give it a shot.

Start a browser, open the site of your preferred Search engine and type "sonymobile d5803 adb driver", hit enter and it shows...

Since when do drivers come as executables? Don't get me wrong but you may want to refrain from proceeding really.

i mean how to associate it with the flashtool. anyway, found out i just need to tick & install all the drivers from flashtool itself.
Hello everyone, I am trying to flash stock rom on my xperia z1 but unable to do so. Since i am new to sony (shifted from samsung), i first checked few websites with full detailed guide and approached accordingly. I am running windows 10 on my laptop and i am unable to install flashboot, and few more drivers which are pre-requisite for flashing. I have downloaded and installed latest flashtool but when i try to install drivers from the drivers folder, it fails to install. So can someone please guide me on how should i approach to flash stock rom on z1. It was a child's play in samsung and i am sure it wont be that hard on sony either, may be i am missing something.

It could be because the ultra stamina mode is a task not expected from the app that gives you permission :silly:
